I have been a Nextlink customer since 2016 when I moved to Waxahachie, TX. They have been reliable…read moreand prompt to respond when I have called in or dropped them an email to support. Recently I noticed intermittent throughput issues since a large wind storm came through a few months ago. I reached out to them and felt it might be good to have someone come and look at the antenna and confirm it wasn't loose. The technician, via email, told me that they had determined there was a cross signal between me and the tower where my radio connected. They suggested we have a technician come out and replace the radio with a different model using a different technology, which should alleviate the cross chatter that was giving me fits. Despite their busy schedule due to the storms in the area, they were able to accommodate my availability. They determined a technician would arrive between 1:00 and 5:00 pm and sure enough around 1:30 pm, I received a call from Josh, who was 10 or 15 minutes away from me. He arrived around 1:45 p.m. and had a second installer in tow, I believe his name was Corey or Cody, who was in training. Despite the sweltering heat and the height of the roof, about 25 ft, they climbed on up and determined the new radio would be the best option. They told me it would take approximately an hour and that was okay with me, as I was currently using my phone hotspot to prevent any disconnection while I worked remote. Sure enough, within a little over an hour, they knocked on the door, came inside and replaced the POE adapter and started confirming my connection. The throughput exceeded my expectation, as did the professionalism and attention to detail they exhibited. The two installer/technician's action, attitude androfesionalism spoke volumes about the quality of individuals they employ. Good job, Nextlink. Keep up the good work. Signed, a raving fan!

Providing me good service in rural Virginia, where my cell phone often fails…read more Can't create a wireless signal, but will help you utilize what signal you have. Cheaper AND Faster than my previous wireless internet service. Very helpful in getting me started. Can't think of anything bad to write about them.

I was not happy with their service, customer service or policies…read more I feel like their policies do not take care of the consumer trying to establish a good internet connection, test their equipment as per their guidance or see if the service will work. It did not work for me because I have "double pane" windows. I cancelled the service and was unable to get a refund for a 300 Gb plan when less than 50 GB was used. I feel the less than 50 GB used was part of the "set up" process the company asks you to follow and set my family up for failure. I posted an original reply here and contacted BBB. Then was threatened with a lawsuit for slander. I changed my reply to only reflect the facts and how I felt dealing with this organization. The truth is, I think the service and company are trash and will not be intimidated by their threats. The 1st Amendment and anti-SLAPP laws protect me from their vial threats and intimidation. I do not recommend them for use. Advise you to conduct research on other companies and their guarantees. I found one from TX that works and had exceptional customer service. They continue to threaten legal action, lie about me contacting them and have had this review removed once already. Shameful. I do not expect a refund or any additional "action" from them. Just for the truth to be out there to help others looking for rural internet.

The connection is alright and we haven't had any problems with customer service until today…read more The guy who came out was very opinionated. I simply allowed him to fix our wifi and noted his complaints as he uttered them. He advised multiple times that we move and complained about having to come out to our home on a Friday afternoon before Labor Day weekend. He even said that we owed him "a whiskey or something" and said that coming out to our street to help us and our neighbors is the worst. It's really not my problem if he doesn't like his job or enjoy the location of our home. He doesn't have to live here. And from now on, please do us all a favor and send someone else. I'm sure he would be okay with the arrangement as well.
