Ok, to echo some of my fellow reviewers, it's important I immediately clarify this is about THIS location, NOT Comcast as a whole. This location is the polar opposite of all their other support options. Now I've never found much nice to say or tweet about Comcast; insane support technician service 'windows', automated walk thru hell fire to speak to a human on the phone, inaccessible/unusable websites and last (for now) but not least - made up marketing words ('It's Comcastic'). Well whatever they thought 'Comcastic' means, I'm guessing these ladies personify it. Scanned the back of fried devices and replaced with helpful info. So friendly, quick and informative. If you live on the island and have the option of going TO them for support, do it and save yourself countless hours and mental anguish. read more

Exfinity company ran a cable above ground across my yard and driveway, and across my neighbors yard and driveway. It has been sitting there for over two months. I waited 2 1/2 weeks after it was laid down and called Comcast. They sent someone out a week later. That person said the line needed to be buried. He said he was going to put in a work order but I had to be patient. Utility companies have been out here marking the lawns with paint and flags since he came. They had to come out a few times over the last 4-5 weeks. I just called again and asked what is the plan. I said it's hard to mow a lawn with flags in it, and it is a tripping hazard for my elderly relatives who come and go. The person I spoke to did put in another work order for me. However, I was told that since I don't have Comcast, I should ask my neighbors with Comcast to call and ask for the line to be buried. I asked why, and was told it might get taken care of sooner. REALLY?!?! Way to go. I feel like I am being told- we only care about our paying customers and we don't care about inconveniencing non-paying people or the safety of neighborhoods. It's funny bc Comcast had been to my house several months ago asking me to change providers and switch to them. I said I was happy with TDS. My neighbors who have Comcast have told me they have been having issues since getting Comcast. Guess I dodged that bullet. Come on Comcast- be good neighbors and don't create safety hazards. read more

Comcast/infinity Perhaps the worst company for Customer service in recent years. Company just lost a major class action law suit because of their actions. This company will knowingly lie to you, deceive you or do anything to get your money. Most of their technicians don't speak English well and can't be spoken with. They have little training! It can take months to right a problem! No one cares! If possible, use someone else any one else! read more

I believe everyone hates their cable service at one time or another! Well we are upset our bill went up so we cane in to see if they could lower it! There is alot of competition for internet/tv now. Isabelle was able to lower our bill! read more

The service in this place is horrible. They don't care about the customer. I have been an Xfinity customer for 20 years and I cancelled it because of them. read more

Thank you Raymond for your kind help. The other representatives have been very helpful.

If I can give them a negative I would Now this my problem with Xfinity first let's start off with customer service horrible they don't know what they're talking about and then will you telling them what your problem is they make it like you call the problem that's number one number two I call because I was approved for the ACP program for my internet did all that pay my bill waited 2 months before they apply my credit and now that it's time to apply my credit they claiming the ACP program pulled my national number back stating that I have ACP or something else which I know is a lie cuz this is the only thing I applied for that what's for the internet so for me Comcast Xfinity are the worst they're liars and they try to make it seem like the customer is in the wrong when it's their service read more

If you live out here on the island your choice of service providers is pretty limited. Furthermore getting Comcast on the phone is an absolute pain. Where are these phone banks? -Packistan? English as a second language with a terrible accent over a bad connection. However, we here in Fernandina have a secret weapon. The Comcast service center on 14th is excellent. Once in a while you get someone who doesn't know much, but mostly it's like getting a relative who will fight for you and knows all the tricks. Very personal help from a number of gals that genuinely care. Put down the phone and go to the center (maybe bring donuts) you will get the problems fixed. read more

This is about Comcast IN GENERAL Didn't have internet connection for over a month and contacted support on multiple occasions, no fix. Contract expired so when I picked a new contract (which then had to submit my request 3 times because they never processed it although I got email confirmation about it) still charged me $30 MORE than what my original bill even was! Had to be on the phone with support for over two hours and talk to over 4 people to be told the most they can do is give me a refund for $14 for a month of internet I DID NOT USE, did NOT get assistance on fixing and on a bill which was increased from the ORIGINAL amount after putting in the ticket request over THREE TIMES and on top of all that having to be on the phone for over 2 hours because employees can't simply handle transfers themselves or even try to resolve the issue because it's easier to just tell you to call back or repeat the same thing 10 times in hopes that you'll hang up. Every single month it's something new with this company and it gets so exhausting read more

