The sales staff was knowledgeable and courteous telling me everything I needed to know about granite and more. The yard is laded with granite slabs to pick from. You actually pick your slab(s), which was kind of fun. Depending on the size of the job, I was told how many slabs would be needed, and how many seams to expect. Once I selected my granite type, Uba Tuba, we then went through all slabs to find the two that most closely resembled each other in color definition. The sales rep was extremely patient with us as my wife and I never agree on anything. Once the slabs were selected, I was told when they could be delivered and installed, so I could coordinate with my kitchen cabinet contractor. They showed up on time and did a great job, with no problems. The seams are barely noticeable. Sorry the other reviewer had a bad experience. But mine was the complete opposite and I have recommended Top Line to family and friends. I give four stars, and I feel like I am being stingy, let's call it 4.5.

Do you think I could even get a return phone call or email from Boston/Cambridge area stores? The answer is NO. I emailed Chelmsford Fireplace to ask which models of Valor, Jotul, and Rais they had on the showroom floor. I had a clearly written returned email in ten minutes. I went up to Chelmsford and purchased a Valor stove within 15 minutes of arrival on a Saturday, and it was installed the following Friday. I knew this was a quality place as i entered the store. The store was crowded with customers, it was clean and organized, and the staff were attentive and knowledgeable. This is completely the opposite situation that I have found at other stores. If you want to speak to someone who knows their business and products, take that 30 minute ride up from Boston. I promise, it will be worth it. Since I am located in Somerville I am out of their installation area. No problem, they have The Fireplace Guys LLC out of Malden do their Boston installations. The installation was executed perfectly and complete in four hours. A fantastic overall experience.

I had called and had to wait days only to hear that they never got my message. I did call the owner, Corey, who called me back and heard my concerns around the service department communication. I will say that every person that CFC has been sent to my house was courteous and knowledgeable however getting in touch with them to schedule a visit was more effort than expected.
