Came back after needing a smog. Ramsey did it again!! The service is great like always. Gets me in and out in no time. He does charge $60 like everyone else because of California's insane conversion to go green. He only does smog and THAT IT! Cash is not extra charger. Card is extra! read more

Good smog check place owner is great with customer service. Been going for about two years i believe.

This place is sketchy and tried to get 230 dollars out of me for a smog. He wasn't helpful and rude.

I've been going to Ramsey for 10yrs. And service, has always been quick. In and out. Great place to get a smog test. read more

Go online and find thier coupon for a smog check for $19.99. They completed my smog check and said $40.00. I told him I had their coupon and it cut my bill in half!! Find that coupon! read more

Price is great but my Grandmother always said You Get what you pay for. Posted Hours are 10-4 or 10-5. Arrived at 10:30 AM and had one car waiting ahead of me. After 45 Minutes of Nothing Happening I am leaving to Pay More to a Business that actually abides by posted hours. Funny it has been like this for years and I would over look it because of the price. Poor Customer Service trumps low price when you can't get the service done. Frustrating read more

This is my second time coming to the Colton Smog Test Only station. My experience the first time was great so I came back and this visit also did not disappoint. Ramsy is courteous and provides great professional service for an amazing value. The total cost for the smog check, state certificate and electronic transfer fee is $30 out the door using the online coupon. I'd be shocked if anyone can find a cheaper price. Plus it took less than 10 minutes. I'll definitely be back again the next time I need a smog. Thank you Ramsy! read more

**BUYER BEWARE** I went in for a smog test and it didn't pass due to some sensor issues. He told me not to worry since I already paid and he's not going to charge me again. Turns out that was an outright lie!! He said that I misunderstood him and that smog tests don't charge for a retest but they have to charge again. I told him that it's not what he said when I first came in but he doubled down and insisted that I didn't seem to understand him. Little does he know that I have a relative who owns a smog check place as well as a friend who's a mechanic. They both said the same thing: SCAMMER!! Just take your car elsewhere and save yourself the BS read more

Came across this place online and i'm so glad I did! They have the best smog check price i've ever come across for only $30 OTD in cash (+$1 for card). Ramsy was able to do my smog check right away in less than 10 minutes and was very professional and friendly. I'll definitely be coming back for any future smog check needs and will be telling my friends & family to come here as well. Highly recommend!! read more

Stop looking for any other smog test station. Came here at around 10:20am and was in and out in less than 10 minutes. Ramsey was super friendly and service was quick and easy. 30 bucks you can't beat the price I drove from Rancho Cucamonga to Colton and I'm glad I did . I will be recommending him to anyone who needs a smog check. Thanks again Ramsey read more

Fast easy and convenient definitely reccomend will be back in the future. Definitely my go to with everyone of my vehicles.

No o e ever likes having to smog their car, but this place was friendly, quick, and reasonably priced!

There are at least three conflicting schedules of operating hours on different web sites. The coupon (and associated codes) has no expiration date, making one wonder if it's legitimate. I called the listed number, and after a weird "Your call is being recorded" announcement, heard a series of digits. I finally guessed that they comprised another phone number. I called this number and after a while, was connected to .. what, exactly? I spoke in English, and heard a bunch of grunts in return. I took a chance and drove to the place, sometime after 11 AM. The bay was blocked by a van, and some work was being done underground. A good deal has to exist. This one doesn't. Don't waste your time. read more

best smog check out there!! wouldnt go anywhere else for a good smog!! the guy is very fast and easy! read more

STOP calling around for prices and STOP wasting your time checking out reviews of other places! Hands down this is the most affordable with really great service!!!! I went in 5-10 mins before closing and the guy did my smog check. I came here because they have a coupon in the community coupon book as well as on their online website. I forgot to bring the coupon so I used it off of their website. Smog inspection was $19 Smog certificate was $8 They charged a transfer fee of $2 $1 for using a credit card. I ended up paying $31 which is way cheaper than other places. I won't mention the name of the other place but it was going to cost me $58 without coupon and at another location (one of my clients) said he'd do it for $40 which is discounted from his regular price. I'll be one of their regular to keep coming back for smog check. I highly recommend this place!!!! read more

Went to these guys for a smog check back in July 2022 I was just notified by DMV that the smog slip was never sent so I went back to this business today August 10th to speak with the owner he looked through his records and said I'd never been there or my vehicle I assured him that I was he said he would look through his records and give me a call back in an hour never heard from him so I went back to the store said there's nothing he can do at this point I have to call this guy out as a thief I gave him $60 cash he never sent the slip in Don't let them rip you off too!!! read more

This place was super fast and to the point. I called and went in on a Saturday morning, and my smog was done within 30 minutes. I used the coupon on the website received a discount, and paid way less than any other smog check location in the area. Definitely recommend this place! read more

Took my 2014 Mazda here for a smog check. Ramsey was very quick & it probably only took about 20min or less. Thank you!!