O' where do I start? The ladies that work inside this Comcast service Center are FANTASTIC! I had to visit it twice while having new instillation issues. The technicians no longer carry manuals to the DVR boxes or the newer remotes, so the technicians give you what they call "the 5second crash course" - seriously this is what he called it, on how to use your cable, DVR, and remote. As someone coming from Direct TV - this was like learning an entire new operating system on a computer - because that is exactly what you are doing! Thankfully the wonderful ladies in the office provided me with two user manuals of both the DVR and the Remotes along w apologies on behalf of Comcast for my tech not providing them. You would think it wld be common sense stuff, but these new remotes are very different, as is the entire operation of the DVR from my usual normal use. I had to go in a second time to inquire as where I could get a phone book, as I am new to this area and there is no local phone company & Comcast provides our phone service. Again, they were very pleasant & understanding, even as I was quite frazzled from a crazy day and rushing to avoid a monster storm. They quickly provided me with the number to call to order copies of our local yellow pages & phone book, wishing me safe travels back home in the upcoming downpour. I want to be totally clear - these ladies in this office offer some of the best customer service we have ever delt with in a cable office- ever. Now let me say - Comcast contracts individual contractors from a Comcast owned company called CTIS. The actual installers attempt to do their best but are held to so many restrictions and time restraints that it's quantity over quality. My tech wanted to do all he could to help, but his Supervisor- who gets big bonuses for keeping hours down, appointments short, etc - was keeping him from performing his full job duties. The supervisor came to my home when I refused to let the tech leave with the job unfinished to explain to me that they had other appt to keep and Couldn't finish the job in the two hours THEY allotted to my service call for new installation. He actually was yelling at me in my own home. I asked him three times to stop. And No, I was not concerned that they had another appointment. I didn't restict them to two hours. So, be aware, be informed. Know your situation, request a longer appointment time up front. I enjoy all the bells & whistles Comcast offers, but not at the cost of shotty service, very high prices and crappy installs. I still have a wire running through my beautiful new home that they have yet to call w my appt time to come correct - 3 weeks later. The office staff offers an amazing standard of customer care despite the technical issues. Greatest of Luck!! read more

Walking into the Comcast Store yesterday I was upset that my newly installed Internet service was not working and I had been unable to return my old box.. Anna was wonderful. She popped my old box into a red Comcast shopping bag directing me a few blocks away to the UPS store there they put it in a special box and sent it off to Comcast at no charge. I now have a super bag for groceries. Anna wrote out instructions on how to restart the Internet. She also requested a visit from one of their senior technicians. In less than 24 hours he told us that we needed to upgrade a piece of our equipment. Tanks Anna. read more

This review is specifically about this location and NOT the Comcast company as a whole, that being said...... Best experience I've ever had when dealing with Comcast (been a customer for a VERY long time). The folks here are friendly, seem to know what's going on and are very helpful when dealing with billing issues, equipment issues or questions in general. If you could take these folks and replicate them for the phone-in help desk, you'd really have something there. The parking lot isn't very big, nor the building, but I'm usually in/out so fast, it doesn't matter. read more

THE WORST! Called to see if I could establish service at my house. After a 30-minute hold, I got a Rude, Lifeless, Customer Service rep. I asked if they provided service at my address. She transferred me...(not sure why "Press 1 for New Service" could not answer that question!) Another 20-minute hold only to be transferred to an answering machine!!! Uggggh! Comcast just fell off my list of choices!!! read more

Comcast or Xfinity customer service does not exsist. When I moved they said that my cable bill would be $20 a month instead of $40 has not changed in 6 months. I have gone by the local store and call in, no use. I can not even get them to list the correct address on my account. I just spent 40 mins try to chat so I can talk to someone about adding tv. But, I can not get my address corrected so I can not have cable tv. Xfinity must be over charging everyone if they will not even talk with you to make more money. read more
