Always a great time at MiLB with the. Olin is Clippers. 5* experience every time. Very helpful and friendly staff!

Super exciting, absolutely fun and family Field atmosphere! The minor-league team, mascots and events between innings are always awesome to see, the baseball team is actually pretty good, and the field is beautiful. The snacks and drinks are not outrageously expensive and you can get away with a family of four for under $100

Great for friends and family! Make a day or a night of it. Have been lucky enough to attend two games over the past ten days and have to say this is one of my new favorite activities. From ticket prices ($5 to $21) you honestly can't beat the fun. There is plenty of close and affordable ($5-$10) parking all around the stadium. Park is full of families, friends, and baseball fans. Besides ticket prices, food is reasonable from $4 hot dogs to $10 (32oz) beer. There are beer, food and dessert stands/carts everywhere. There is pizza, sodas, ice cream, gifts, souvenirs everywhere. Most importantly the games are a blast. Clippers AAA league has the pitch clock (keeps game moving at a good pace) and there are fun activities between innings. The games this week were exciting with Home Runs, close games and the Yankees and Reds farm teams were visiting. After experiencing this these last two games - I would definitely visit her compared to driving to Cincy or Cleveland - and I am a Bball fan. Make it a family night or weekend day event - or couples or friends. It is a must - even if you are not a baseball fan.

I hosted a small family reunion at the Columbus Clippers game last night. We enjoyed decent seats. Our guests have a lot of MiLB experience. They judged the stadium artwork and food offerings as lacking.

Taking everyone out to the ballgame!

Take me out to the ballgame at this beautiful park any time! Often nominated for the best facility in the minor leagues & for good reason. Not a bad seat in the venue. Very affordable price points which make it more affordable than most for families. Wonderful and wide selection of food options for every taste. Even if you don't know much about baseball, you can get lost in all of the other entertainment that occurs throughout the game breaks, Lou Seal & Sweet Caroline just to name a few.

I've never had a minor league ballpark close to home, now I do. Parking is very convenient and really cheap, ranging from $3-$5 per event. I honestly don't think there's a bad seat in the place, the field is beautiful, facilities clean and great for family. Good isn't overly expensive, makes st combos under $10. Beer isn't really cheap but it's cold and good at $7-&10 a drink. They treat fans and visitors alike very well. There's also plenty of discount nights through the season.

Went to a 12:15 game with low attendance and missed 2 1/3 innings waiting in line for a horrible (cold) $6.00 hotdog. Thanks for nothing.

Since joining the NHL and beginning play in the 2000-01 season, the Columbus Blue Jackets have…read moreranked in the bottom 10 of the league, all time, in terms of point percentage. The Jackets haven't won a single division or conference championship and they've routinely finished between the bottom to middle of the conference standings (Columbus moved from the Western Conference to the Eastern Conference beginning with the 2013-14 season). On the bright side, the team has qualified for the playoffs five out of the last seven years. This stretch includes four straight playoff appearances from 2017 to 2020, so I guess you could say things have been looking up. Much of CBJ's recent success can be attributed to current head coach John Tortorella who was hired mid-season in October 2015. Torts has been coaching in the NHL since the 1999-2000 season. He's best known for leading the Tampa Bay Lightning to the 2004 Stanley Cup. Under his leadership, the Lightning won their first Cup and became the southernmost team to do so. Throughout his career, Torts' teams have made the playoffs more often than not and that's certainly been the case so far during his tenure in Columbus (he's currently four for five). Now 62, how much Torts has left in the tank as an NHL coach remains to be seen. Former left winger Rick Nash is probably Columbus' best-known hockey player. So far, he's been the Jackets' only No. 1 overall draft pick (2002) and he's presently the team's career-leader in many statistical offensive categories including points (547), goals (289), and assists (258). No other Jackets player has come close to Nash's records yet. He spent the first nine of his 16 NHL seasons with Columbus (2002-2012). Also, he won Olympic gold medals in 2010 and 2014 as a member of Team Canada. Among goaltenders in team history, Sergei Bobrovsky dominated in terms of total wins (213) and shutouts (33), goals-against average (2.41), and save percentage (.921). Bob spent seven years as a goalie for CBJ (2012-2019). During that time, he made the NHL All-Star First Team twice (2013 and 2017). Bobrovsky and Nash only played once together in the NHL All-Star Game. Fittingly, that year's All-Star Game (2015) was held in Columbus. Bob made two All-Star Game appearances and Nash six (five as a Jacket). The Jackets play at Nationwide Arena which opened the same time as the team's first season. The arena is located on the north side of downtown Columbus and has a seating capacity of 18,500 for Jackets games. The Jackets' practice rink, the OhioHealth Ice Haus, is attached and open for public skating at certain times. When attending a Blue Jackets game, there are signs that direct you to the arena's adjacent parking garages.

