A special deal of "10-days for 10$" and so I signed that up and took a few classes. I got to experience Hatha with Kristi and Vinyasa 1/2 w/ Christina. Both excellent teachers and the studio is beautiful, clean, well managed, and the vibes are so relaxing and open. I attempted another class but it was full, but it's all good! Simply Yoga is worth checking out, had good price points and is remodeling their large studio to be and beyond! Go check this place out and get your Yoga ON!

I have not taken formal classes in many years, but have been doing yoga somewhat regularly virtually to Beth Shaw YogaFit, and I was able to fit right in with the class. There were 4 other people in the Hatha class with Kari and I loved the small class size. Kari was great. Having a "real, live" instructor really helps you to focus / relax much better than watching a video, and she really kept her eye on us and gently corrected our forms which was very positive for me. I had to email them because I had an issue with my account that was my own fault and they replied very quickly and wanted to make sure nothing got in the way of my returning before the kink got solved. Heather is a cheerful and patient teacher, perfectly able to make comfortable even those very new to the practice of yoga. One of her loveliest classes consists of mindful breathing and relaxation; letting the body loosen up and let go of all the tension that we hold without knowing. I practiced with Julie as I became more familiar with the basic poses. Her style is gentle, encouraging, and promoting of mindfulness - of listening to your body and not pushing yourself to injury. I am particularly grateful to Julie because after I suffered a knee injury that greatly limited my ability to practice yoga, she helped me design a series of poses with extensive modifications so that I could strengthen my body without exacerbating my pain. Also, I confess that I admired Julie's selection of music for her class so much, that I asked her to share her playlist with me for my home practice (which she generously did). I recommend Heather and Julie's classes wholeheartedly, no matter the level of fitness or previous experience with yoga. I love this intimate Pilates studio and its skilled instructors! Small class sizes mean more…read moreindividualized corrections and adjustments for you. Corrections are gentle and rarely framed like you're doing that wrong unless you're about to hurt yourself. All ages and body types are represented here in a welcoming supportive environment. I truly appreciate the variety offered as every class is very different from the last. There are 5 reformers in the small room and one is extra tall and wide. Springwall units in the big room offer a lower entry price than reformer. There's a combo tower-reformer out in the big room used for privates too. Starting with some private sessions will help instructors learn how to tailor to your unique needs as you enter the group classes. They also check for injuries and ask for requests at the start of class. Anytime I join a studio where they don't check on injuries first, I'm unlikely to return, tbh. Begin instructors also have excellent habits of checking for consent on any touches. When a class is a bit smaller, it feels like they are tailored to focus on strengthening each students' particular weaknesses. Exactly what I'm looking for in my core workouts! I haven't worked with every instructor there yet, but each has a unique style. As I continue my practice there, I'm also happily becoming part of a friendly community, my secondary goal!

Married instructor "Aaron" walks around shirtless and barefoot in spandex overly short…read morevolleyball type shorts while continuously staring at women's breasts during our yoga positions. He leans over you to get a closer look at your "form" while intentionally dripping his sweat all over you. The other instructor was nice & welcoming, but AVOID Aaron. The studio is carpeted (unhygienic) and unfortunately the smell and sound of prior strangers' sweat squelching underneath your yoga mat is an extremely unpleasant. This studio is spacious and I really would have liked a better experience, but will not be back due to Aaron's lewd behaviour and poor attitude.

Tldr: unsanitary, poor value, negative atmosphere…read more Cons: The yoga area floor is carpet and so it's always wet with sweat. Weird membership policy: pay $465 every three months, no option to pause under any circumstances (so if you injure yourself on day one, you loose the $465). They offer showers, but dont have towels or soap; feels super budget despite the high price point. The class style is 'militaristic': teacher are shouting, snapping and clapping with an aggressive urgency. These people could not be less interested in the core of yoga (focus on breath, presence etc, they are instead trying to make the atmosphere a high energy workout club. Even in this they fail, as the vibe is not fun and energizing but instead feels like everyone is stressed). The atmosphere is strangely non-yoga (everyone who works here is jittery and wired, like they are chugging caffeine and snorting adderall). There are only a few props for yin classes, and they are inadequate and unsanitary (a few tiny, sweaty bolsters, and sweaty wet blocks). Basically this is the worst yoga studio I've ever been to, and recommend you travel to Portland for hot yoga. They nickel and dime while charging luxury rate in a dirty studio with stressed out staff.

I love their emphasis on inclusivity and acceptance.
