If you aren't a Tiki connoisseur you should still check it out for their unique take at South Asian and East Asian cuisine. The drinks are stellar. Very refreshing and smooth. Gotta remind yourself to go easy on them or you might find yourself very drunk very soon. The food is good. I wish some of the dishes came with the option to have a side of rice instead of ordering it separately. The mood, aesthetic and vibes hit you right including the decor and lighting. Take a moment to look around and above you to appreciate the art and craft mounted on the walls. Even the wallpapers contribute to the Tiki vibe. It's well done. Sean took care of us the whole time we were there. He is so warm, welcoming, patient and ready to give you suggestions from the menu based on what you need. Importantly Sean is attentive and makes sure your specific needs are taken care of. As for Drinks, Mai Tai- 4/5 It was a pretty well balanced Mai Tai. It is a strong smooth drink. Sherrykiller- 4/5 I liked the balance of flavors and how the sours managed to hold their own in this drink. Boomslang Fang- 4.5/5 Another smooth yummy drink. The flavors complement each other. Boozy Shipless- 4/5 Well presented. Tropical flavors through and through which I loved. I was not a fan of the garnish on top at first but it grew on me eventually. Now the food, We started with Sesame Garlic Brussels sprouts. 4/5 for that dish. Beautiful flavor. Well roasted sprouts. Coconut Sticky Rice- 5/5 Perfect rice. Well made. Well presented. The salty and the sweet flavors have wonderful chemistry. The rice was the right amount of fluffy and soft. Mandarin Tea Chicken- 4/5 Very yummy. Chicken was wonderful. I wish it came with rice and had more lean white meat as it seemed that it had more fatty dark meat. Jaffna Shrimp Curry- 4/5 Wonderful dish. The shrimp was well made. Perfectly cooked. The lentils could be more softer. The sauce was beautiful and combined all aspects of this dish perfectly. I'm not sure what leaves they used for garnish. I hoped to see curry leaves in there given the South Asian roots of this dish but alas they weren't there. Nonetheless it was a wonderful meal.

Our table got free shots because one member of the party was celebrating her birthday at Easy Sailor (she also received leis around her neck). Cons: Expensive. Small portions. Food is OK, but not worth the cost. Drinks are VERY expensive. The vegan appetizers are coconut sticky rice, sesame garlic vegetables, and kung pao cucumbers. There is one vegan entrée: Spamfu fried rice. The coconut sticky rice was decent, but not filling. And it's hard to eat it without making a big mess, because they foolishly serve it to you in a small, overstuffed dish with no plate under it. So when you dig into the ball of rice with your fork, you end up dislodging bits of it all over the table. They really need to figure out a better way to serve it. The sesame garlic vegetables were quite good (better than the rice), but also not filling. My wife had the Spamfu, which was a surprisingly small portion given that it's billed as an entrée. The vegan bits of "Spam" were cubes of marinated tofu, and there wasn't much of it. Given that tofu and rice are both cheap, the cost of that dish was pretty outrageous. And speaking of outrageous costs, the fancy drinks were priced astronomically high. The menu is written in a small font and is hard to read, especially given the dim lighting in the restaurant. I had to use my iPhone to take pictures of it, so I could magnify the photos on my screen. The water carafes are impractical. They have very long, thin necks, which means you can't put ice in them -- and they tend to block your view of other people sitting at the table. They don't hold much water, so you have to keep asking the server to refill them. And the water glasses are too small. The restaurant really needs to get bigger (but squatter) carafes that hold ice, and they need better water glasses. If you're not especially hungry and money is no object, then maybe Easy Sailor is right for you. Otherwise, I'd skip it.

