By far the nicest super 8. The room was clean. The bathroom was clean. The shower was decent.

The front desk staff when I checked in around 2 pm was very nice. The late-night front desk staff…read morenot as much. There was a wedding party staying at the hotel, and the "party" was spilling out into the hallway all night until around 4 am (or maybe that's just when I fell asleep from sheer exhaustion regardless of the ruckus). I did call the front desk at one point to let them know that people kept going in and out of rooms, slamming doors, talking and laughing in the hallway. He was rather unpleasant but said he would investigate. The noise continued. I wondered at cameras in the hallways, and at front desk staff's willingness to ensure a quiet stay. Not a great night sleep, which is kind of the whole point of a hotel. But, the room was very clean. The parking lot was spacious. I had coffee the next morning which wasn't terrible, and the view of the field and trees from the deck outside the breakfast room was lovely (I live in the desert and am easy to please with just a little green and a cool breeze).

Second, if you want to try and sleep between the lights blinking all night whatever you do DO NOT let them put you anywhere near the elevator. It was so DAMN loud every time someone stopped on our floor. But what did it for me and had me checking out early was something I know the lady meant to be kind but I (women) travel for business 70% of the time by myself and this was my breaking point. My husband went down to get a bit of breakfast and had his hands full coming back to the room. The lady swiped her key and let him right in. Are you Kidding me!!!! So that's how easy it is to let someone into a room at your hotel? The least she could have done was taken his card in his hand and done it. She had NO idea if that was his room or not! Sorry, but if your guests safety is NOT your top priority I will make sure and do a review and let ALL women know they are not safe in your hotel. Please go somewhere else!

I stayed at the Comfort Inn on Friday, 2/11. The hotel is brand new so it's lovely with a modern…read morebut comfortable decor. I think the highest compliment I can give is that the staff really appeared to enjoy working at the hotel. They weren't just friendly but truly engaged each guest as they arrived. As a Business Manager I think this is perhaps the most important detail but also the most difficult to manage. Thank you for your hospitality and I will definitely be returning. Thanks, C P.S. I forgot to mention they have a great continental breakfast...I'm a coffee gal so the fact that they had my favorite creamer definitely helped.

However, I can say the single rooms are decent. The room is somewhat small but not tiny or cramped. The TV is a larger size (not sure of specifics but bigger than most TVs at hotels that I have seen anyways). The fridge is larger than what some hotels provide as well. The lamps and furniture give a somewhat modern feel to the room, there is AC and heat and the beds are pretty comfy. The food isn't bad as far as continental breakfasts. It's basic and as far as I can see has the same selection every day; eggs, sausage, cold cereal, oatmeal, Belgian waffle makers, yogurt and fruit. Nothing stands out. The pool is okay, small but does go just over 5 feet. However, there is no hot tub. Typically if there's a pool there is also a hot tub with it, but that's not the case at this hotel.

This hotel is wrapping up a complete interior re-do. I had a double queen room. The room was so NEW…read more- new carpet, new walls, new furniture. It's got a small fridge and a microwave. There's lots of storage. My travel companion loved the breakfast (I didn't get up in time, but she did bring me coffee and yogurt). The staff tried their darnedest to be helpful. They did listen when we suggested they figure out some way to work around the odd way the designers are "hiding" the refrigerators, as it's causing them to overheat. The easiest way would probably be to take the door and associated hardware off that cabinet - otherwise, I think they're risking equipment failure and/or fire. NOTE: There is no elevator to the 2nd floor. I would gladly stay there again.

We arrived and our roomed smelled like smoke, was extremely dirty and just overall grungy. We immediately requested a new room and they took quite some time to get us a new room, but were able to make it happen for the one night. They let us know the option was the dirty room we originally booked or we have to move rooms in the morning. The second room was much better, but I was still grossed out after the first room. There were stains on the linens and hair in the shower. In the morning we went to check with them and if we wanted to stay we had to move and downgrade rooms again. To put it simply, they didn't seem to care about our experience, business or cleanliness of the room(s).
