I'VE been banking with US BANK for years but never experience such horrible customer service!!!!! Perhaps, it's just myself feeling like a Karen after stopping here but, this location needs to train on customer service. When there's a customer inside of the bank, the banker's should give 100% of their attention to the customer and should not be talking amongst themselves about things that are not related to the customer until that customers transactions have been addressed for accuracy and their ID, Debit cards have been returned. I stopped here in a hurry to get in and out as I had other things to do and there were only 1 other customer inside which the person helping him, was concentrating on her customer. The banker who helped me was SLOWWWWWW, and appeared confused and lost. I've been to this location before and each time I stop here, I tell myself to never go back to this location because of poor customer service. First, I've never had someone ask for my ID and Debit card, as well as, send a text to my phone for a code... concerning to me Other locations I've gone to, are professional, get you in and out and THEN they would chit chat with you and their peers "AFTER" they have completed your transactions, and returned your ID and CC. The Lady I worked with, not only, was not concentrating, she failed to return my ID and CC after the transaction... you're supposed to return those items immediately after, especially considering you didn't need both. I now, have to wait until Monday for management to call me. This lady not only took FOREVER , she appeared to be glazing at the system dating off and taking her sweet time but then, she kept stopping to chit chat about what they were having for lunch with another peer. Who does that???? Ughhhh I'm all for discussing food but only after handling money and transactions should you entertain the other sideline conversations. Please train this staff to be professional at all times as they're working with customers MONEY, ID, CREDIT CARDS AND DEBIT CARDS IN WHICH THERE IS NO ROOM FOR MISTAKES!!! Frustrating and irritating! I really like this tempe US Bank branch. I was. disappointed in Wellsfargo in Scottsdale. When I couldn't go In to my own Wells Fargo bank, They locked the Lobby during normal business hours. Worse I couldn't speak to anyone because the drive up windows were locked. The handicapped ramp was to steep to use by my wheelchair so I had to limp up to the walk up teller. I went right to see someone US bank and this bank with so handicapped friendly. This Tempe location is amazing! BANKING IS NOT THAT DIFFICULT FOR USBANK -Wells & Chase need to fix themselves! Had a strange experience today but US Bank proved themselves to me to be #1 and the best in the area. I was looking to open a Trush checking account after selling one of my properties and WellsFargo, & Chase was not able to help me for days! I told both of them that "Banking is just not that difficult".. I was with Wells as one of my banks for over 44 years and they left me down. Chase I have had & have accounts also for many years. Now I found out what is the right bank and it is USBank for sure. Jocelyn & Amy were fantastic and did exactly what I expected from a Bank. Not a full service branch!!! Do not go here! Very rude the teller did not look up my account when I went in with a very small check made out to my husband. She made me sign the back which was crazy because it's a joint account. Then I wanted to deposit a jar full of change and they do not off that service. But they offered to give me paper rolls to do it myself. I said you guys say you are a full service branch do this for me a 20 year customer. US BANK IS HOLDING OUR TITLE HOSTAGE!!! Yes that is correct. We cannot register our vehicle because they refuse to do their job by sending the title to the MVD. We have visited the physical bank location 4 times and called one dozen times getting different answers each time. At this time no one actually knows where the title is and the amount of avoidance and bullsh*tery is comical. It's been 5 months of this.. we cannot use vehicle as we cannot for the life of us get this registered. Legal action will be pursued. As a leinholder this sort of stuff should be very basic and easy!!! read more

I've been banking at this location since 2017 and have no qualms. Just recently, I worked with Itzel to get my name changed on my accounts since I got married, and I brought my husband in to add him to my checking & savings. I remember that Itzel helped me open my accounts back in 2017. She was very personable and conversational as we went through the process - I think it took maybe 30 minutes at the most? She really is very sweet. And anytime I've gone in for more simple transactions, it's always a very quick process with any of the tellers. I'm very happy to be a US Bank customer. read more

The manager at this Branch Jeanine Morin was extremely rude. I am appalled and shocked that she us the branch manager. She talked to me like I was 5 years old she was so degrading acting like she was the queen of the bank. My employer has a merchant account at this location. Which requires me to make daily deposits. Every time I come here I get conflicting bs policy's. One teller says one thing, the other something different. The tellers are always rude, the location is under staffed. You have trainees making mistakes on customers account. I always seem to have to wait at least 20 minutes for a deposit. I have worked with merchant accounts through Wells Fargo, b of a, etc etc. with zero issues or complaints. I am extremely dissatisfied with the lack of communication, organization and service I receive with this company. I will be discussing moving our merchant accounts to another institution. read more

I went in to this branch to settle an account. My teller was the manager and I asked to verify the balance due. I was told it was handled by a different department, but she made no effort to call. It was bad experience for a good cause. read more

This branch is very well located and not far from the 101 freeway. Also, since it is in a great shopping center with stores, restaurants, and a big Harkins Theater, it is a place that you can combine with other shopping. Since the shopping center is relatively new, the building is up to date as well. Parking is not a hassle at all. In fact, you can park halfway between the Harkins and the US Bank and save gas. If you have been to some other banks with grumpy tellers this place will be refreshing. Yes, I know that they are supposed to be upbeat but they genuinely seem to enjoy their jobs. read more

If you had asked me to review this bank 10 to 3 years ago I would have given 5 stars. However, in the last 2-3 years the staff and turn over at this location is insane. No one stays long and I can see why. The culture is terrible. From start to finish there it seems no one wants to work here. I don't care if you hate your job, this is a service industry and as such you should smile and fake it til you make. I have had repeat issues in the last couple years but if you want more- I will tell you about the complaint I have already submitted to corporate. The staff will help you, begrudgingly but not eagerly. When I asked to open another savings account and follow a procedure given to me by another US Bank manager in a different branch, the manager briefly listened and then verbally denied my request was possible verbally and told me I could wait an hour or so..... for her to look into it. Then after I took care of another matter, I was told 30 minutes. I had my baby with me so I didn't want to wait when the attitude was already unhelpful and the outlook grim. Instead I called my other US bank manager who relayed the same info and process to me and I repeater her words and was again denied help in general. I left the branch that day knowing I would be moving branches, and calling corporate. Stay away from this location! read more
