Amazing wine love Pinot noir! Been here twice and it's the best atmosphere and wines.

We wanted to do a little wine tasting at a vineyard in Carmel. Unfortunately, they were all closed on a Wednesday. However, we came upon Georis tasting room. It had a great atmosphere and even though it wasn't a vineyard, you sat out in the garden and felt like you were in one. The tasting room itself is large with leather chairs and tables. The outside has several patio tables with umbrellas tucked away in the gardens or right off the tasting room. There's even a bocce ball court, which is fun. Alexander greeted us and told us about the wines and the vineyard itself. He was so friendly and provided great information to learn about their wine. Food is available at Georis from the restaurant across the street, which is a sister property. We ordered the charcuterie board which was substantial and had a great variety of things to enjoy. The wine tasting we chose had five different varieties for $30. My husband and I shared the tasting as the pours were generous. I would recommend this tasting room, not only for the wine, but for the wonderful outside garden to enjoy the wine.

One of our favorite places in c One of our favorite places in Carmel Valley. They have a great outdoor garden (perfect for the sunny days). The service is always great, staff is friendly and knowledgeable.

I visited Geordi's for the first time & it was such a beautiful rustic winery! The service was great. I loved the fact they offer pizzas. Our favorite pizza was the Elote pizza.

This is the best wine room in the area. We were told it was the most serious of them and I agree. The other wine rooms in the area did not have wine as good as this. I had a nice time sitting outside with lavender all around. I would recommend this place if you're in the area.

Chilled Flight: love, love, love their 2017 Les Abeilles (first glass on left) for the summer !

Charming, Cozy, and Romantic Georis Winery is; spacious and warm is their interior tasting room; airy and alluring is their decorative outside patio. Crisp, Medium-Bodied, and Dry Les Abeilles is; impressed with my chilled flight on this summer's afternoon, one sip and fell for the mentioned rose. Sweet, Generous, and Pleasant was the service; wonderful first visit, and instead of the checked off list, onto the must come back list this winery goes. CHEERS!

Came for a day outing while visiting family in the area. Was happy to see that wineries have opened up following SIP. This place was easy to find and had easy parking. We each got different flights. They have several different flights to choose from and all of them were good. Service was super good and friendly. They had outdoor shaded seating which was nice as well. All workers were excellent at helping us choose which flight would work for each of our liking. I would definitely return!

This was my fav spot to taste in Carmel valley! We had the space pretty much to ourselves. Helpful and lovely staff and great wines! Loved the whites, the Sauv blanc was my fav and we went home with 3 bottles! Perfect afternoon spent here on my birthday. Can't wait to come back again to this little wine tasting oasis!!

A very pretty venue with outdoor seating options to allow for adequate social distancing. We three ordered a bottle of the Endless Summer Rose to share over a nicely presented charcuterie board and a couple of pizzas (delivered from the Corkscrew Cafe). Though this review is of Georis, I will say the pizzas were excellent: crisp, chewy crust and fresh toppings, the charcuterie board was generous and the meats were shaved paper-thin. Georis staff were welcoming and attentive and sensitive to safe distancing protocols (masks worn consistently by all staff and correctly, covering noses and mouths). The rose was a nice Syrah-based wine at $30, served cold and with an ice bucket, and though we did not purchase additional wine, it was fine with our pizza. Great service, decent prices, excellent wood-fired pizza, altogether an afternoon well spent.

Friendly staff, good wine and great location. Also a plus that there's food available - would definitely go back whenever we're back in Carmel.

Wines were not good at all and the fees for tasting were not worth it. Service was just okay.

The hostess greeted us immediately with a complimentary splash of rosé and walked us to our table right away (no waiting, no confusion, just genuine hospitality!). Within minutes, our server came over and kindly offered us a few wines to try before ordering, which felt like a lovely mini tasting experience. We ended up ordering the Big Basket snacks, a bottle of Chardonnay for the table, drinks for the kids, and of course took a sparkling wine home with us as well. A small detail I especially appreciated: the wine box is simple cardboard without oversized branding or wasteful packaging - practical, elegant, and actually reusable. The atmosphere here is absolutely wonderful: a beautiful courtyard, soft music, charming decorations hanging in the trees, a cute swing, and some of the most gorgeous blooming bushes and landscaping we've seen at a winery. The entire place feels so thoughtfully maintained, peaceful, and inviting. We spent a couple of hours there without even wanting to go anywhere else afterward. We took so many photos and already know we'll definitely be back. Thank you, Holden, and the whole team for turning our day around.

Nestled along the rolling hills, the estate has an immediate sense of calm, quiet, elegant, and intentionally intimate. It's the kind of winery where the experience feels carefully curated, yet completely unpretentious. The wines themselves are exceptional. Pelio leans into cool-climate sophistication, producing whites and reds that are wonderfully balanced, expressive, and full of character. Their Pinot Noir is especially noteworthy, bright, layered, and gently complex, with a finish that feels almost coastal in its freshness. The Chardonnay is equally impressive: crisp, clean, and beautifully textured without ever being over-oaked. Every pour reflects thoughtful winemaking and the unique Carmel Valley microclimate. The staff is knowledgeable without being pushy, offering insights into the estate's philosophy, vineyard practices, and terroir with a genuine sense of enthusiasm. The setting, surrounded by vineyards, soft breezes, and sweeping valley views, makes it easy to linger. If you're exploring Carmel Valley's wine scene, Pelio Estate is an absolute must-visit.

Josh and Julie are the perfect hosts as are the wonderful staff (Jon Karlos & Aubry) who always make us feel welcomed. I am a huge fan of their Reds, the Zinfandel they did an unfiltered Zinfandel . It's fun to taste both versions side by side. Aside from the sediment present in the unfiltered version, I would have to say that version is my choice, but both are quite nice. Their Cabernet Sauvignon is not your typical heavy cab. It's fruit forward and somewhat light making it easy to drink with or without food, and also is available in unfiltered. The Petite Syrah is their heaviest wine and just begs for some hearty BBQ to enjoy with, this also is available in unfiltered. The unfiltered Reds may or may not be available as their is a limited amount bottled. The wine clubs are affordable and ship only 3 times per year.
