I did see the pricing signage on the table when I picked up the pieces...it was a little square tile on a stand with other items around it so it would be great if the signage was clearly visible: Service fee: Adults (12 and up) $10.00 Children $6.00

This is me and my bestie from school painting our pumpkins! They turned out great! Thanks color me mine!

I've been coming to color me mine ever since I was little. It was always a great way for me to bond with my dad, and even now I paint with friends and other family member's. We always have a good time The pricing is pretty up front: $8 painting fee, which is fair. In exchange you receive great customer service, the brushes as well as the time you take to paint the ceramic! That $8 plus the price of the ceramic (the price is on the bottom of each piece) all for an afternoon of fun and relaxation, plus a ceramic you get back in a couple of days - I would say it's definitely worth it! This is my most recent experience: I am currently attending school in Ohio, and my best friend and have been painting for fun, so I asked my mom if she would bring us some pieces to paint. She did, it was so much fun! And so relaxing- a nice break from the stress of engineering. We were provided with plenty of paint, brushes, etc. The take and paint is such a great idea! We sent the pieces back to get fired, we got them back the next time my parents came up, and our pieces turned out great. I used the speciality glaze, which costs a bit extra but it's worth every penny! It gives the piece texture and you put it on just like any other paint. I love color me mine and would 10/10 recommend it, whether you are taking out or sitting in for an afternoon of fun!

For what it is, it works. While it might be as creative to some as paint-by-numbers, the creations some regular patrons have made are worthy of museum inclusion. There couldn't be a better way to introduce and encourage kids to play with paint, and there's always a party going on. The staff often helps kids achieve their best work possible so they can feel proud of what they take home. One girl showed us a technique that involved having paint-filled soap bubbles pop on a dish -- try it! So fun. As a semi-regular (having gone half a dozen times to this location alone), I will say that the service is inconsistent. Several staffers will go out of their way to help you, while one was extremely rude and disrespectful to me (which, after having spent several hundred dollars here, struck me as a bit of an insult).

I use to manage this studio for three years. Through out my time there I endured some strange…read morebehaviors from not just the owner Kelly but also her husband. The mall this establishment is in celebrates Pride Month as does all of the other stores. So naturally I put up decorations along with the rest of the mall. This angered Kelly and she started tearing down my rainbows. She said she wanted to remain "neutral". That was the first red flag as I, her manager, is queer and she knew this. The 2nd red flag was when her husband picked me up from this location (as I am disabled and can't drive) to take me to their Plano location. When I hopped into the car a song was playing, her husband quickly turned off the song and went looking through his phone for another. He then puts on The Lords of Acid - Pussy Song. We were alone in the car The owner Kelly and her husband are anti LGBTQ and anti immigrant. I ran their studio for three years before their beliefs reared their ugly heads. I, myself am a queer Latino. The mall celebrates Pride Month, Kelly didn't like this so she tore down all of the decorations I put up. She loved the indigenous pottery workshops I would do, they made HER LOTS OF MONEY. I ultimately QUIT because he husband was watching me on the cameras and had an issue with my sick child being at the studio when I had no other option. This man wasn't my boss. He had to pick me up one day for a convention, when I got in the car a song was playing . HE TURNED OFF THE SONG LOOKED GOR A NEW ONE AND PUT ON :LORDS OF ACID- THE PUSSY SONG. I'm queer, married and someone MOTHER. DO NOT WORK HERE IT IS NOT SAFE. We were in the car for at least 20 minutes... The final nail in the coffin was when her husband called me at work because he was watching me that morning bending down sorting the orders. My son, who was 11 at the time had his head down on the table. We had been up all night as my child developed hives and we had just gotten in from the doctor. I could not have prepared for this so I took him and his medicines to work with me. Well her husband didn't like that because it "looks bad". Mind you, this is the same kid that would volunteer on the weekends to help me clean the studio after parties for extra allowance. Kelly encouraged this. This man and father told me to find other accommodations. So I did, I easily found another job. If you go here you support an owner who not only makes excuses for her perverted husband but someone who hates kindness and equality. The people who stand by this women all look exactly like HER. Sound familiar?

It wasn't crowded there was couples there and a few single people. I walked in first and I legit waited for five minutes, no greeting, no service. Then the server Matthew came and asked me for my ID. I gave it to him and I let him know my friend was joining me and if he could bring out an extra menu for her. He did so about five minutes later. I mention all this because the service was not good from the start from the waiter Matthew. Once my friend came in, I noticed that the people around us everybody had two glasses and both menus so it appeared that everybody was trying a wine from each menu. Because usually they'll just pour all of the same kind of wine from both menus into one glass. But since seeing everyone around us doing it a different way, I requested we do the same. The waiter Matthew did not say anything about a glass pour limit or how having two glasses works. NOTHING! He didn't mention anything so we tried about four wines. Mind you we are chatting about work in a peaceful manner. We saw a server we were familiar with greeted him, and he poured us some wine. After that Matthew abruptly brought us our checks when we did not ask to receive them and he said we've tried eight wines already. I mentioned the fact that the couples around us have been there since before we got there and we got their last. There were no new groups of people coming in either so I thought that was strange. Matthew wasn't budging. We asked if we could try one more and he let us, but I did not appreciate him trying to cut our wine tasting short. The last time we went we had xavier last year in February and our wine tasting was great. We actually got to learn a lot of new things about the wine. The service from him was really good. He was the reason why me and my friend wanted to go back to the tasting. There was no limit on how many wines we could try. We even purchased wine bottles as a result from that tasting. Apparently the server Matt got mad at Xavier and argued with him in the back about it. But Matt needs to realize he's a rude server and needs to take notes from Xavier. All in all winetasting should be fun. Chill and relaxing, not rude. The ambience that was created wasn't safe and I couldn't enjoy my experience. Request for your favorite server to serve you because that's actually important.

Fun spot to burn off some energy…read more Randomly have stopped by a few times midweek...when it is far less crowded and grabbed a Groupon to make it more affordable and for that price it's not bad at all. Sure certain areas are closed at certain times but while we are usually there they eventually open them up. Not had any issues. A lot of the equipment you can tell has been used pretty good, but just like with anything still should watch your littles at all times. I would try to avoid weekends if possible. Lots of parking. They have dot ice cream that isn't dippin but still good...so bonus!

The good: - Once your kids get the hang of the self-latch system, they'll be able to climb safely without close supervision. - There are lots and lots of climbing walls and some have unique features. It's very entertaining for climbers over 48". - They have a drinking fountain. - They have hand sanitizer dispensers. The bad: - Many areas were shut down. We couldn't do the ninja course because "something is leaking from the ceiling" in one of the areas. Some features on the climbing walls (like the wheel you turn to bring a trapeze thing closer to a ledge) are broken. - They are severely understaffed. When we visited on Monday, Aug. 11, the ropes course was only open for a few minutes, as was the wall-hang slide. Because those areas require employees and there weren't enough people to work them, they were closed off for the bulk of our visit. - It's a bit expensive. I feel like I'd pay the $30 per kid if they had access to everything, but between the broken attraction and the areas shut down because of staffing issues, the price felt steep. - There's not a lot of seating available if you're a parent who just wants to watch. There are a few benches, but you can't see large sections of Funtopia when you're sitting there. I was hoping to do some work on my laptop, but there were no tables near the benches. - If you leave, you cannot re-enter once you leave the building, so hunger may become an issue as outside food is not allowed. I'd love to come back here with my kids, but I hope they have enough staff to keep all the attractions running and I hope they fix the "something leaking" on the ninja course. I got the sense that this was a place run by teenagers and the owners may be absent or uninvolved.
