Colorado Wedding Productions is everything you could hope for on your big day. We saw so many good reviews about them that we decided to set up an appointment to meet with a DJ and discuss what everything would look like. Everything is very detailed with different forms to complete so they know exactly what songs and events you want to happen. They were responsive to emails, very accommodating when we needed to postpone our wedding for a year due to Covid, and they never caused any stress before or during the wedding. This company is great! We were SO very fortunate to have Carl as our DJ. We Facetimed with him when we were trying to book a DJ and knew right after our meeting that he is exactly what we wanted. He made all of our phone calls easy and stress free and listened to everything we wanted. Our wedding moved seamlessly and a large part of that is because of Carl and all of his hard work. He went above and beyond - making sure my groom had everything he needed (not even related to music), he took care of our parents and made sure they were ready for speeches and had everything they needed throughout the night, and he even reminded my bridesmaids to fix my skirt up at the altar...AMAZING. The music... oh my gosh the music. He kept the dance floor completely packed the entire night which was a priority for us since its our favorite part of weddings. When guests call us to talk about the wedding, every single person has mentioned how great the song selection was, how much fun they had dancing all night, and how nice our DJ was to everyone. We even had one guest who had to leave by 9PM end up staying until the end of the night because there was never "a song where he could leave." I cannot say enough positive things about Colorado Wedding Productions and, specifically, my DJ Michael. They had to put up with us changing moving our date out a year and were so accommodating. When the day was getting closer, they were thorough and helpful with their planning and made sure nothing was missed. When the day arrived, Michael was so personable and fun to work with. He double checked on the little things like "What order are you walking into the reception" (which I filled out incorrectly) and he corrected it and made the moment fun and wonderful. He made sure to let us know that if we needed anything all night, please let him know. When it rained and our ceremony was delayed, he offered up his tent to shield people from the rain and was so positive throughout despite the hiccup. The music was also awesome. Our friends all love to dance like idiots, and Michael was very good at reading the room and choosing the correct song depending on the mood. When dinner was initially over, people weren't really interested in dancing and he played more low key, relaxing music that you could dance to but as the dance floor got more active, he picked the energy up and played music we could embarrass ourselves to. I have to imagine the ultimate compliment for a DJ is when someone splits their pants but keeps on dancing because they're having so much fun, and that happened at one point. I just cannot say enough good things about DJ Michael and Colorado Wedding Productions. They have been so helpful, cheerful and professional throughout the entire process and I cannot recommend them highly enough! read more

We used Colorado Wedding Productions for our wedding at the YMCA in Estes Park, Colorado on 8/26/2019. They were fantastic!!!! Going into the planning process, the DJ and photographer were two vendors where we really had no idea what we were looking for. We are so glad we happened upon CWP! We booked Carl Kuck for our DJ, Nicole for our lead photographer, and Courtland as the secondary. We were thrilled with all of our decisions! This company definitely has the whole wedding thing down. They ask the right questions, communicate at the right times, and are punctual and professional. Carl was a great DJ- he made the reception so fun. He also helped with some of the organization day of since we didn't have a catering staff to release tables etc- he helped keep things moving along at the right pace. The music was on point and exactly what we hoped for- he had everyone from friends, grandparents, and international guest out on the dance floor the whole night long. Nicole and Courtland were a fantastic team. They showed up early and stayed late. Nicole may be one of the sweetest people I have ever met. She captured such special moments without it ever feeling intrusive. Courtland somehow managed to get pictures of the guys and seemed to fit right in! They found amazing places and lighting to take the pictures without much direction from us. The group photos were fun, and efficient so we had plenty of time to enjoy the party as well. We are so thrilled we had Ryan join us at our wedding as our DJ! We interviewed a few DJ companies for our wedding and Colorado Wedding Productions really stood out. We originally met with Carl Kuck and felt his passion and philosophy for music really matched ours. We loved how he took the time to understand our musical interests to match us with the DJ who would be best suited - Ryan. Carl is also a super, super nice guy! Ryan knocked it out of the park! Leading up to the wedding, we went over must-plays, do-not-plays, and every detail of the timeline with which Ryan curated a fantastic playlist for the evening. His expertise and insight in the planning process was extremely valuable- we were able to leverage it to make some amazing improvements to our ceremony. We gave him about 20 songs to help convey our musical interests and he did a phenomenal job mixing songs and genres. The vibes of the songs he played thoughtfully crescendoed throughout the reception and he kept the dance floor packed! Our ceremony was outdoors (during a small thunderstorm), and reception was indoors. Ryan's setup was seamless- wireless mics and audio worked great during the ceremony outside and handhelds worked great for toasts inside. Ryan was right on time with every cue which kept every moment magical from processional to recessional, to first dance, to last dance. We couldn't have asked for anything more and we couldn't recommend Ryan enough!!! read more

