Thy have changed the dentist and hygienist twice without notifying me until I was in the chair. The communication and care is not half of what the old team under Dr. Wiley was. It feels very disjointed and almost like they don't enjoy working there. They are like robots with their interpersonal skills. My last cleaning they got water all over my face and chest while doing the cleaning and it seemed like the assistant was a nervous wreck working with the dentist. They left me in the chair twice while not telling me they were stepping out or why. I think they were leaving to take care of other patients during my visit. I never needed two people to do a teeth cleaning in the past. That was strange. Staffing might be a problem since the provider was unavailable for two of my appointments this year. I am moving on and don't recommend this business without Dr. Wiley and his team.

The staff is so supportive and accommodating and they really know how to communicate to their patients what to expect in a way that the patient will understand. I had cracked a filling and they were able to get me in a day later. They explained to me over the phone in a patient and clear way how to take care of the tooth in the meantime. When I was able to come in, they examined my tooth and explained clearly and patiently that I would need a crown. I shared with them my fears (I have A LOT of dental trauma) they were able to explain to me how this experience would be different and better. Dr. Dar was able to calm my fears and when I said I was leaving for vacation that evening and wouldn't be back for a week - he explained clearly why it would be ok to wait to put in the temporary crown for when I returned. I came back for the temporary crown procedure and was so scared but they turned on Great British Backing show, numbed me until I could confidently say I didn't feel anything and began drilling. They moved quickly and it was clear they all cared about each other too as they chatted about weekend plans which was so comforting for me! Then they gave me 3 ibuprofen and 1 Tylenol and told me to go ahead and take it before the numbing wears off and that research shows that combo is best for pain relief which was reassuring. They said if I had any pain that kept me up at night to call them and they would get me back in but I didn't! For the following two weeks I had no pain at all! Then I returned for my permanent crown and they were very honest about how this procedure might cause a little pain because of the cold sealant they would need to use to permanently hold the crown. But they gave me something to squish with my hands and turned on Bob Ross and again moved quickly and confidently through the procedure. This part was slightly painful but nothing compared to what I've experienced in the past and was prepared for because of their clear communication. The whole procedure took about a half hour! Then they sent me home with another 3 ibuprofen and 1 Tylenol - I took it right away and had no pain the rest of the day. I experienced the slightest discomfort later that evening but nothing that kept me up at night and when I woke up the next morning the pain was gone. Here I am a day later and zero pain at all!!!! Just the slightest cold sensitivity but it's very manageable. I am so grateful for their thoughtful and encouraging staff! Heavenly and Dr Dar were amazing to work with. So patient and compassionate and created a welcoming environment! You will get quality care here.

It's hard for me to get time off work and I was excited to get a long overdue cleaning. When I arrived I was told they were short staffed and that I'd need to come back for the cleaning another time. I was moved from one room to another and passed off among different dental assistants. They took X-rays and offered orthodontia and fillings but even with my insurance (Delta Dental) the prices were way too high for me. The whole vibe felt a bit unorganized but maybe I just came on an off day. Again, the staff and provider I met with were all very kind and seemed to be doing their best, given the chaos of that day.

The office is sparkling clean, bathroom is stocked with all necessities (and also just nice thoughtful touches like hand lotion), and it's SO cute and decked out for the holidays right now. Just a really wonderful clinic atmosphere with really great people giving excellent care! I called yesterday with a tiny, but very sharp and annoying chip in a tooth, and they were able to fit me in today for a quick visit to smooth the edges before the holiday so I didn't have to deal with the discomfort while I was out-of-state! He is very on top of his stuff, super efficient whilst being very pleasant and caring. He is so good at what he does - I love to feel his confidence cos that makes me feel I can trust him. Kendra was also very friendly and caring while doing my X-rays and assisting Dr.Hahn. I also got a small chip fixed within 15minutes after 20yrs of it being chipped! Every dentist I talked to never had the solution laid out so plainly and efficiently so I always rejected doing anything about it giving how minor it is. But Dr. Hahn really explained it to me well and the price is very reasonable, so I did it on the spot. I can not believe how perfect it looks after 10+ minutes of quick and painless work - my tooth looked as if nothing ever happened there! Overall I am very happy to have found this place thru Yelp and met these nice people there. I am surely looking forward to years of great care from the Edelweiss team.

I asked if the appointments could be combined, since I can't take multiple days off work for a routine cleaning, and the response was met with audible sighs and an overall attitude that felt impatient and dismissive. I was first offered a random Wednesday appointment. I explained that I can only do Fridays, and again there were sighs and visible frustration while the schedule was being reviewed. I also clarified that I'm in no rush--just that the appointments needed to be on the same day and on a Friday. A date was eventually given. I then offered to complete new x-rays if that would make scheduling easier, rather than transferring records from my previous dentist last year. I was told, sharply, that x-rays were not the issue--that because I haven't been seen in four years, an examination is required first. At that point I questioned the attitude being displayed, and was told that I was the one with the attitude. When I said I may need to go elsewhere if this was the tone of the interaction, the response was, essentially, "yeah, maybe you should." Guess Edelweiss doesn't need new patients. It's disappointing that this level of disrespect is how the practice chooses to represent itself.

He also takes the time to talk through things if you have questions or concerns. Actually, all the staff at Eilers have always been professional and worked efficiently. It can be hard to reschedule appointments here, but that's probably just because they are so popular.
