But for the price I had hoped for more. Pro shop was nice and staff didn't greet and it took a bit to help us although we were the only ones in the building. We get our golf cart. Upon loading I notice how horrible the seats are torn up. It wasn't just the one we were assigned but most all of them. The foam is black inside and being so hot the adhesive inside stuck to my shorts leaving black marks on them that I have yet be able to remove. The worst part was not water on the course for drinking. Letting the staff know we hadn't played before that is something most courses let you know if you don't have drinking stations or a cart person to purchase from. There are simple adjustments that can be made to help the golfer. I hope they will do so. I would recommend other courses in town ir even those that are just outside of the city.

That rink was perpetually coated in a…read morepeculiar white greasy powder, something like dandruff, or small pieces of dry skin, you'd find in a vacuum cleaner bag, a stark contrast to the local red clay dust. During my visits, it seemed like the staff didn't bother to clean between sessions. Did they really care about the safety of the skaters? I couldn't help but feel pity for the kids who might not grasp what was causing their falls and injuries.

They have moved and the climbing portion of this is tiny - one climbing wall, one bouldering wall. I'm not the best climber but I enjoy it and have my own gear. Walking in there as both not a child or professional climber with my own stuff, it was incredibly awkward. The staff guy was pretty uncomfortable too. He gave us the "tour" and didn't mention any restrictions on belaying and saw the ATC in my hand but when we went to top rope he came over and scolded us about not having asked him and getting approved as if I was supposed to know. Then he mentioned that "plenty of their climbers have equipment too, so..." ...ok? After that little interaction, the noisiness, the complete lack of other climbers except a bunch of children coming over for a single climb - it just wasn't fun.

It was never told to us prior but we said oh well, lets just lett them climb. Totally different expperience. The kids said theyd rather had gone to laser tag. 80$, so $20 per kid. Just a fyi update.

There are public restrooms, plenty of trash cans, both paved and gravel walkways for people who want to walk or jog or bike, occasional benches to sit on if you get tired and it's probably very pretty in summer. When I took my pictures it was February so it was pretty barren. The park is a decent-size taking up a whole city block.

This is a nice club and has 2 course, Tascosa and La Paloma. Each course is a different style…read more Tascosa is a more traditional style and is where Ryan Palmer grew up playing. La Paloma is a more open lynx type with some difficult greens. The par 3's on each course are challenging. The par 5's on La Paloma offer birdie, even eagle, opportunities. The club is private but does reciprocate. Green fees are between $50-60 in the summer. That includes carts and range balls.
