It ended up causing some whistling with the first floor unit, but they came out to adjust pieces, give us new vents in the walls, and make sure we were happy with the adjustments. All of their technicians were easy to work with and super courteous. They send you a text when the tech is on their way with a photo of them and a tracker which makes me feel safe if I'm ever home alone when they come. Heating and cooling is something you definitely want to get right as it impacts your everyday life!

I didn't realize until speaking with them this new style requires slightly different venting and plumbing but Anderson could oversee the whole thing. Because they handled the entire installation of my HVAC system a few years back and did a great job I knew they'd be perfect to do this install. We're loving this new system already and can't wait to see the benefits it shows over time. He observed there was a lot of offset tension on the gas line connection to the furnace due its improper installation when the furnace was originally installed. He used a flexible gas line connector to alleviate the issue (see photo) and was very meticulous to ensure the new pipe had no leaks. Furthermore, he applied additional stabilizers to ensure the pipe was properly secured. I certainly appreciate his attention to detail and his outstanding professionalism to make my furnace safer and more efficient. Griffin Halls demonstrated superior skills and willingness to go the extra distance to help his customers brings great credit upon himself and the Good Guys HVAC company. Mecko's had some good reviews so we decided to give them a call. Jacob arrived this morning on time and with a smile. We discussed the situation and he went to work. He did a complete diagnostic on the system and educated me on some of the highlights and things to look for. While it was only the circuit breaker, boy was I embarrassed, Jacob was professional about it. He said it was good that we called because there was something that he needed to do research on and fix. No reputable company should be pushing costly upgrades without clear, verifiable justification--especially not to vulnerable customers. Shame on Summers for what appears to be predatory behavior. I would strongly urge anyone, particularly older homeowners and their families, to get a second opinion before agreeing to any major repairs or replacements recommended by this company.

Initially I called them as my AC was out and they came out and found that it was the capacitor. They didn't have the correct one my unit needed in stock, so the tech offered that he could wire two together that would "work". If I wanted the correct part, it would cost an additional $100 dollars just to order it, plus the cost of the part. The next time I had an AC problem, I called them again and the gentleman fixed the problem and offered me to join their membership program. The pricing is fair and it includes two check ups a year. He also told me that they do not charge a $100 fee to order in parts as the previous tech had told me. Yesterday was my first check up. The gentleman they sent was very nice and said my condenser might need more coolant, but he wasn't sure they would need to send out a repair technician, he was only a maintenance technician. So today another very nice employee came and checked my unit and said yes, in fact it could use additional coolant, and he gave me the price. I was quite shocked by the price, and looked up online the typical pricing for the type of coolant that I needed and it was a third of what I was being quoted. As I don't believe everything I read online, I called another HVAC company for a quote and they about a fourth of the price per pound. So there it is. Very nice service people, super duper over priced on coolant even if you are a member of their service plan and that was with my discount :(

For starters their prices were over rated and they had inexperienced installers doing the work. But at the time we had no other choice. After everything was installed we had a leak from the piping for condensation release caused damage to our drop ceiling in the basement. They had to send a more experienced installed come to replace that piping correctly. So fast forward a few years. We noticed the a/c wasn't producing like it should. I just happened to go where our furnace and blower are located. Heard a lot of air blowing and looked to see part of the duct work is came apart (see attached pic). Called them out to repair it. After he looked at it, he said he would come up with an estimate for the repairs. I told him we are not paying for faulty installation due to poor installers doing the work. He said he would have to call his supervisor. Well they took care of it at no cost which all they did was use better duct work tape. Then he informed us that if they had to come out again and "do it correctly" we would have to pay for it. I'm thinking "no it should have been done the right way". So don't ever use them cause they do not have very experienced installers and do crappy work.

I called F & S Wiliams at about 4pm and explained what was going on and they saif were going to send someone at night. I told them that wasnt necessary and I got a call from the technician the next morning and he was promptly at my house. Chris showed up and was professional and courteous. I explained him what i knew and what I had tried and he was able to run a few tests and diagnose that the system was freezing up. He explained to me the cost of refrigerant and offered to put that price in writing. I said that it was not necessary because F & S had been a good service for me 9 years ago when another company in town improperly installed my AC unit. Chris charged the system and encouraged questions. He stressed how important customer service is to him and his boss and any questions I had were not interfering with him. After the service was complete, he offered to bill me and I told him if I could use a card or check I could pay right now. He said card or check was acceptable and we settled up right there. It will be 95 degrees tomorrow outside but inside my house it will be a comfortable 68 degrees thanks, in part, to Chris and F & S Williams. I have used them before and if needed, I would not hesitate to use them again.
