I was invited to the Huntington Field Club, which is a package you can purchase and includes a buffet of various foods and desserts, as well as included beer and hard seltzer. It was a pretty great experience, especially since it was my first time at the new stadium. I didn't know you could arrive over an hour early, so by the time I arrived the food was messy in the warming plates and the hotdog buns were extremely dry. The stadium is really nice, obviously, but seems smaller than the old one probably to make it appear more full. The seats were very comfortable and the view of the field was fantastic. The thing that almost ruined the experience for me was that parking was horrendous, with tons of traffic and tons of overpriced random parking lots. Leaving was even worse. It seems like the traffic is directed in a never-ending circle back to the beginning so I just turned on a random road and drove as far away from the stadium as possible to find a way to the freeway. It was a cool experience, though.

My first visit to Lower was for the contest between Columbus & Orlando! So, I took some time to wander around the facility. The ample food and beverage areas are easily accessible from the seats. There appear to be a wide variety of offerings. I did also notice something about being able to place orders with an app from your seats. I didn't try this function out, but it sounds like a very interesting concept. In terms of seating and viewing of the field action, it's my opinion that it would be difficult to find a "bad" seat in the house. The viewing of the field is such that from almost any vantage point a spectator might readily observe the set-up of play patterns and action on the field. Now... this is important - the energy of the crowd. Amazing! The fans here are loud and excited! That energy lasted through the entire match. It feels like big time professional sports, which it is, and is a vast improvement over the facility where the crew played previously. Well worth a visit and makes for an exciting evening!

Columbus was known for having the first soccer stadium built specifically for an MLS team. Which is why I found it quite bizarre to learn that this original stadium had been mothballed and a completely new one constructed to replace it. This seems remarkably quick and less than ideal, and I don't quite understand how it happened. Nonetheless, I have nothing to say about the old one since I never went there, and can only rate this stadium on its merits. I actually rather like the location. It's in a waterfront area, making it reasonably possible to walk across the river to get here. It looks like kind of an old industrial area with a lot of highways going by, so it works better for a stadium than it would for residences. The building looks like a lot of MLS stadiums, like it was built to fit a city block. It's airy, but very cramped. It's hard to make your way around, and sitting without bumping into the person next to you is difficult. All of this becomes even more problematic when you consider the COVID implications and the fact that their ticket prices were quite high. I found nothing of interest in the concessions, and notably no water; the one set of water fountains I located did not work. They had some weird scanner at the entrance that didn't require you to remove your keys or anything, and getting in was quick, but also illustrative of the overly restrictive security and bag policies modern sports arenas are increasingly moving towards. So a lot of headaches. But I will say that besides being cramped at least it was airy and the seats all had a pretty good view of the field. I must say that the fans here seem less interested than those in Cincinnati did. I don't know if it's complacency or what, but it was a relatively tepid crowd. The place is pleasant to visit in good weather, and hopefully enough fans do so to make this new stadium worthwhile.

Amazing first playoff game ever at Lower.com Field. One of the nicest stadiums I have ever been to with great vending options and not a bad seat in the house!

The stadium is nice and on a warmer day. I'm sure great, but if you build a stadium in Ohio, build a retractable roof it's just common sense. Also the prices for the quality of food are terrible. I asked a guy who was buying a pretzel and some bites if he thought he got more for the price with the bites or the full pretzel and he pointed out how hard the pretzel was and mentioned tossing it like a frisbee on the field and the parking is just ridiculous in price we are not the west coast. $28 or a whopping $50 for parking. I'm sorry, but no, this is not ok. Nothing is priced under $5 except candy at 4.95, no cash accepted, and not a lot of food options. I wasn't greatly impressed. Even the mascot wasn't too friendly, nor were some of the employees overall just an okay experience for me. It was too cold for a soccer game in a stadium with no roof. Note: You can bring a blanket, and i did not, but i did have coat layers, gloves hat and hot hands . If i had a blanket, i dont think it would have helped much more. What a magnificent venue. Lower.com Field should be what all the teams in the MLS are striving for. How lucky is the Columbus Crew to play in such a spectacular place. I am in awe each and every time I attend an event here. I have been extremely lucky to have been able to tour the venue after hours in a small group. I was taken down the rich seats. Man, their lives are just different than mine. The seats are cadillac down there along the field. But ultimately that does not even matter, because there is not a bad seat in the house. In fact, our tickets for the Crew games are actually standing room only in the Nordecke and we love it there! No longer do you have to get up every time someone needs to get out for food, beverages, or to use the facilities. They just walk behind you now. I absolutely love that. I love the personal cup holder so I don't spill my beer as I cheer my team on to victory. And I love the energy and camaraderie that is being built in the Nordecke at Lower.com Field. It is going to progressively be a tougher and tougher place for the visiting MLS teams to play. I just know it. I can not rave enough about the food and beverage selection throughout the stadium. I'm a huge fan of Land Grant, particularly their supporters beer, called Massive. And I'm a huge fan of Dos Hermanos tacos. Both of which a offered mere steps away from the Nordecke. There are women's restrooms everywhere! And they are fully stocked with toilet paper and soap. What a great idea! You would think this would be a given, but the original Crew stadium under certain ownership didn't feel the need to keep up with the restrooms. So I appreciate this. You may not be a soccer fan, but if you are a fan of Columbus, or just spectacular venues, try to find yourself at Lower.com Field sometime. Trust me, you will be impressed. Go CREW!!!!!!