The season ticket department sent out a email blast about a new section they were opening and to place a deposit to get the first opportunity to pick seats. I bit, and figured I'd think it over to see if we even wanted season tickets and to learn about the pricing. It was a $1,000 deposit. After hearing the price was approximately $18,000, and considering our likely use of the tickets, we decided to pass. I contacted our sales rep and he informed us that it was a non- refundable deposit. I was not aware of that at the time I placed the deposit. He said that was their policy and I could pound salt. At no time when making the deposit did it say it was non-refundable. I asked him for the person in-charge of this decision and he declined to give me any names. He said I could send an email to the general ticket office, but he asured me they would tell me "too bad". I looked at the email blast they had sent and the only place it said non- refundable deposit was at the very bottom of the email. It was a long salesy email. My bad for logically thinking a deposit is something you place and if you don't move forward they refund the amount. My opinion of the sales office is that they are a bunch of slick talking snake salesmen, with no concious of doing business with any ethics what-so-ever.

It was the third MLS Cup Final hosted by Columbus' Mapfre Stadium. Unfortunately, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, only about 1,500 attended the game. The stadium's current capacity for soccer games is 19,968. A new Columbus Crew stadium is currently under construction and nearing completion. Mapfre Stadium will eventually be converted into the team's training facility. In 2020, Columbus was led offensively by the trio of American forward Gyasi Zardes (15 goals), Portuguese midfielder Pedro Santos (8), and Argentine midfielder Lucas Zelarayan (8). No more than a year after signing with Columbus did Zelarayan earn the MLS Newcomer of the Year and MLS Cup MVP 2020 awards. In the championship match, he scored two goals and assisted on the other. The 2020 Cup was actually Columbus' second championship. They won their first in 2008. Then, they were led by another Argentine, forward Guillermo Barros Schelotto. Schelotto was both MLS regular season and Cup MVP that season. Presently, the Crew are one of only seven MLS teams to have won the Cup more than once -- fairly rarefied air. In addition to winning two Cups, the team also has three Supporters' Shields (best regular season record). Only two teams have more Shields: DC United and the LA Galaxy. It's safe to say the Crew have been one of the better-performing teams in MLS history to date. The Crew are one of MLS' founding members. They were one of the 10 original teams to play in the league's inaugural season in 1996. Mapfre Stadium, then known as Columbus Crew Stadium, didn't open until 1999 so the Crew first played games at Ohio Stadium, home of the Ohio State University Buckeyes college football team. It's similar to how the Atlanta United started out playing at Bobby Dodd Stadium, home of the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets.

FREE membership - rather than pay a flat rate per year, you only pay for the events you're interested in attending, many of which only cost $5-$10 dollars and tend to include free food/drinks 2. Variety - CYP events can be seasonal sports leagues, socials, networking breakfasts, movie nights, local cultural events, etc. You name it, CYP's probably got it. They're open to suggestions for new venues and ideas so you never know what will be offered next. 3. Networking - I might be a little biased on this one coming from a PR background, but I LOVE that this group incorporates people from all different professions. Events are a great way to step out of your comfort zone and meet some really interesting people. 4. Leadership and volunteer opportunities - with weekly events and access to hundreds of non-profits, clearly these opportunities will present themselves. They're another great way to access and connect with the community. With so many members, events can be overwhelming at times. The business events can get stuffy sometimes too, but I suppose that's to be expected since I'm probably one of the youngest members in the group (yeah, 22!) Either way, if you're young and looking for fun, networking and sweet experiences in Columbus, you should probably join CYP.

They hold a nice variety of events so you are bound to find something that you like to do. There are a wide range of members but do be careful of those that see this as a dating club when you are there to network and meet other like minded professionals. I've met many new, wonderful friends in this group...but I've also met some people who restraining orders would be more appropriate. But that's really the case with any group. Just know what you're getting into. Membership is FREE and you only pay for what you do within the group. For example, there is a monthly member dinner which is fee to attend. You just pay for your meal. Other events, such as outings to the Funny Bone, have discounted tickets (normally $30 but $5 for CYP members). They also have volunteer opportunities to help give back to the community. I'm glad to be back and getting back into a group that with over 10,000 members has become the 3rd largest Young Professionals Network in the US!
