Bleacher are wooden, which isn't always so comfortable but it kept my bottom warm! The had a small ice rink for players to warm up before they take the full ice. Rink is very well maintained & plenty of bleacher space! Concession stand is nice and well maintained. Who can pass up $1 for popcorn! Bathrooms are a big things for me at an ice rink. I always feel like no matter what, the potty's are freezing! But, much to my surprise they were nice & warm! Overall, I was very impressed with the arena! They even have a "walker" type device to help new skaters (which would not be used during hockey but for open skate). I wish they had something like this closer to my home!

I have my own skates, so I didn't rent, but they have plenty of skates available for rental. They also have skate-walkers (not sure what they're called) that can be helpful for kiddos learning to keep their balance. While we were there, a lot of the arcade games were broken/out of order, but we still found some to play like skeeball. Sometimes kids were stopping on the floor when they shouldn't have been or started going backwards. I wish staff would've spoken up more about that because it was an accident waiting to happen! But maybe they're more enforcing of the rules during open skating a than private fundraising events. In other terms of safety, there was a police officer on site for security. The music was a mix of things but a lot of pop songs the kids were singing along to. The staff hosted some games that the kids enjoyed along with the open skate time. All in all, we had a great time and would come back!

Friday night (7-9) was fun, but it does get crowded. Unfortunately, you can't really hear the music, so if you're a good skater, bring your earbuds. You do need to be careful of folks skating all over the place and winding in and out - and unfortunately the folks out on the ice in the yellow vests don't really pay too much attention to the kids cutting people off and making some poor decisions. It's still a good time and the folks who work there are friendly. The pro shop has laces and they'll sharpen your skates for you for a few dollars.

I'm kind of fascinated at how many ways the building has been used. What looks like a front door isn't, and when you walk in, there is a glass partition that looks like it used to be the place to check in. The inside is totally old school, which is probably one of the coolest things about it. Anyone who grew up going here can bring their kids and probably have the same experience. They sometimes host roller derby matches and host fund raising events, I think. There is a chance that off season, if you go when there is a lighter crowd, they may not be fully staffed, which stinks if you want a bite or a fountain drink. The outside does look very tired. There are pieces of metal on the building that were signs once, and the tarp with the name and logo of the business is badly faded. The music is usually really loud, so be ready! They play some fun games during open skate, but those can also vary depending on whether or not they are fully staffed. The 4 corners game is a fun way to win a piece of candy or two. Definitely a good way to spend a few hours. The claw machines are what I call "bad claw". Beware!!

Always on any adult night skating in the USA check their website. Many roller rinks allow skaters to buy tickets or sign a risk waiver to skate before arrival. This was the first time for me this rink was in a strip mall. The parking lot was massive. We paid and just like that I was skating the night away. Though it was a slow night. The décor of the rink was out of this world. This is the best place for a GLOW PARTY! The music was current and had a beat! I dance my heart out on that floor. They are very lax with enforcing the mask requirement, which was disturbing. Adult and children patrons, as well as staff, not wearing masks or improperly wearing masks risks everyone's safety. The Snack stand makes snacks to order, so I had to wait 15 minutes for an undercooked, doughy pretzel and a semi-decent slice of pepperoni pizza which costed me nearly $7. The upside is that there weren't a lot of people present and they didn't charge a "spectator" fee, which is something new that Skateland implemented for non-skating patrons.

However, the skating aids (the little rolling walker-type creations) were $7 a piece to rent for the evening. The women's bathroom was very clean. Interestingly, the sinks, mirrors, and hand dryers are outside of the restrooms. Inside is only the stalls. This creates a nice flow of traffic and avoids any traffic jams inside the restrooms. That said, all the preteens and teenagers had to do their primping outside the restrooms and fully visible to everyone inside the skating area. While the party included pizza and drinks, many of us bought food items from the concessions area before the food came out. The food was a bit slow coming out but everything was good and the fries were top notch! I'd definitely come back just for the arcade or just for skating. It seems that doing both would be a much larger time commitment, and enough to fill a major block in the day if you wanted.

I have been coming to this skating rink since I was a child and have consistently attended adult skate night for over a year, which is why this experience was especially upsetting to me. The first issue occurred at the snack counter around 11:49 PM. I politely asked for a cup of ice water and was told the stand was closed, even though the posted closing time was 12:00 AM. Less than five minutes later, I witnessed another customer being helped at the same counter. When I calmly asked why I had been denied service while another customer was assisted, I felt the response I received was dismissive and unprofessional. The second incident occurred on May 6th and involved my skate stoppers. One of my stoppers accidentally fell off before I could fully attach it, and I was trying to figure out a solution while also asking staff whether anyone had found the missing piece. I explained the situation respectfully and made it clear that I was not intentionally breaking the rules. However, I felt I was spoken to sarcastically and treated unfairly by a manager during the interaction. When I attempted to remove myself from the situation and seek help from another employee, I felt further confronted rather than assisted. The interaction escalated unnecessarily, and I was ultimately asked to leave and denied a refund despite trying to calmly explain my situation. I completely understand the importance of enforcing rules and maintaining safety. However, I believe all customers should be treated with fairness, professionalism, and respect. As a long-time customer who regularly supports adult skate night, I left feeling embarrassed, disrespected, and disappointed by how the situation was handled. I hope this feedback is taken seriously and used as an opportunity to improve customer service experiences moving forward -De'Aira
