we ordered combo's pizza for a meeting of about 30 people and there food was a hit!!! i was able to speak to the owners (lorena) a few days before our meeting and place the order very easily. she even gave me her cell in case we needed to get a hold of her and she wasn't at the store. unlike a lot of other places combo's doesn't charge for delivery which made us want to be more generous with our tip. we ended up ordering 8 pizzas and a half tray of salad and everyone had enough to eat. they have a lot of cool pizzas you can't find at most places... carne asada pizza!!! they supplied us with plates, napkins, utensils, peppers/ cheese. we were blown away when lorena came and helped deliver our order. now that's some amazing customer service!!!! can't recommend this place enough. excellent food, stellar customer serice... what more can you ask for? read more

I ordered calzones through GrubHub for pick up. GrubHub gave me an estimated wait time of 60-70 minutes for my order. Less than a minute after the order goes through, I get a phone call from the restaurant asking when I would like to pick up our order because they wanted to make sure it was hot and fresh when I got there. I told them I would pick it up ASAP and it was ready by the time I got there. The calzones were DELIGHTFUL! Soft dough...crunchy outside with the cheese, yummy ingredients inside. I couldn't have asked for a better meal! As a first-time patron, the customer service and quality of ingredients has officially made me a future repeat customer! Thank you Combos staff! Wow. The folks at Combo's are so nice! I am travelled from Michigan for work and was looking for a place with great pizza. I called ahead and asked for something special. They had no problem whipping something up quick for me. I had a thin crust, 10" "Specialties". It was basically a deluxe. I loved it. Cutest was perfect, so was the sauce. The toppings were good too. This place just became my top pick for pizza in the Fullerton region. read more

First time eating here, I placed A phone order for the XL Pizza and wing combo. Pretty good stuff. The pizza was good, a little thinner than I'm used too but still delicious. The wings were good and saucy. They have good ranch for the wings and offered cheese, crushed pepper, and plates. The woman at the counter was very nice and so was the gentleman who took my phone order. Looked like a family run business to me. We'll be back again! read more

In my many years of life I've eaten more pizza than I care to remember or admit. I've had good pizza and I've had bad pizza, but there are very few times that I can remember having great pizza. Combos Pizza is one of the few times I've had GREAT pizza. I usually stick to the big chains because of convenience, but I decided to give combos a try and wow, am I glad I did. I kept it simple and ordered one pepperoni and a second pizza with pepperoni, sausage and jalapenos. The overall experience was excellent! The pizza was delivered hot and fresh, the crust crispy but still delicious and chewy at the same time, the sauce was wonderful, and the toppings were plentiful. This will definitely be my new go to pizza spot. It looks like I'm going to have to put my diet on hold a little while longer, because I can't wait to give more of combos creations a try. read more

I was introduced to this place by a friend and it was the best thing she has ever done for me. No one makes cheesy garlic bread as good as they do. It is rich in flavor. The texture and crunch of the bread is perfect. The amount of cheese given is amazing. I will be returning. I had their chicken Alfredo pasta a couple times but I wasn't that big of fan by it. Nothing was wrong with it, I am just so used to eating olive gardens pasta. It is still delicious tho! I will be returning and they follow covid regulations. I love their workers! The pizza tastes great, and I assume it got here on time. My main issue is that no one heard a knock. At all. We were waiting in the living (right next to the door) with windows open, and we didn't hear anything. I only found the pizza because I checked the app, and it said delivered, so that prompted me to open the front door. When I opened the pizza box, a fly flew out, which I guess is because it was sitting there for awhile. I requested it to be a contactless delivery, but I didn't mean for them to leave the pizza and go without letting anyone know. Also, I had requested the pizza be left on one of two columns outside my door (about 4 feet tall), and it was left on the dirty ground. In the future, please follow directions and knock LOUDLY, and also ring the door bell. Again, the pizza tastes good. I just wish I didn't have to have see that fly on my lukewarm food that was sitting outside for 20 minutes. read more

Well, fast forward to this year...and HE was the one who suggested we finally give it a try! We are SO glad we listened to him! The pizza here reminds me of the kind of pizza I would eat in Italy. Rocco's pie was pretty good, but the ricotta didn't go well with it in my opinion. The Fuoco was not good at all. It was so dry to eat. I see the idea they were tying to go for; however, the execution was poor. There was so much arugula on ours that I literally couldn't taste anything else. It was too overpowering and bitter. The shaved parmigiano was ok as well. This just tasted like something scrapped together lazily. I had dropped my pink beats headphones under the car as I was leaving, and the very nice worker came out to help me get it. I couldn't thank him enough! Just goes to show what kind of people this establishment has. Thank you to this entire team, I cannot wait to come back!

