I stopped by there this afternoon to complain about a blouse that was torn during the dry cleaning process. I have had this same bloused dry cleaned before without any issues. The manager would not even come out to talk to me. She relayed a message to me via cashier that I am responsible because I decided to get the blouse dry cleaned. Completely rude behavior for a manager! I asked for the owners work phone number and they would not give me that info. They finally gave me a general manager's phone number, Amy. I left a message for Amy but she has not returned my call yet. Not sure if it is a real number. I am planning on calling the owner at some point. They have lost a great customer and I will tell others about my experience. read more

The workes are very lazy and don't take their job serious I took in a whole weeks worth of work clothes to get heavy starch and I got them back and they have no starch at all! Fire them all do better I will go to a professional place next time read more

I had a funeral to attend last week unfortunately,and I thought I left my clothes at the cleaners already which I hadn't and they were in the back of my car, when I finally found them it was the day before the funeral and there was a Comet Cleaners same-day service I took it after the initial 10 AM time so it was ready the next day in the morning by lunch needless to say I attended my funeral thank you so much read more

Horrible. Took in a suit for regular dry cleaning. Got it back, huge creases left in the jacket from pressing. Basically ruined the jacket. Looks like it was left wadded up for a year. Do not recommend. read more

Although I have yet to use it, I certainly appreciate the convenience of the drive thru. For some reason dry cleaners are really expensive here in Midland (probably due to the limited amount of dry cleaning services in town) - however the service here is excellent and the prices here are cheaper than compared to another dry cleaners I used. On one occasion I brought in 8 items to dry clean and they were all ready by the next day. I wish they had a tailor though, then it would be my ultimate one-stop shop! read more

"Lost" my husband slacks for well over a month. I visited the location 4 times trying to get this situation fixed. On the 4th visit I present an estimated value of the slacks so I could be compensated. Somehow, this time, they were able to locate the slacks. Apparently they had been there the whole time! My favorite place to take my husbands work clothes! He likes for his shirts and pants to be EXTRA EXTRA HEAVY starched. You can emphasize on the extra and heavy at other places in the area and it still comes back lightly starched. Other places that I've tried were not only unsatisfactory- they were significantly more expensive. Service is great- if clothes are dropped off before 9am (give or take) then you can pick them up same day at around 7pm. That and their drive thru are my favorite services offered here. They have definitely gained a loyal customer! read more

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!! More than 10 articles of clothing were "lost" last week. The manager was unwilling to pay for my clothing after losing it. She would not give me the owners phone number and said "I don't have to answer to corporate" after I told her that I had called the corporate office. She often acted as though she was doing me a favor by offering me a discount on my LOST clothing. What a joke. Go somewhere else!!! read more

They did a great job, I got all of my garments back. I gave them 4 stars because They are high. I only used them because I needed same day service. I usually use iron press cleaners they do a good and are reasonably priced but it usually takes 2 to 3 days to get your clothes back but if you're not in a hurry save yourself some $$ and use iron press. read more

I took 9 shirts and 2 suits in to be dry cleaned, making sure to request "dry clean". I got my shirts back only to discover they had been laundered. The shirt labels clearly say "dry clean only" but was obviously ignored. Over $80.00 for dry cleaning? Ridiculous! This is the third time this has happened and each time more expensive. Obviously laundry is more costly than dry clean but wow! Is this the new con with this dry cleaner? You ask for one thing and they do the opposite so they can charge you more? Pay close attention to your receipts! Not going back! Time to find another dry cleaner. read more

Last week, I took a formal, black suit jacket and silk dress to the Midland Comet store. When I took back my items, I saw that the jacket was clean, but very stiff. The material has lost it's shine and smoothness. Over starched perhaps. The dress was completely ruined! It's a silk dress with metal studs. The dress lost it's softness, it's as stiff as cardboard and lost it's natural shine. They have broken one of the studs in half, and taken out and very badly GLUED them back! Yes, you read it right, GLUED! That store is so far the WORST dry cleaner I have ever come across in my life! I have a formal suit jacket and a silk dress that are reduced to NOTHING, thanks to them. read more

Used to be good. No idea what happened to the original owner, maybe he's too busy counting money now from all his stores. Anyway, burned a hole in some expensive slacks that had a zipper in the pocket. So hot, zipper doesn't work. Almost did it on a second pair of the same brand. Zipper is melted shut on those too. Took a brand new shirt in a week later, they ruined 4 buttons. It's a bunch of warm bodies, who don't give a crap, moving your stuff from poorly adjusted machine to machine. If you're an oilfield salesman who thinks triple starched wranglers are the height of fashion, and you're too lazy and self-important to do your own laundry, it's probably great. read more

Lost two shirts and over starched a shirt so bad it "broke" when I wore it. The manager told me she did not see my shirts on their cctv cameras so they were not going to pay for them. I told her that I was going to file a deceptive practice complaint and she told me she heard that from several customers and I could do what I needed to. This is a great place to take your clothing if you want to have them ruined, and treated like a child when you confront them on their mistake. Also at Coment Cleaners and Laundry the customer is always wrong they are incapable of making any mistakes read more