Punched in GPS address and headed out. 10 minutes later, right off the main drag in beautiful,Pittsford. Glad I hit Delta Sonic this morning so MON BEBE (my RAV-4) looks great and fits into the Vibe. Plenty of handicap parking, front door 50 feet from parking lot. Walked in on crutches, baby steps, wearing a full fall harness with "flare" patches sewn on. Great Music, 2-3 deep at the bar, bar full of laughing, happy, amazing people! Then about 6 men peeled off from the large group and surronded me, asked why the fall harness, why the crutches? Kept asking questions, then I said, "I was blown up in a backdraft explosion ITLOD" then, more questions....... then I asked, any Military, family friends, sandbox, IEDs? Then the stories flowed of family friends, Vets, Military, love of country. WOW! Then I pulled out PRONEDRIVER.COM cards and explained I was injured ITLOD, as a Vol. FF, since my injury I designed and my gearhead fiends built, 2 PRONE Tractors, 2 Prone Water Crafts, 3rd Prone Motor Vehicle (RAV-4 in parking lot and picture on card). They asked what I wanted to drink, OMG! How nice, I said I just drink Diet Coke or Diet Pepsi, 5 seconds later a diet coke was thrust into my hand. I reached for cash and they laughed at me, said I was thier guest. WOW ! Where am I ? Did I crash, am I in Heaven? Wonderful bar, clean, spotless, handsome men and beautiful womem, amazing sound system and amazing choices of songs! I explanded in College I was a Bouncer/Body Gaurd/ Sparing Partner. But I never, ever worked at a bar as amazing as this place ...... THIRSTY'S. Whoever, bought this, built this, owns, this, designed this place is a GENIUS ! I was asked more questions about the cards and PRONEDRIVER. I explained initially everything, the tractors, water craft, Motor Vehicles were just designed by me and my friends/gearheads/Angels built them so I could get around Prone as I was in intense pain and couldn't sit. The, I was approached by Pascal, a Professor at a design College. Said he was tasked by the DOD and VA to build a vehicle for our Injured Military, injured ITLOD by IED explosions, unable to sit in intense pain ...... LIKE ME. OK I gave them all my ergonomic drawing, pictures everything for free. 2 years later Pascal called me and said the design College, DOD and VA had shut down the program. I asked why and was told, MONEY and LIABILITY. I said bad words and then said, WHISKEY TANGO FOXTROT ! YOU DON't GIVE UP On our INJURED MILITARY, EVER. AT THAT POINT I TOOK THE LOAD. PRONEDRIVER.COM on Facebook Tom Smurthwaite on Facebook PRONEDRIVER on YouTube 60 second video of me (voice and a face made for radio) 60 second video of Prone Rav-4 and a 60 second video of a beautiful sunset from the Prone pontoon boat 2 miles out. One last thing, for the last 25 years I'd type PRONEDRIVER and PRONEDRIVER.COM into Search Engines, and NOTHING, until last week. NOW ....every Search Engine and my Buddy in England and friends in Europe, yup .... it's everywhere ....... GLOBAL. YIKES Now what I do every day and all night (pain only lets me get 10-20 minute cat naps) I'm up all night curled up in a fetal position, hugging a pillow, and typing on my laptop to, Generals of Commands who were in the sandbox from 2000-2020 and where we lost 4,000 to IEDs and 30,000-40,000 were blown up by IEDs and came home with a variety of injuries. My task to try to get the Pronedriver idea out to them so the 22 a day doesn't get worse. Your Bar, last night was the first bar I've been in, in 34 years. I was instructed by my medical staff to take a night off, listen to music, drink a diet coke and meet people. See I was having problems, the load that I've taken on was getting to me. I was going outside at midnight and saying prayers and asking for help from GOD and Jesus as I had been getting overwhelmed. That is why my medical staff was getting concerned, turn out I need not have worried, YOUR BAR, THIRST'S, my medical staffs directive. I hope you know that THIRST'S is MAJIC and it's filled with ANGELS, staff, patrons, just one after another. Just increadable. You refilled my tank with confidence, inspiration, HOPE and LOVE. I hope you realize that now I'm back on track, back on task. What you bar did last night is causing me to come up with new ideas, new messaging ideas, new ways to reach our injured Military. Your Bar is saving LIVES, thank you, GOD BLESS YOU !

I spent an afternoon solo and an evening accompanied by my wife at Thirsty's after flying into Rochester from Milwaukee. While planning our dinner party months in advance, the communication from Janine was excellent. She helped us develop a 4-course menu that was sure to have something for everyone, including vegan and allergy friendly options. Amy was our server for the evening, and she ensured we had everything we needed to enjoy our evening. The chairs in the Meyer's Den are wide and comfortable, the decor is dark and classy, and being in the basement away from the dining room made it very quiet and easy to converse with family. The room is rather spacious for 12 guests, but could also accommodate a few more people without feeling cramped. Out of the appetizers we selected, the Charred Octopus was very popular and everyone enjoyed it...even those that had never previously eaten octopus. The baby cauliflower dish was also a beautiful presentation, and quite large and enjoyable. The salads, particularly the Charred Hurricane salad, were nice light courses before the entree was served. As for the entrees, the filet mignon was a little on the dry side, but we really enjoyed the light and crispy spinach fritters that accompanied the beef. The salmon was a generous portion of medium rare fish, and there was lot going on with that dish - spicy cauliflower and za'atar potatoes that had some mixed reviews. Folks who ordered the duck breast seemed to enjoy the complex preparation, which had asparagus, green beans, and two pureed sauces - cauliflower ginger and cherry-rhubarb. The doughnut bread pudding with apple pieces and vanilla ice cream was a delicious, decadent way to end the meal. We left rather stuffed, and delighted with the overall experience that allowed our family to celebrate together.

For appetizers, we got the roasted beets and the bone marrow. Both were good. I got the duck breast for entree and my friends got the carrot cavatelli and lobster bucatini. We all enjoyed our dishes. The duck was succulent and roasted just enough. The Brussel sprouts that came on the side were a disappointment though. For dessert, I ordered ricotta pine nut tart with lemon sorbet. The tart was very subtle in flavor but good. My friends ordered the bread pudding which was great as well. Overall, very satisfied with the food and service. Can be back!

The Detroit style pizza is phenomenal! Perfect crispy crust. I was there on a Friday but came back the next day to try the tomato pie as it was sold out on Friday. It was delicious! Think focaccia with tomato sauce and Parmesan cheese. So tasty! But what is brilliant is that of four pizzas, one rotates each week and changes. I had one of the rotating pizzas: pepperoni, banana peppers, garlic sauce, and honey. It bears repeating, wow! So great! The beers? There's something for everyone! So many hazy/New England IPAs and sours. Great seltzers too! The space is great with room for private parties. Such friendly staff. I hope to come back again before leaving!

There was a youth softball team celebrating the end of the season upstairs so it was a bit loud, but fun. It's right on the creek and there's plenty of outside seating and picnic tables so if the weathers nice you can get your food and beverages and head outside. The bar tenders were all good, let us try a couple samples to make sure we were gonna like what we ordered. There's a separate spot to order food and the young girls working the food spot were unenthusiastic... We ordered the chorizo poutine, Roni Stark Pizza and Tampa Bay Bustdown burger. The pizza was good, honey drizzle was a nice touch, but the poutine and burger were the clear winners. Chorizo gravy had a good kick, and there were big chunks of cheese curd, nice. The burger had 2 smashed patties, nice crispy edges and a ton of flavor. The Gouda cheese and bacon they are using are both high quality. A lot of variety of beers on tap, not all IPAs which was nice for someone that isn't an IPA guy. Tried 2 lager, an ale and a pilsner they had on tap and I'd drink any of them again.