I got the idea from a beloved colleague who had her going away party last year here. You can wear super casual clothes bc the vibes are low-key and relaxed. We had a party of about 17 + in our adults only for happy hour reserved for 4:15 - 7 PM to celebrate the launch of our 2nd year together. We ordered a variety of apps and pizza flavors. For apps, the zucchini fries with ranch dressing were BOMB! Our group also enjoyed the lemon pepper and teriyaki wings, tossed just right, not too saucy. Let's talk about their pizzas and pies: deep dish pepperoni, vegetarian, margherita cheese, pepperoni (A+ curl on the pep), buffalo chicken, and the star finale, chicharrones topping - pizzas (ALL in Extra Large) and as the came in, the waitresses and water brought it out piping hot! The cheese pull was real and long, the sauce was even, and the dough wasn't too chewy or too thick, just right. The person on the phone reserving and taking my order before we even arrived, was super nice to me. When we got there, people can order the own items at the register. The servers are super friendly and their HH "refills" kept coming. The ambiance is SUPER CHILL and loud. Games on TV screens, air hockey for those who don't like to talk to who is there, but just play. I'm glad small businesses like these still exist in NOC.

The place itself is on the smaller side with limited seating, so in my opinion it's definitely more of a takeout spot. Grab your pizza, take it home, and enjoy!

Tony's Little Italy "authentic" Chicago Deep Dish Pizza is a $10 pizza masquerading as a $42 pizza…read more Tony's "Chicago-Style" (it only looks like one) is closer to Little Caesar's than a true Chicago masterpiece. I tried Tony's Little Italy Pizza in Placentia for the first time and I can attest that THIS IS IN NO-WAY AN "AUTHENTIC CHICAGO DEEP DISH PIZZA" as advertised. It's not even close. I can't fault the enthusiasm of family frontmen like Taylor or his Uncle, Tony, for their contagious enthusiasm for their product, but all other comparisons end there. I lived in Chicago for more than a decade working for Leo Burnett Advertising/Chicago where the real Chicago deep dish pizza's, the standards by which you would judge "authentic," are Giordano's, Gino's East, Pizzaria Uno, and Lou Malnati's (a distant 4th in the rankings). These pizzas are HEAVY with quality ingredients and though deep dish, the crust is something that never gets in the way. In TRUE CHICAGO DEEP DISH PIZZA ingredients are 90% of the pizza, the crust 10% or less. The opposite is the case at Tony's where they make pizza's that are ALL dough and FEW ingredients. Tony's Little Italy Pizza offers a poor rendition of true Chicago Deep Dish Pizza. I ordered a 12" sausage, spinach, and mushroom - the exact same pizza I'd order at Giordano's, Gino's East, Pizzaria UNO, or Lou Malnati's countless times. What I got was a pizza that is 90% tasteless dried bread called a crust and a few tablespoons of ingredients (sausage, spinach, mushrooms) disguised under a heavy tomato sauce. In many places the unappetizing crust extended all the way to the surface hidden only by the tomato sauce topping on my pizza. Looks good but the deception ends there. I got almost no cheese, few mushrooms, skimpy sausage, and miserly spinach. This may be what one call's Chicago STYLE (and that's what Tony's should call it) pizza out here on the west coast, but this pizza definitely would not carry its own weight in Chicago. If you've eaten Chicago Deep Dish Pizza in Chicago where I've been you will easily be able to relate to everything I am saying. If you've never had a real Chicago Deep Dish Pizza then be forewarned. This isn't the real deal. It's what Little Caesar's would do if they tried to sell Chicago Deep Dish Pizza. All dough, no substance. As Scotty said in Star Trek TOS, " Fool me once-shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me." We won't be going back. Appearances are deceiving!

We used Combo's Pizza to cater a birthday party at Kid Empire and it was a huge hit! The food was absolutely delicious and arrived with everything we needed, including all the serving spoons and essentials, so setup was completely stress-free. The staffs were super helpful, friendly, and easy to work with from start to finish. The quality and presentation were great, and the pizzas, pastas, and chicken wings were loved by both kids and adults. Several people at Kids Empire actually came up to ask where the food was from because it smelled and looked so good. They were talking about using Combo's Pizza for their own parties. That says it all! Highly recommend them for party catering or any group event. read more

What a great place to grab a bite! I bought a groupon and my family and I ordered a large carne asada pizza and it was amazing. The owner by far was the most hospitable and generous woman I've ever met! The service here was so ridiculously awesome, that I couldn't even believe that what I was experiencing was real. The owner and another employee came by to check on us often to make sure we were doing well. They turned on the AC, gave us whatever we needed. I would definitely come here again and recommend my friends to come here. What an interesting experience. read more

You have some pizza cravings at nites sometimes, right? That's what me and the wifey had. Found this great lil joint through yelp. Ed and his wife owns this joint and runs a great customer friendly business. Got a good ole pepperoni. It was simple, succinct, and quite tasty as a simple pepperoni pizza should be. It opens late; so fellow nite munchers, give this place a definite try! Great food and a better service! read more

Not bad but expected better. Got delivery, so that may explain why their crust was a bit on the soggy side. The sauce for the garlic bread, was too small!
