I wish I had the same experience as the other reviewer for my mother. I needed someone to come in once a week to help her shower, change her sheets, visit a while, and do some light cleaning in her room. Not only did ComForCare change the price that was quoted me by phone (a significant increase per week), I put a $200 deposit down for 3 weeks of service. The caregiver just stopped coming after 3 weeks without contacting us or letting anyone know. I had to call asking if something was wrong. When I contacted the company, they said the caregiver had personal issues to deal with in Austin and said they would look for someone else. After a short while, they just ceased contact. No offer to refund the deposit, no contact about a potential replacement. I just stopped hearing from them. That was back in October and it's now April. Very, very disappointing. I want to add that Jayme was very nice and seemed supportive at first until I didn't hear back from them. If you need reliability this is NOT the company to choose for your loved one. read more
