We had a great stay here. The staff was friendly, the rooms were quiet, and it was nice having a pull out sofa. It's hard finding a hotel that sleeps 5 that doesn't charge a lot. The breakfast was great, there was a nice variety. I've posted pics of the breakfast area and the food choices, it was much more than I expected. Everything was very clean. They also had fresh lemon water in the lobby all day. There's also a lot of things near this hotel that are useful when traveling, including a 24 hour grocery store.

This is a great place to stay. The staff was friendly and helpful during my stay. The room was clean and really comfortable. The shower was really big and had great water pressure. They leave plenty of extra towels in the bathroom also. The bed was really comfortable and the room had plenty of lighting. The continental breakfast had everything you could want. It has eggs, oatmeal, waffles and plenty of other selections. I would stay here again and I would highly recommend it to anyone else. My only complaint would be this hotel needs better wifi. My room was on the 3rd floor and the WiFi signal wasn't very strong.

    Queen bed. Very comfortable.

I was expecting to stay only one night. But considering the excellent experience I had is stayed three nights. First this is a fairly new place and it looks great. I booked a double queen room on the third floor. It happened to be right across from the elevator. I expected noise all night. I was pleasantly surprised as I heard nothing. The beds were incredibly comfortable and they provided four pillows each. Everything was pretty new and quite well maintained. The bathroom was large and every day was cleaned spotless as far as I could tell. The morning breakfast was pretty standard hotel fare. The hot food was hot and cold was cold. Nothing bad but nothing special. Did not use pool or fitness room. Front desk staff was very pleasant and friendly. If you are in need of comfort as your priority when staying in Hudson, this is an excellent choice. With discount I payed 107 each night and was well worth it to me. Only a couple small things. Desk chair in the room was cheap and I almost fell backwards when I sat on it. Also, parking is a major issue. There are limited spaces and many people parked in places that may block some larger vehicles, like Uhaul trucks, from maneuvering. Also there is no parking for such trucks so beware if you are staying while moving.

Our car broke down and we were stranded here, but the Comfort Inn made it feel more like a Vacation.

BED BUGS & VERY Poor Management Response…read more My husband, our 2-year-old daughter, and I stayed here for a wedding from 9/19-9/21. My sister and her boyfriend stayed in the room across the hall. I'm sharing our direct experience so others can make an informed decision. The first night was uneventful, though our room had a strange smell and didn't feel very clean. We stayed because of the wedding. The night after we checked out, I found multiple bites all over my daughter's back. They became swollen and painful enough that she needed steroids. Around the same time, my sister--who was still in her room--found a live bug. She physically brought it to the front desk, and staff saw it and acknowledged it was a bug. I later noticed I also had several bites on my chest. We immediately began trying to reach the manager, Sanjay. For weeks, neither my sister nor I could get a call back. Staff repeatedly told us he was out of town. I finally reached him well over two weeks later. When we finally spoke, I felt he was dismissive and unprofessional, even when discussing our toddler's medical treatment. He refused a full refund--in fact, we never received any refund at all--despite the situation and the expenses we paid afterward (medical, hot-drying/ruining clothes, and hiring a detection dog to check our home and car). He also asked for my daughter's medical records, which I was not comfortable providing due to privacy. My husband later called, and that conversation also became extremely defensive. The manager claimed the bug my sister brought to the front desk was "a wood chip," even though she had watched it moving and the staff had already seen it and agreed with it being a bed bug. He repeatedly referred to my husband as "your lawyer husband," which came across as rude and unprofessional. I was also told that the health department had been contacted. When I called them myself, I was told they were not and haven't been notified at that time (this was nearly a MONTH later). They eventually checked only the rooms we stayed in--and that was about a month after our stay. When I spoke to Tammy the employee at the desk 3 days later, they had no record of any issue and the room was still open... which is highly concerning. At that point, we refused further direct communication with the manager and worked only through corporate. Even corporate staff expressed they were surprised that a refund hadn't been offered. Instead, we were eventually told we were placed on a "do not stay" list. Honestly, that's fine--after this experience, I would never return. This situation cost our family close to $1,000, not including the stress and worry over our toddler's reaction to the bites. And we never received any refund of any kind. I waited to write this until I had cooled down so I could be clear and factual. I can only speak to our firsthand experience, but based on that experience, I personally would not stay here again and strongly encourage others to use caution. I see another recent review also stated bed bugs were found (and that was not from my sister or her boyfriend), so we are not the only ones experiencing this. Please use caution when staying.

I can't say if the rate was different because the company paid, I don't know. However, I can say the single rooms are decent. The room is somewhat small but not tiny or cramped. The TV is a larger size (not sure of specifics but bigger than most TVs at hotels that I have seen anyways). The fridge is larger than what some hotels provide as well. The lamps and furniture give a somewhat modern feel to the room, there is AC and heat and the beds are pretty comfy. The food isn't bad as far as continental breakfasts. It's basic and as far as I can see has the same selection every day; eggs, sausage, cold cereal, oatmeal, Belgian waffle makers, yogurt and fruit. Nothing stands out. The pool is okay, small but does go just over 5 feet. However, there is no hot tub. Typically if there's a pool there is also a hot tub with it, but that's not the case at this hotel.

She proactively asked if I had a AAA discount, so I didn't have to. The room itself was clean and the furnishings relatively new. The bathroom is new without any deficiencies (schleamy caulking, mold, drips, etc). Carpeting in the hotel hallways and rooms did show some dirt, and I did notice buckles in a couple areas, but overall average or better (some hotels I feel like leaving my socks/shoes on in the room!). AC worked well, so this was a fine place to put my head down for the night after a long day traveling. Someone was using the indoor pool, and it looks adequate. The super eight hotel next-door looks newer and better, but the bedbug report scared us over to the Quality inn.

Your going to hear every footstep pounding in your room! I have stayed at this location a few times and unfortunately two of the times I was unlucky and got a room with the noisy neighbors. I don't blame the neighbors totally, it mainly the shitty thin walls and ceiling. Last night took the cake! Actually had to switch rooms at 11:30pm. Upstairs room had kids running all night long. Started at 8pm and then they went to the pool (I know because I could hear the conversations! ). When they came back from the pool at around 10:30 it was party time! At 11:30, it was still going strong. So I called and asked the front desk for a different room, The young man working was understanding and did apologize and gave me a new room. Changing rooms at 11:30pm sucks, but I was happy I got into a quiet room eventually. I was a little put off while I was exchanging my keys that night however. There was a group of 5 checking in with no masks (even though there where signs staying Masks Must Be Worn). I guess I get it.... this guy working the late shift doesn't want to put up with anti-maskers.... but what about the people who do follow the rules? Bottom line.... don't mind this hotel if I get decent (or no) neighbors. Otherwise, quickly ask for a change! Or better yet... ask for the top floor at check in.
