One star is one too many! Our summer house didn't have good service, so we made an appt. Had a service guy come out and told us a booster would help. We bought a 3 set booster, had two more service men come to get our fast speed working, we were at a 9 for speed...
After the third service person and hours on hold trying to set up the appts, we finally had the best we were going to get without hiring a private company to hardwire the house (which we are doing). Anyway, after all that, we wanted to return the boosters because they weren't going to help since it's more the wiring, so tried to return them. What a fiasco that was! After talking hours to endless agent, I got Marianne. Although she couldn't help, she was a top rate customer service person who did her very best to assist and even followed up with me. All the others, and there were many, hung up on me or disconnected me. I finally insisted to speak to a supervisor. No one wants or is willing to get you to a supervisor but I finally got one. He, too, informed me that it was 10 days past the return date and that I should try to return it to the local Xfinity store. I told him we already tried that and were turned away. They kept saying there was nothing they can do because it was past the 30 days order date! Did they not know we're in a pandemic and issues getting mail are rampant??? Yes, but Didn't care. We ordered the devices 40 days ago and they have a 30 day return!!!
He suggested I go back to the store since I was there before the 30 days were up. It was like being in a bad dream! No one would help, it was "policy" and nothing they could do!
Went back to the store and was turned away again but this time insisted they talk to a supervisor and take it back. After about a 30 min wait, they FINALLY agreed to return it!
The treatment I received from the 1800xfinity was/is atrocious! You can tell they have a monopoly and don't care because they are the only game in town! I will send a shout out to Marianne though. read more