We came over to visit the new home of the Crew during their World Cup celebration. The stadium is gorgeous! The field looks good from many angles, as we walked around the sections that were open to the public for the day and took a look. The game was broadcast in the Pub, the onsite restaurant/bar, as well as on a large screen on the Community Plaza that runs along the side of the stadium (but still inside the fencing, so you still need to go through security). There are several concession areas, as well as a store full of Crew gear. The bathrooms were nice and clean (and heated! Noticed only because it was 25F the day of our visit!) The staff were all very friendly too. Parking, of course, can be hit or miss downtown. We were fortunate to snag a spot in one of the nearby lots right along the side of the stadium, which was nice (I'm guessing the cold weather may have worked on our favor on that!) We definitely plan to be back to catch a Crew game in the future.

One day I need to return here for a crew game.. I'm hereby calling on the Blue Jackets to host an outdoor game here vs the Capitals. Very nice stadium.

Awesome new stadium. We were able to get fairly close to be dropped off by our Uber which was unexpected and nice. Recommend getting there early especially if you want to shop the fan store as it gets really crowded near kickoff although the line did move fairly quickly. The whole bar/restaurant area was a fun place to hangout before the game as well. Bartending staff was nice and fast. If you are in the Nordecke section be aware that you don't have assigned seats but it's first come first serve! My only complaint is that there weren't any non-alcoholic beers in the stadium.

    Maddie H.

The new stadium is incredible! Such a beautiful design. There was fun, family friendly activities going on out front like a miniature soccer field for kids, promotional contests, a DJ, etc. the field and seating itself is ideal, can't imagine there's a bad view in the whole place. The energy was ELECTRIC- even as someone who is not a huge soccer fan. Wide food selection and social spots to hang out. I will be back.

First time in the new stadium. Well, first time at a Crew game. The stadium is absolutely awesome. The sound system is spot on. There is no bad seat. Views are great wherever you are sitting. There are plenty of places to get food and drink. Drink prices are a touch on the expensive side but I guess that is expected given the event and venue. They offered beer, specialty cocktails, wine in a can, and bottled water. The field is immaculate and great care is taken to keep it that way. Scanning my tickets from my digital wallet made it quick, easy, and efficient to get in the stadium. Great place to see the Crew!

Pretty cool, if I do say so myself! I like that the stadium is not huge, and the open-air roof keeps the crowd's roars and chanting a contained, so I feel like no matter where you sit you can hear the chants coming from all over. Super cool Nordek cheering area - and it's opposite the visiting team's cheering section, so you get the best of both worlds. Several food options; I would have loved to get me some Hot Chicken Takeover, but no way was I going to stand in that half-time line; I'm sure it's completely doable if you go get their grub during the game. I do appreciate they have a seating area if you want to eat somewhere else besides your ticketed seat. I'm not a season ticket holder, but I'd definitely go back with friends and/or family. Just wish or team could get it together, now ;D