PHENOMENAL!! It was truly a gift to work with Carl of CWP and Ben for our wedding ceremony and reception. Carl was extremely knowledgeable on how we could provide a mic and music during our ceremony at a venue that did not provide any outlet or power, but he knew exactly how to meet our needs and make our vision come to life. All guest feedback was that the sound was loud and clear! He was also available by phone or email throughout the entire process and always responded very quickly! This was our first time planning any sort of party...let alone a wedding and he walked us through the process effortlessly!! Their variety of music was endless and he was incredible at transitioning from one song to another which made the flow of the ceremony beautiful. We continue to receive awesome feedback from our guests (yes even those who say they don't dance) on how much fun the dance party and music was! Carl and Ben were also great at checking-in and keeping us on schedule without it ever feeling like they were ever pestering throughout the the night. I could continue to write for several more paragraphs on how the quality of their sound, MC skills and support - both leading up to the big day and then the wedding day itself was! We deliberated a lot over whether to get a DJ or a band, and ultimately decided on the DJ because there is such a wide range of music we wanted to play throughout the day. Shaun from CO Wedding Productions was extremely quick to respond to our initial inquiry, and the process of working with him was super easy. The online forms you fill out to guide the DJ's design of the ceremony and reception music are very straightforward and comprehensive, and cover things we never even thought about. Before meeting Shaun we were a little worried about having the "stereotypical DJ" who shows up in a baggy 3-piece suit and blasts the Lil Jon Pandora station for 3 hours, but Shaun dressed perfectly to our "western chic" theme and worked with a Spotify playlist we put together for him to help guide the different styles of music we wanted throughout the event. His enthusiasm and kindness did not go unnoticed, nor did his ultimate musical selections. We received compliments throughout the night and following days about how great the DJ was, and guests noted that the dance floor was full from the first song of the night to the last. As a gay couple getting involved in the wedding-industrial complex, we didn't know what was going to happen during our overall planning process or how people would treat us. I cannot speak highly enough of Colorado Wedding Productions. They helped my husband and I plan an elopement adventure wedding from half way across the country! From the first email to the wedding ceremony- comfort, ease and expertise are words that all come to mind. We worked with Shaun, and from the first contact he was extremely helpful. The process was explained completely, we were able to select all of our vendors, he put us in contact with each vendor, contracts and payments were located on an easy-to-access portal. We absolutely loved our photographer, Kira, our Videographer, Hugo, Make up artist, Kerri Ann, and the flowers were beautiful!!! I really feel like the degree of customization and service from start to finished was incredible. On the wedding day, I cannot begin to sing everyone praises enough! They had every single thing thought and planned out to a T. We were truly able to enjoy our adventure wedding and soak up the experience. From bringing extra blankets to keep us warm on the top of the mountain to running back to the car because we forgot the rings! They handled it all and we had a BLAST!!! My wife and I just celebrated our wedding (May 2022), and went to Colorado Wedding Productions for DJ/MC and lighting. We originally booked Carl at our venue coordinator's recommendation, but some shuffle in the company happened where he took a higher role. We still worked with him, but for DJing, he found us an equally awesome DJ, Ryan. Everything regarding scheduling and planning was handled in a very professional manner, and all concerns/questions we had were addressed promptly and helped us feel at ease during the stress of wedding planning. For the ceremony and reception itself, Ryan did an amazing job of MCing the night, using music we wanted to include, and adding in music that fit the tone we wanted and mixed well with songs we (and guests!) requested. His style and mix kept everyone on the dance floor, and we're still getting comments and messages from guests saying how awesome the music was, and that our wedding was the most fun reception they'd ever attended. Carl did an incredible job as the DJ at our wedding!! As soon as we met him for the first time we knew he would put us at ease on our wedding day. He met with us twice in person before the wedding which meant a lot to us and he called prior to the wedding to make sure we were all on the same page with the schedule and song choices. Carl was at our wedding a couple hours before it even started to make sure he was set up and could review the microphone setup with everyone that was planning to talk. Carl truly went above and beyond to make our day special. He played every song our guests wanted to hear, made sure my husband and I were comfortable and kept us on the timeline, and even got out on the dance floor with us to help guests with the Cupid shuffle and several other songs we wanted to hear. Best Vendor Award! Our DJ, Carl Kuck was nothing but amazing to work with! We met Carl through a friend of ours who also DJ's weddings, and we are forever grateful we did! He was seamlessly easy to work with from start to finish. Colorado Wedding