5/5 Stars - Fantastic Experience at the Gilbert/Germann Branch!…read moreI've been banking with Arizona Financial for a while now, and I have to say--this branch on Gilbert and Germann has really improved and stands out as one of the best! Every visit feels welcoming and efficient, and I always leave feeling like the team is genuinely here to provide a positive experience. I'm sure a big part of that comes down to Linda's excellent management skills--she clearly sets a high standard and fosters a great team environment. The staff here are exceptional, and I want to give a shoutout to just a few who always go above and beyond: Jasmine, Trey, Sarah, Renata, and I can't forget Vanessa--she's always glowing with her beautiful smile and brings such a wealth of knowledge on even the most complex banking matters, she brings a ton of value. Whether it's helping with tricky transactions, answering questions patiently, or just making the process smooth and friendly, they make you feel valued as a member. Thank you to the entire team for all you do! You've turned what could be a routine banking stop into something I actually look forward to. Highly recommend this location to anyone in the Gilbert/Chandler area--keep up the amazing work!

So for months I've been thinking about moving away from Desert Financial because I have been less…read morethan satisfied with the overall service I get there plus I've always struggled with dealing with them for anything other than straight banking. So I did some research to find "the best credit union in Arizona" and after everything I've seen, OneAZ topped most lists. So I finally had the time and took the time to stop in to this branch. Well I walked in and, being in the service industry, the first thing I noticed was that most of the lights (all of the lights in the actual lobby and customer area) were off. Now I don't know about anyone else, but the impression I get when I see that is a place that is broke. And don't come at me with the whole "saving electricity" crap because I believe the fixtures were LED and you can run LED's with a piece of fruit. So then I noticed there were, I wanna say, 8 windows? But all but one of the windows were void of CSR's and only one person was helping people. Now I'm standing there at 1:45 in the afternoon on a Thursday waiting on this one CSR when another customer arrived. Now I get it, I legitimately waited between 5 and 10 minutes, which doesn't seem like a lot, but when it's taken me about a month since my decision to even find any time to get in there? 5 to 10 minutes is a long time. I only even saw one other employee in the bank at all and she was in a little office on the phone. I decided I didn't want to take a chance that if I ever needed help, I would be placed on hold standing in the lobby so I turned and headed to the door. The CSR that WAS working must have finished with the person he was working with because he yelled to me as I was hitting the door that he could help me now. Needless to say, I just kept walking and also needless to say, I guess my search continues to find a new financial institute. Or maybe I just stay at Desert Financial because they seem to be the lesser of two evils.

Upon walking into the doors the "manager" would have been next to help me in line, instead of helping me she walked past me and said out loud "don't think I didn't forget about you" and entered into her office. Knowing we had issues before, her condensating attempt at rage baiting. I ignored the comment and went forward to work with the teller. The teller was polite and easy to work with but she had to ask the manager to come over and see when the rest of the money will be available because of a "hard hold". When the manager walked over she couldn't help herself to again for the second time mention the incident that happen 1 week ago. She, out of no where. Starts talking about last week, I wasn't trying to talk about it, she continued to antagonize me and then said that I would be receiving a letter in the mail that my bank will be canceling my account. I told her I'm selling a 700k house, no loan. That money would be hitting my account soon. She replied "we don't need your money". Emotions-aside you're paid to be professional at all times. Like who does that kind of back and forth in a professional workplace. A bank of all places, in front of 10-15 customers and other workers. She had a great opportunity to be nice but instead wanted more chaos. Talk about a bank. She's a tyrant and anyone that reports her or leaves a comment. She would likely bully them for weeks. That's not professionalism. Lowest class manager employee in all of global, Alaska or tcf history. I'll be cleaning out my account, hopefully she can mind her business tomorrow and shove it.
