Comcast/Xfinity is the best internet provider that I have found as far as the speed & reliability of their coverage & internet access. As far as contacting a person when service is needed they are pathetic & severely lacking. Zero Stars Everything is automated. The recorded responses don't give you the option you need to talk to a person for technical support. I recently bought a new modem & router. Whenever you change the modem you need to contact Comcast to send a signal to the new modem. This can prove to be a lesson in futility. I called repeatedly to an endless loop that didn't provide the options I needed. If your already an existing customer FUGET ABOUT IT. Your kind of F-ucked if you need help. I even tried to call as a new customer to get a person hoping I could get transferred through the correct channels. As a potential new customer I went 2 for 2 w/an instant connection to a person. As soon as they knew I didn't need new service they hung up. WTF? read more

Is zero stars an option? Or negative infinity stars? Giovanni the manager is an absolutely incompetent pathetic person who was completely unhelpful and rude. He lies and misinforms people. This company forces elderly people to come to physical stores to resolve issues that should be handled over the phone or online. First they say call the number - then they say go to the store - then at the store again they give me a number to call. Joke of a company. Went to the store today because the text messaging and phone call I made both said I had to go to the store to fix the issue that Giovanni (the pathetic excuse of a manager) said yesterday we could handle this issue at home only to be told at home to go back to the store - which I just did today and spoke to this rude incompetent "manager" named Giovanni who wrote this phone number down and said to call them now. When I attempted to have him help me with his company's issues by assisting me with the phone call to that number he threatened to call the police to trespass me from his building. Xfinity is a joke of a company. A $78 billion dollar technology company that can't make simple account changes without dragging 80 plus year-olds out to stores only to be told to call a phone number which we tried before being told to go to the store! read more

I gave this review on google, but xfinity as a whole is just terrible I'll post here too. Repeated Miscommunication, Poor Service, and Zero Accountability My experience with Xfinity Mobile has been, without exaggeration, one of the most frustrating and disappointing customer-service experiences I've ever had. The issues stem from three areas: the in-store experience, the phone/virtual support team, and the opaque "third-party" partners Xfinity relies on. The lack of communication between these groups creates a cycle where customers suffer for mistakes Xfinity refuses to take responsibility for. 1. In-Store Experience (This Location in Particular) The staffing and overall service at this location have been consistently disorganized during multiple visits. It routinely requires several employees to assist one customer, yet no one seems fully informed about the process they are handling. A. Phone Trade-In Experience: When my elderly father and I traded in our previous devices--both in perfect working condition--the store transferred his data and told him he was "good to go." They failed to inform him that the phone needed to be reset and have the passcode removed before sending it to their third-party evaluator. As a result, the device was rejected and returned for being "locked," despite not being damaged in any way. We then spent over three months going back and forth between the store, Xfinity support, and their unnamed third-party vendor, only to be told there was nothing they could do. My father, a senior citizen, was ultimately stuck paying for the phone entirely due to incomplete instructions and misinformation provided by Xfinity staff. B. Apple Watch Service Issue: During a recent visit for an Apple Watch issue, once again multiple employees were assisting one customer, and the associate helping me was multitasking despite my request that he complete one task at a time due to previous errors. Unfortunately, the transaction was still processed incorrectly and assigned to the wrong account--creating yet another layer of complications. 2. Phone & Virtual Support The phone support team appears to be completely disconnected from the in-store system. They cannot look up claims, cannot see store-related transactions, and cannot contact the store directly--because the physical store, unbelievably, has no phone line. Calling for help does not save time; it adds more confusion. Each department has visibility into only a small part of the account, and no one has full access to resolve issues created by the store. 3. The Mysterious "Third-Party" Xfinity's reliance on unnamed third-party partners creates even more problems. Representatives avoid clarifying who they actually work for, whether they are part of Xfinity, insurance, or an external evaluator. This lack of transparency makes it nearly impossible to track down responsibility when errors arise. In my most recent call, I provided every piece of documentation--including receipts, dates, and claim details--only to be told that my claim number was not associated with my account. This was due to incorrect information entered by the store. And once again, the burden was placed entirely on me to resolve an error I did not make. Overall I rarely write reviews, but the level of disorganization, miscommunication, and lack of accountability across every part of Xfinity Mobile has been unacceptable. Customers should not have to spend months correcting the company's mistakes, nor should elderly customers be misled through incomplete instructions that cost them money. The store blames the phone support team. The phone support team blames the store. Both blame a vague "third party." And ultimately, the customer pays the price...financially, timely and emotionally. I strongly caution anyone considering Xfinity Mobile to be prepared for fragmented support, inconsistent information, and very limited accountability. read more

Went to the store and 2 associates and the manager (nico)were talking for like 2 baseball inning about some girl at work. Went to ask ? About the account and there like your not on the new system. You were on the old he didn't even want to check the system to see if I was on it , or even help me he like just type xfinity. Com it felt like he just want to go back and talk about that girl. read more

