Went here(we stayed at the hotel) for a weekend getaway with my husband and visited the casino…read more This was our 1st time staying at the hotel but our 2nd visitng the casino. I was lucky enough to obtain a reservation in one of their fireplace suites and I am so happy that I did. The pictures on their website really does not do any justice, the rooms are so much nicer in person. Once we arrived, check-in was easy and quick. If you need a cart they have staff to assist you with your luggage to your room. Every staff person that we encountered was very nice and helpful. Please know that you can not take outside alcohol to your room(you will miss it on their website when booking) and considering I never received a confirmation email for my reservation. You can take a small personal cooler with only water, juice or sodas(trust me security will check it)! Once we got to our room it was so nice, spacious and clean. The bathroom came with a full bath with shower and jaquzzi tub and a half bath. We also went to two of their restaurants the 24/7 Cafe for breakfast and it was really good. We went to the Nibi for dinner and I have reveiwed that in a separate review. We will most definetly be going back to stay again.

My sister got me and my husband a room for are 24th anniversary 8/9/25. We got there to check in…read more Apparently you could not honor the reservation because you were having 3rd party issues. After trying to get it fixed for a hr there was nothing that you could do to fix it. As we are walking out the door. We were told. We hope you have a good night. How in the he** are we going to have a good night when we don't have a room. We will never spend another dime there. If anyone gets turned away from firekeepers I suggest trying the baymont hotel in battle creek . Great service, very nice and helpful staff, awesome room. For dinner we recommend clares on the river. Yummy food.

Really good stay at the Courtyard in Jackson! The hotel is clean and has all the things you would…read moreexpect from a Courtyard. The room was spacious and cozy. The staff made the stay, though! They were incredibly friendly and accommodating. I'd stay again for sure!

I haven't experienced a stay at a hotel this awful in forever…read more When we arrived, the interaction with the man at the counter was awkward. He asked "do you like our hotels?" which felt very strange. He didn't thank us for our loyalty in being a platinum member. I chalked this up to him being new or just awkward. There were people setting up for a large party in the lobby with balloons, crock pots, and aluminum trays full of food. I don't think they were staying in the hotel. My first impression wasn't great, but I still wanted to give the hotel a chance. The layout of the room is awkward. The nightstands are tiny and with the large desk phone, nothing fits on one side of the bed. The drawer is also tiny and filled with a Bible and Book of Mormon so there is no place to put my stuff. There are only two drawers for clothes, six hangers in the closet. The air conditioner wall unit is in the corner under the refrigerator and microwave. It points at the side of the desk so the air just stays in a tiny area. The TV is on a wall parallel with the bed so it's almost impossible to watch from the bed or any other angle. The bathroom has no storage. The water pressure is so low it's almost a trickle. When we arrived, the thermostat was set to heat to 77 degrees. It was 84 degrees outside and humid. The room didn't cool down to 67 degrees until 5am in the morning. The next day I called and talked to a lady at the front desk. I asked if we could change the thermostat and she said no. I asked if they had a fan we could use because it was really warm. She said "no, sorry" and then hung up on me. After staying three nights, no one cleaned our room or changed our towels. On the morning of the fourth day, we asked at the front desk if they could clean the room and the gentleman working at the front desk seemed surprised we wanted it cleaned. He said he would put us down for a cleaning. I didn't know we had to ask for cleanings at hotels now. It's not like they're worried about COVID when no one working here is wearing a mask. When we returned in the evening, the room was still not cleaned. I went to the front desk and another gentleman working said we are scheduled for a cleaning every day. He said he would put a note in to make sure it was cleaned. I don't intend to stay here in the future, and I recommend any travelers to Jackson don't stay at this hotel. They care more about saving money than their guests. Every aspect about this hotel is a cheap as possible. Do not stay here.

This TownePlace Suites in Jackson is a decent place to stay. The design of the room was awkward…read more The TV was hung on a wall so it was hard to see from any angle (bed or couch). Drawers would open when you walk by. The door to the bathroom opened out and hit the bed. The nightstand will tip over if you press on it weird. When we got the room, they never asked us if we wanted the room cleaned. We assumed it was automatic. I guess you have to ask for a full clean or tidy. We asked for it on a Sunday, and housekeeping never came so I had to call the front desk and go down to get towels. There is a complimentary breakfast every day. The food is decent. The woman working the breakfast is very militant. She yelled at me for using glasses from the room for juice even though it wasn't me. And one time she yelled at me when I was the only one there for leaving a paper plate on the counter waiting for my English muffin to toast. One time a family with kids and a pregnant woman came down five minutes before closing and the lady was so rude to them. I can see if she didn't put out more hot food, but most of the stuff is grab and go anyway. The location is awkward especially with all the construction on I-94, but it's a pretty centrally located spot. The road to get to the hotel is terrible.

I received no receipt, and had to beg for one. I paid $234.41 for a1 night stay (9 hours) for a broken room, the breakfast made my son ill and when asked for a refund of $104.00 (the amount I was charged again) because I paid GOVX (Aka member services,- military discount) $130.00 2 days prior. The hotel acknowledged they received be $130 payment, but somehow cannot find the $104 Mastercard payment! The management is Midwest lodging group. I'll never stay with Marriott again! Total disgrace that a single mom, military vet, being charged twice! A chip approval code for a Mastercard means they ran my Mastercard. Scammers!
