I really appreciated how technically proficient he was and how he worked with all our other vendors at the wedding to make sure everything went smooth. Then my neighbor told me, check out Candice (he was getting married and was using Candice, because his sister who got married years ago used Candice haha), so I checked out her website, and the style that I thought I wanted was thrown out the window and I fell in love with Candice's style. I love her simplicity, clean images with an air of romanticism. You can see the love in all the photos!!! So when I contacted her, she wanted to meet. We met over lunch and my goodness, she's amazingly tall!! LOVE IT! we chatted, she asked about us and we asked about her...and it was a done deal. She was sweet and funny and super adorable. How could I not want her be part of my day?! Throughout the whole process, Candice was available for questions, chats, emails, texts, anything. She is so organized and professional. She gives you advice and tips and expectations and lets you know exactly what to expect. I asked when was the latest we could take our engagement photos because I had wanted to lose some weight, she said a month before. She makes even the most awkward, photo hating people (me and hubs haha) look unawkward and amazing. I left the engagement loc to her and she picked a trail in Pasadena that we haven't been to. She brought along her equally adorable hubby who was so gracious and helpful that day! Candice made the shoot fun and easy...hopefully we weren't too hard of subjects for her. hahah. and, can I say, the photos came back super fast and AMAZING. I wanted to print every one of them out. Then she proceeds to send all the imaged to you on the cutest USB stick along with some printed photos. Wedding day comes (but not without a phone call and some emails and texts about what she needed, which is extremely helpful for me to get everything together so I didn't have to stress about it the day of...and she went through a whole list of what I wanted on the day of...so organized!!) and she was as easy as day one. She captured all the moments, and beautifully too, and got the imaged back A WEEK AFTER. This was amazing since she took SOO many pictures and since my friends and I are still on a wedding high and we were able to all enjoy it and recount all the moments!!! I settled right in and Monica (Lanett's very talented makeup/hair stylist) started on my hair and makeup immediately. She did a beautiful job. I wanted candid shots with very little posing. She was amazing you did not really even know she was there. She showed a great amount of care and professionalism. We started our wedding an hour late (limo issues, that review to come), hence we were keeping her from her next appointment. Instead of shorting us (which I totally would have understood, not her fault the limo messed up) she called and explained the situation to her next client and asked if she could push back. She stayed with us as long as she could getting some great shots at the reception as well. A few days after the wedding our website was up, I was floored by the photos they were amazing and so beautiful! About a week later we recieved our CD's with rights to all our images. I was just expecting a CD, but no it was a very cute CD book with our picture printed on it and cute choice photos printed on the CDs. What a wonderful touch! I would highly recommend Kim for any event!