This store and company in general is horrible. They take your name down but don't go in chronological order. It's mind boggling how incompetent and unprofessional the staff is. I went into the xfinity store on aug 8 because my phone was not connecting to the network. they got it to work but i had to go back the next day. this continued with me going to the store for the same reason 24 times. i ended up buying a new phone on sept 23. now because it has not been active for 60 days i cannot move to another carrier. i did buy another phone from another company because i am on call at times and i cannot take the chance with not being available. oct 23 xfinity did unlock my phone but who knows if it will continue to connect. i had no idea you couldn't go to another carrier if your new phone has not been active for 60 days. no one tells you that. i also spoke to their fraud team 3 times because someone put 2 i phones on my account. i have an android. never had an i phone. nothing was done to remove the fraudulent phones and numbers. read more

I had to go to this store yesterday since it is now one of the closest to my house i have been here before 1 time to return equipment had a bad experience that time as well but i figure different day different people. I have been with comcast since 2015 i had no problems with the Schamburg store except that now is 40 mins away but i rather drive all the way over there then to deal with the incompetence of this store employees that give the company a bad name like come on i pay over $200 a month your service is not cheap or free for your employees to wanna act like they are doing me a favor customer service is horrible avoid this location or they may racially profile you and make you wait hours read more

The staff is rude unprofessional and disorganized. The wait times are ridiculous .. I asked if I could get a text once I was next in queue and they said sure .. Terrible communications; impossible to reach them, especially by phone. You can wait literally hours, and it's very hard to reach a human, they do everything possible to route you to complain via their website and robots. Their wi-fi, internet, cable TV service is good, but their prices are high and they load up the customer with lots of extra "fees". They constantly (often monthly) raise their prices VERY significantly (in my case, recently approx. 25%), without warning, and the customer has no recourse; they won't lock in a good price for any significant time period. They make it hard to discontinue them and switch to a different provider. If you can find an alternative service provider, you should probably use them rather than Comcast/Infinity. read more

I visited the store and worked with David Velazquez, he was so great in making my decision to switch over to Xfinity mobile so smooth and anxiety free. He was patient, detailed in answering and explaining everything. I also saw a young lady, don't remember her name, but she has the perfect eye brows, you will know who she is. She was also very helpful in assisting with getting a second phone all set up. I highly recommend this store. I think this is so bad I can't wait for my contract to end to get out of this hot mess. If you get this service rent their router. They told me it does not matter. I bought the middle one they recommended a Motorola that got good reviews. I have problems with TV. The shows in my mix were supposed to be comparable to the ATT package I had, no way it sucks. If you select free to me on the channel guide it still gives me all the channels I don't have. The voice is always out of sync. I am sure this is not most people's experience with this, but I was unhappy with how much ATT was, so I changed. If I had a redo I just get internet and a Roku or something like that google tv what ever. The installation was bad they had to redo it and the second guy couldn't get out fast enough. I am so disappointed with this and usually when I read read reviews like this I think the person must be at fault to some extent. Do you need training to watch the freakin TV? I hope not. Anyway for me this has been the worst. If you go with xfinity make sure to rent the router and be clear on what you are getting. They gave me a channel list I glanced at it. I just thought it would be the same, my fault. Trusting them. Just be sure of what you are signing up for. Consider internet only and get tv another way, my nieghbor says he likes it for internet and streaming. My experience with this nightmare! read more

I am very, very disappointed in the customer service. I have called multiple times and continue to "get the run around" from team members who insist on upselling when they try to tell you that you are getting "the best rate!" My building provides Comcast Xfinity as they have a contract with the corporation and part of the package of living in a unit in my building is getting basic cable. Yet, my plans have ranged from $90.00 to $150.00 a month-each time I call-I find out that someone had added a land line telephone to my account or charged $10.00 for HD Cable a month or that I was charged multiple times for movies that I had purchased...it is completely ridiculous not to mention unethical and complete "rip off." read more

I am not sure why people are using this platform to blast Comcast. This is a retail location, not the service source/provider. Just recently switched from ATT to Comcast and wanted to make sure I have decent coverage around. Decided to purchase the xpods; the transaction took a lot longer than it needed to; as no matter why you're in the store: everyone gets in the same queue. I wish they sold these on Amazon and I could avoid the retail experience all together. Then had to wait while the "computer started up" so my transaction could be completed. Not sure why such a simple transaction had to take 15 minutes in the store. read more

Before you consider Xfinity mobile please read my brief experience with their phone service. I have two phones with Xfinity mobile. A galaxy S9 (from Xfinity) & an iPhone 7 (that I transferred services from sprint to Xfinity). The iPhone is paid off and the galaxy isn't and they were on the gig by gig plan. In November $590 was withdrawn from my account by Xfinity (oh yeah, you're forced into autopay), although that bill was scary, it was a true reflection of my overuse of data. Nov 11th I called, spoke with a rep and requested they switch the galaxy to unlimited. The rep told me to call back after the 14th because they are switching systems. I called back after as suggested and made the switch. Moving forward to December I received another high bill in the approximate price of $570. I called spoke with a rep and was informed I overused data again (I'm pissed). I asked HOW, when I have unlimited and the iPhone shares the galaxy's data when I'm out? The rep said, oh looks like it wasn't switched & I'll switch it for you. I informed him how and which phone I wanted on unlimited, he stated he understood. (I'm tired of typing, so I'm going to speed this up) A week later I call to follow up on the inept reps work and low and below, both phones were on unlimited (face palm). Last week I called & spoke with a gentleman and he stated he will make the switch and credit me 50 funky ass dollars on my NEXT bill. I will follow up on his work next week. read more