Make sure you look for their coupons and save some money. They get you in and out fast. Super efficient and courteous.

Ok, the way this started was great. Come in and he gets things done. I was happy with my service at first. Didn't pass my smog test because of reset engine codes. I was told to come back after driving, then re-test. Acceptable. Now, I come back and the guy that was there, isn't to been seen. The shop has been closed and the numbers to the shop go unanswered. Sent an e-mail to them via Yelp, no response. Drove to the shop 3 times, still closed. After many attempts to call and show up to the business, I think its time to go somewhere else. Not Good Business practices if your not going to be open or have a way of phone contact. Don't tell a customer to come back and then not be open. Unreliable. And yes, I did read the reviews, that is why I came to this business. read more

Best smog experience ever ... ok, so I've had smog checks only 3 times in my life prior to coming here, but this was by far the best. Service was fast. The dude was super chill. I asked a bunch of questions about the smog test and exhaust and engine and other car things in general, and he was really helpful. Definitely coming back in 2 years. Smog check is every 2 years, right? read more

I recently bought a new truck out of state in Nevada and had to have it smogged for the first time in CA to register it. It failed the first time I brought it in and Randy explained that the computers on board had not fully registered yet. No charge, and said to bring it back in with more miles driven on it. After checking with the dealer where I bought it he was absolutely right! Well, the second time I bring it back to Randy it failed again!! This time I drove it around for another 1k miles and bring it in to Randy for a 3rd time and it passes with flying colors. If I owned a business like this I would want Randy running it. Instead of blowing me off, he spent time on retests and explanations and most of all was polite, friendly and understanding. Thank you Colton Smog Test and thank you Randy!!!! read more

Came here for a smog test today after my brother in law recommended it. I made the mistake of not asking for price beforehand. The guy did the smog test on my 2003 Honda, and charges me $51.75. That's a steep price I thought, but felt like maybe that's just his fee. (I've paid $30.00 at other locations.) Go on their website to see that they have a coupon you present for $20 smog test.... and Yelp says you can pay $30. Unhappy with their inconsistent pricing policies. read more

I found this business on Yelp of course. I called first thing in the morning to inquire about a smog check and found out no appointment was necessary. I went in 10mins after calling and my car was taken in immediately. I was in and out within 20mins! Talk about amazing service! Ramsy was very professional, polite and knowledgeable. I highly recommend this Business for smog checks. read more

This place should get zero stars. Online it says they open at 10 AM I showed up right before 10 I was waiting and waiting till about 1045 had called multiple times no one ever answered the phone the guy in the repair shop from next door says he usually gets here maybe around 11. This place is very unprofessional don't waste your time coming here. read more

this was a great place to get a smog check. it didnt take long and the price was only $30 highly recommended

Love this place 18 honest, quick, inexpensive Smog Checks over the last decade. NEVER do I go anywhere else and we drive from Redlands so there is probably 50 other SMOG locations to choose from but none are as good as here. He's done our AUdi A4, Hummer SUT H2, Durango, BMW MINI Cooper, Ford Mustang, has never matter the kind of car of truck nor the year (oldest is a 1996). read more

Quick service and very helpful. Use the coupon online and I was out the door for $35. After going to a couple of places and either being treated rudely or charged too much I found this place. Nice to pay a fair price. Got me in and out quickly and thanked me for being a customer. I would go again next time I need a smog. read more

Thank you yelpers for the recommendation! It was a little confusing to find because the place will say A&G's but this is also Colton Smog. Very friendly and great customer service. Smog check took about 10 minutes. They immediately send your paperwork to the DMV and explain the process. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a smog check! read more

A little confusing when you pull into the lot but apparently it's a couple of different businesses on the same corner. I parked anywhere since there wasn't any designated parking spots. I wandered into the building and was quickly greeted by Randy. He was nice and welcoming. Even though I didn't make an appointment, I was there no more than 15 mins A coupon was available for $19.75 from smogtips.com. OTD total was $35 - inspection (19.75), certificate (8.25), and transfer fee (7.00) read more

Great experience here. Very friendly and got the job done in a timely matter. I will go here and refer my friends and family for sure.