The park has been known to have fireworks. One of my absolute favorite features of this ballpark, is along the second baseline. That part of the field has "windows" in the brick wall at the street level, whereby individuals who want to see the game, but for whatever reason don't have a ticket can watch the whole thing unfold from the sidewalk. For individuals who can't acquire tickets for themselves or their children this is a wonderful feature, whereby they can still enjoy a professional baseball game. Hats off to the Clippers organization for incorporating this thoughtful design into their facility. Ample parking is close by. And usually this parking fairly reasonably priced. Be aware that the hockey arena and the soccer stadium are both close by, as well as other entertainment venues. In the height of summer, this can sometimes make for a very busy entertainment district. So be sure and check the schedule of what's going on at the other venues, You may need some extra time to arrive and navigate your way to the ballpark. It was magical attending my first ever Ohio State game here at Ohio Stadium in Columbus, OH. For a…read more7:30pm primetime game in early October, I got to watch the defending national champion and #1 ranked Buckeyes play against the Minnesota Golden Gophers. Just standing in front of Ohio Stadium was a surreal feeling. Affectionately known as "The Horseshoe", it is an iconic landmark in college football. Opened in 1922, fast forward 100 years later and the stadium is still in terrific condition. Capacity says 102,780 yet towards the end of the 3rd quarter, an announcement was made over the loudspeakers that attendance reached 105,000 for this game. Just an incredible number! It's like...the entire city of Columbus, OH comes together and celebrates Ohio State football and their rich heritage and gridiron success on Saturday gamedays. I purchased my ticket about 1 week ahead of time on TickPick and paid $150 (all included) for a seat in Section 26C and Row 40, near the top of the visiting side stands. The seat was parallel to the 30-yard line and views were unobstructed. I had no complaints about sitting too high up. My only issue was the timing of buying my ticket. When re-checking prices the day of the game, I realized had I waited and done more price discovery, similar seats in my section were going for just $40. Ouch! I paid way too much, lol. But still, for being a lifelong college football fan, no real price mattered in the end. It's about having memories that are priceless. In fact, just the week prior to this Ohio State game, I attended a "Whiteout Game" at Penn State and paid $450 for a seat. Ohio Stadium allows fans to enter through the gates 2 full hours before kickoff. During that time, I walked around the exterior of the stadium. My best photos came from the backside entrance near the tennis courts. Yeah, if you walk towards the endzone side of "the horseshoe", you'll discover tennis courts and if you keep walking behind the courts, you'll notice Ohio Stadium in the background and in my opinion, it's worthy of a picture. Off to the side of the tennis courts is a cool Ohio Statue statue that fans were taking photos in front of. It said..."The Incomparable Script Ohio, Established 1936". For this 7:30pm game, Ohio State's team entrance onto the field was electric. Fireworks shot out from behind the scoreboard like a cannon and made for an incredibly colorful display in the sky with the fading sunset. Every time Ohio State scored a touchdown, more shooting fireworks lit up the night. Also behind the stadium scoreboard were 2 residential towers lit up in red. Not sure if these red towers shine every evening or just for Ohio State games. It was cool looking nonetheless. Ohio State dominated the game from start to finish. They defeated Minnesota 42 -3, so by the time the 4th quarter started, half the stadium was empty. I stayed until the end regardless. Who knows when I'll be able to return to Columbus for another game, so I savored every moment. Finally, I must give total credit to Ohio State's band. They were fantastic. Throughout the game they played the school's signature song..."Hang On Sloopy", a tradition since 1965 made famous by The McCoys. After the game was completed, the band continued playing Hang On Sloopy as they marched out of Ohio Stadium, ending another Ohio State game in classic fashion. Overall, it was a true joy to visit Ohio Stadium and watch the Buckeyes play football in primetime. Long been a To-Do List sports goal of mine, sitting beside 105,000 fans rooting for Ohio State was an indescribable feeling that every college football fan should experience. We breezed through security, grabbed merch quickly, and were actually impressed by how smoothly things seemed to be running. But it all went downhill fast. Gigi opened and performed four songs before being pulled from the stage. Moments later, an announcement came over the speakers citing severe weather, instructing people to either shelter in place (with barely any room to do so) or return to their vehicles. We -- along with hundreds of others -- stood packed in the concourse for nearly two hours with zero direction or updates. Rain poured in through the bleachers, soaking people despite wearing ponchos. All the booths and stands were closed, so there was no access to water or anything else. It was uncomfortable, poorly managed, and honestly felt unsafe. Around 9:30 PM, with still no new information, we made the call to leave. We headed back to our car, only to get stuck in gridlock traffic trying to exit the lot -- for nearly an hour. No one was directing traffic or managing flow. Then, suddenly at 10:15 PM, they posted an announcement saying the venue was reopening. What followed was a total mess -- cars trying to leave clashing with fans trying to return, people sprinting toward the gates, vehicles weaving around each other recklessly, honking, pulling out in front of each other. It was dangerous, and absolutely no one was coordinating anything. We ultimately decided to continue leaving -- even though lightning was still visible and it was raining -- because we had already waited so long, and the whole experience had become incredibly frustrating. If they were going to let the show resume in those conditions, it should've happened an hour earlier instead of stringing people along with "lightning delay" messages. This summer I made my first trip to Breakaway Fest and I was pleasantly surprised. This music…read morefestival is much smaller than the other ones I've been to, but I still really enjoyed myself. The festival is held at the Mapfre Stadium so there is a giant parking lot available, uber/lyft drop off lanes, and it's even walking distance to bars on OSU campus. While the fest used to actually take place inside of the stadium, it is now organized outside and around the stadium. Entering the fest was really easy, they had drug dogs, folks checking bags, and even with long lines, it didn't take too long to get through. They had 2 stages, tons of vendors, food options, and the bathroom situation was the best I've ever experienced at a festival. Having the stadium restrooms available was amazing! I also got to give major props to the EMS team. It was a hot weekend and not everyone was being as responsible as I was. They were quick to help folks out that needed it. Prime Social Group did a really good job with the lineup this year. I had to get a 3-day pass because there were acts I just had to see every single day. I loved the lights and the firework shows that went along with the music. This really adds to the experience and my mind was honestly blown during the Odesza show on Saturday night. Overall I felt like the prices for tickets and even booze and food while you were there, was very comparable to other festivals I've been to, if not cheaper. It was definitely a fun time and I plan on attending again next year.
