Cheeseboard w/ salami

We wanted to get some wine and hang out, but didn't want to spend an absurd amount at the hotel. We found this place on yelp, which was like a 5 min walk from the hotel. It's such a cute & quaint place to hang out with your girlfriends. We ordered the charcuterie board and did a flight of wine for tasting. Everything was decently priced and service was great too! If you're in the area and looking for a low key place to hang with your girlfriends or even a date, check this out! Note that there is no bathroom inside.

What a beautiful time here at Comanche Cellars! Annamarie was so nice and helpful, she made the experience even better! The charcuterie board was great and the wines were super tasty. Highly recommend stopping in here.

Love this place! Small and boutique with great servers. I walked in and didn't want to spend anything ridiculous for a tasting. So $20 for 5? Yes please. Add the yelp voucher and it was only $10. This place is popular understandably! The snacks are also delish. I got a cheese and charcuterie board to pair. Get this, I was waiting to eat next door for some sushi. They are partners and you can bring wine next door but they delivered my food over to the wine bar! No wait for me! I would def go back. They also have a pet nat- prob my fav.

Merlot and Desperado.

Decent/good local wines, with very friendly staff. We had the Merlot and Desperado red blend. Good location in Monterey.

Me and wife came in here for a wine tasting. It's a small tasting room but very nice. They have a couple different tasting menus. They also have small bites which is really nice. The staff are all very friendly and it's a nice relaxed atmosphere. The wines were good and the pour sizes were generous. Recommend to stop by and give a try.

The tasting room is adorable & they have done a great job with their seating packages. This location is smaller, so attending with a group of 2-3 would be recommended. The tastings are excellently priced & the pours are generous. The wines are very good. My opinion is they excel in their reds, but they do have a sparkling white wine that is really well done. The tasting itself took upwards of 2 hours, which is too long. There was an expectation (from reviews on Yelp) that staff was going to be warm & inviting, etc. Unfortunately, our group was met with quite the opposite from the moment we walked in. Hospitality can be tough. I would recommend the Pinot Noir & their Syrah.

Comanche is an excellent winery to visit whether you're local or taking a vacation in this sweet city. I've been to winery many times with friends and family and have always felt warmly welcomed by the friendly staff and the overall ambiance - the design and decor here is beautiful. This time my husband and I were trying out the new tasting flights, each menu thoughtfully curated. The tasting fee is also waved if you purchase a few bottles, which we did! Great experience and recommend you stop by if you haven't already!

cheese board ($20) and today's flight ($20)

After long days, I don't complain but wine, especially when there is a 2-for-1 deals on flights upon checking-in on Yelp. Comanche Cellars delivers on local selections and affordable prices. There is indoor and outdoor seating. However, it can get busy and service is slow. See below for more info: 2-for-1 Flight Deal: Upon checking-in on Yelp, Comanche offers a 2-for-1 deal on flights. This is such an amazing deal, worth $15-$20 depending on your selection. I highly recommend y'all take advantage of this great offer. Local Wine Selections: Comanche has local wine selections. Whether you are drinking a glass, having a flight, or buying a bottle, there is an option here for all palates. I got the flight of the day for $20 and got to sample a rose, white and three reds, all of which went nicely together. Wines come with complimentary breadsticks and water. Rose: My favorite of the five. The wine was dry and light. White: The Chardonnay was medium in body and tannins. Reds: The three red selections were high in tannins and earthy. Affordable Prices: Prices are affordable, even in a tourist destination. Glasses are $10-$18, flights $15-$20, and bottles $28-$60. Boards are $12-$20. If you are part of the wine club, you get a discount. Indoor and Outdoor Seating: There is an indoor and outdoor seating. However, there are only two tables outside and a combination of bar seating, couches, and high bars inside. Busy: Comanche is a great wine option, so of course it can get busy. If you want to avoid the crowds, get your wine on early in the day, i.e., before six in the evening. Slow Service: One aspect of wine bars I like is the relaxing ambiance. Yet, this may not be everyone's preference. The service here is slow. I got here when there was only one other party around five and the wait time was about 30 minutes per pour. However, service appeared much more attentive and friendly towards bigger parties. Luckily, I was in no rush and just making the most of the start of the weekend.