Productions DJ's double as a day-of coordinator, and although our venue required a separate coordinator, he was able to take over the reception and coordinate dinner, toasts, first dances and everything reception! The ceremony music was the perfect volume and timing and the reception was an absolute blast! I have had more family members and friends comment on how great of DJ he was, than any other part of the night. He played requests when he knew they would be popular and at just the right time to ensure an epic dance party! I can honestly say that I consider Carl a friend after working with him and would recommend him over and over again to other couple's looking to make their special day perfect! Colorado Wedding Productions was THE BEST choice I made for my wedding, aside from my groom! DJ/MC - Michael made sure the environment was perfect for our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. He chatted with us and helped get a feel for who we are and what we wanted, then he brought it to life! He announced all of our events and made sure the guests were ready to keep the day moving. He was friendly, and truly an expert, passionate about what he does. Photographer - Ben captured our day in ways we didn't even see it. When we went through the photos (delivered in just over 2 weeks!), we really felt like we were reliving our day. We had an excellent experience with Carl as our DJ! We were on the fence if we really wanted a DJ, and my wife and I are so glad we chose to to with Colorado Wedding Productions. Meeting with Carl to discuss options and style was always a pleasure leading up to the wedding. He was very professional and had a great understanding of what we were trying to offer for our reception. Throughout the entire reception, Carl kept checking in with us and our families to make sure the volume was appropriate, the music selections were enjoyable, what the current vibe of the reception was, and if there was anything else we needed. We chose to use Colorado Wedding Productions for their adventure wedding option. We could not recommend them enough! We went on a mini hike and were married on a cliff overlooking the Rocky Mountains. It was an incredibly beautiful, intimate and awesome way to elope! Carl was our coordinator and made the entire process go extremely smooth, even with us planning from out of state. He put together a timeline, gave us details of what to expect and was well prepared the day of our wedding. He was also great at communicating. Ben was our videographer and Lindsay was our photographer. We are blown away by the quality of the video and photos we received back. Katie did an amazing job with hair and makeup and Lisa was great at coordinating an officiant. I highly recommend exploring their options for adventure weddings. We are from out of town and we having trouble connecting with a DJ without being able to sample their work for our wedding. We chatted with Carl at Colorado Wedding Productions - a distinguished vendor at our venue in Estes Park, and instantly felt at ease. Our DJ was very communicative and professional throughout the entire process. He was very personable and responsive. Being that they are highly recommended at our venue, he knew the layout and how to work everything at the outdoor ceremony site. Michael even helped my younger brother, our live guitarist, with the set up and gave him some tips for playing outside in the cold at that altitude. He was a great MC throughout the night, understood the assignment perfectly when we asked him to incorporate a wide variety of Latin music into our evening. AMAZING! We had the privilege of having Shaun Piazza DJ our wedding and were completely blown away! Our dance floor was packed the entire night and each song that he played was even better than the last. One of the biggest compliments (if not THE biggest) that we received from our family & friends during and after the wedding was how amazing our DJ was. They just loved him! Colorado Wedding Productions was fantastic. They were very responsive in helping us identify what services we needed for our wedding and helpful in coordinating our connection to an assigned DJ. Colorado Wedding Productions' portal was easy to navigate and asked all the right questions. It allowed us to explain and communicate to our DJ exactly what we were hoping for.  Our wedding would not have been a success without DJ Harrison!! He took the time to set up a video call with us to meet before the wedding and discuss our plans and preferences. He did a great job of understanding our taste in music and as a result played an excellent selection of songs. DJ Harrison even helped us initiate ceremony proceedings and make announcements for the guests. Carl was absolutely fantastic! 10/10 would recommend. Carl and Colorado Wedding Productions came recommended through our wedding venue and I am so happy we went with him. I filled out the questionnaire on their website and within 30 minutes Carl called me and was so obviously enthusiastic about being our DJ I was sold right away. His enthusiasm wasn't a front either... he remained enthusiastic throughout all our conversations leading up to our wedding and on our wedding night he was genuinely excited to be there, extremely attentive, kind, happy, and fun. Carl did a fantastic job of DJing for our wedding. Leading up to the event, he was easy to work with and very responsive. On wedding day, he made sure that everything went off exactly how we envisioned. Our ceremony/cocktail hour/reception took place in three different locations, and Carl was able to move seamlessly between them. It was important to us that our guests were up and dancing most of the night, and with Carl as our DJ, that's exactly what happened. He knew what to play and when, and he had people of all generations on the dance floor all night. Carl seemed like he was having a great time himself and that set the mood for the rest of the guests.
