Then I took a sip of my Diet Coke, and it was awful -- flat, sour, and definitely not what it was supposed to be. It had that "dirty line" taste that made me not even want to touch the rest of my meal. When I mentioned it to my son later, he said that the last time he was there, he noticed chicken bones and napkins on the floor behind the register, which made my stomach turn even more. I didn't end up eating my food because I just couldn't shake the feeling that if the visible areas were that filthy, the kitchen probably wasn't much better. It's really disappointing to see a place that used to be a comfort food favorite look and feel this unclean.