Give 4 star for ambiance and service. Wines unfortunately are nothing to rave about, though opinions and taste will vary. One wine I suggest is 2020 Graciano

This is the perfect spot to stop by and do an indoor wine tasting. The whole staff is very welcoming and friendly. I got today's flight and a charcuterie board and had one of the best wine experiences. They are pet friendly! The prices are great! I recommend stopping by if you're in the area; they also accept walk-ins! I'll definitely be coming back!

Nestled in the heart of the Monterey Bay town lies the Comanche Cellars Wine tasting room. A quaint, eclectic, fashionable winery with amazing staff and a local feel. Having done my research, this establishment was on my radar for a must visit. On Wednesday's they offer $10 glasses and $10 cheese boards to the delight of all customers. With a Yelp check-in you get 2 for 1 tastings, and an experience that is truly memorable. The wine is very representative of the region, and a great place to chat with local customers over a pleasant glass of wine. Dog friendly too!

Cheese board and tastings!

We were in Monterey for a wedding and wanted to grab some wine without going to Carmel. This place had a cheese plate too, so why not. Sat outside, beautiful day for wine and cheese. The wine was ok- I'd say the Pinot was my fav. But this was more of an ambiance + convenience + cheese/wine combo. So set your expectations accordingly and you'll have a nice time!

This was not something we planned on, and it was nice to see. 2) The venue is extremely cut-off from the noise of the outside world. Aside from the occasional jet flying overhead, we heard no sirens, no traffic, and no rowdy groups of people going by during the ceremony. That's really about it in terms of perks. The flowers were amazing and add an element of elegance to the whole thing. Overall I would highly recommend the venue to anyone else. We went with the New York steak and tarragon crusted salmon as our entrees and they were even better than we remembered at our tasting. Bray performed solo with just his guitar and vocals, and what impressed me most was the incredible range of music he covered. His set moved effortlessly across decades and styles--from Johnny Cash, Frank Sinatra, and Lionel Richie to David Bowie, Simple Minds, Howard Jones, The Romantics, Georgia Satellites, and more. Some of my favorites included "Folsom Prison Blues," "As the World Falls Down," "You Spin Me Round," "No One Is to Blame," "Don't You (Forget About Me)," "Sundown," and a beautiful rendition of "Fly Me to the Moon." The warm, elegant atmosphere of the hotel lobby was a perfect setting for Bray's acoustic performance. He has a wonderful ability to take familiar songs and make them his own while still preserving what made us love them in the first place. What I particularly appreciate about Bray is his versatility. Whether he is performing with a full band or standing alone with a guitar, he knows how to read a room, connect with an audience, and create an atmosphere that makes you want to stay and listen. Another thoroughly enjoyable performance. If you have an opportunity to see Bray live--or are looking for a talented, professional, and versatile musician for a venue or private event--I highly recommend him. Frankly, this is the kind of thing I'd expect to encounter at a Motel 6, not a premium Monterey hotel. I brought it to the front desk because I felt someone needed to know what was being left in the lobby. The employee was shocked and said it was horrible, but there wasn't much follow-up. I returned to my husband and baby, honestly relieved that I was the one who found it rather than a child. The hotel itself was clean and comfortable, the staff we encountered were friendly, check-in and valet were quick, and the crib delivery was appreciated. The location itself nice, although the surprise two-elevator trip from our room to the lobby was inconvenient, especially with a stroller. I wish the layout had been clearer when booking, I didn't need an ocean view but I highly value convenience which is why I booked a Cannery Row hotel to begin with. The lobby incident is what I'll remember most. I would expect the hotel to staff to acknowledge such an atrocity a bit more. Monterey was wonderful for my first visit, and I'll absolutely return, but I'll probably be choosing a different hotel next time. Update: I brought up the incident again at checkout, and the front desk employee responded, "Oh yes, we were made aware of that." No further acknowledgment or explanation. We were then asked if we wanted to review our bill and informed that parking alone was $102. The casual response to such an inappropriate discovery in a public lobby, combined with the $400+ room rate and $102 parking fee, only reinforced my disappointment with this experience.

One of the things that sets Wave Street Studios apart is how effortlessly the space transforms throughout the evening. Our guests enjoyed dinner, then the room transitioned beautifully into a lively dance floor without missing a beat. The lighting, technology, and overall atmosphere create a magical experience that feels both sophisticated and welcoming. Rhett also coordinated seamlessly with one of their preferred catering partners, Fire on Wheels Pizza, who not only served fantastic food but even created a custom signature mocktail just for our event.
