Just visited today with a friend and this place was busy! There was a lot more people than we'd expected but the studio and staff were very helpful and able to squeeze us in without reservations...def would recommend calling ahead and booking a spot for next time! We had a fun 1.5 painting our pottery. We were able to choose from a variety of clay sculptures, plates, and figures and both landed on plates. The staff explained the process to us and helped out with picking colors and aiding us when we needed help choosing brushes. Great time for all ages! read more

Loved this place! I hadn't been to paint pottery since I was a kid but wanted to go again and had the best time at this place. It was so easy to call and make a same day reservation and when we got there Ava was so helpful. I went with my boyfriend and we were worried about going somewhere that was mostly kids, but this place seemed to have a good balance of people and is great for a family or a date night. Painting ended up taking a lot longer than we had anticipated and we ended up being the last people there, but Ava and Sam were so fun and chatted with us the whole time! I haven't gotten my pieces back yet but I can't wait to see how they turned out and I'm already planning to come back! read more

My daughter and I had a great time here. We spent almost two hours painting our pottery. I picked out a jackolantern and she grabbed one of the unicorns. They have a good mix of items to interest you and seasonal items for upcoming holidays. It's pretty pricey depending on what you pick out, but it's a really pleasant experience. I heard from my sister in law that they've enjoyed it for some birthday parties and my brother in law took advantage of the place to make some mothers day gifts one year. Color me mine? More like ROB ME BLIND. So overpriced. Painted a small mug which should have been priced around $10 but I paid $19 for it. The prices of the pottery were not displayed either, so you didn't know how much you were paying!! On top of the expensive pottery, everyone had to pay $9 just to paint. At similar pottery places I have been to, I was only charged with the price of the item I was painting, and those prices were at lot cheaper than at Color Me Mine. Unfortunately did not have the best experience here. Took my 4 year old to paint and my son went to look at the items he could paint, touched the one he wanted and got yelled at by a staff member. She also told him he had to use a different brush for each color paint and proceeded to watch us the entire time to make sure he didn't mix the brushes.It was a really awkward and uncomfortable experience. The whole time we were there the staff was not friendly and just was not helpful at all. I would not recommend bringing a child in. read more

Went here for a relaxing Sunday afternoon with my sisters and had a wonderful time! Pretty reasonably priced at $9 for studio fee + the price of whatever item you decide to paint. Plus, you get as much time and as much paint as you like! After you paint, you leave it there for a week. While it's there they glaze and fire it and then you pick it up when it's ready! Took my daughter here today and had a great time! They had a lot of festive items to chose from such as Christmas or Halloween items. I chose a traditional coffee mug. The woman working was very helpful and even personally helped me hold my stencil to let me finger paint it into my mug. Definitely a great place to take the kids on the weekend to keep them busy. It's been more then a week and we STILL have not gotten what we made. Like how long does it take to put something in a oven and put some glaze on it? Sheeeeez starting to think they dropped and broke what we made and not fessing up to it. Color Me Mine is a cool, colorful, kid-friendly place. Andrea and Beth were really helpful and attentive, and they explained the painting process to me step-by-step. I came with the SO at noon on a Saturday, and it wasn't super busy, but people were starting to come in by the time we left. Even if you have zero artistic experience, the no-judgment, just-have-fun vibe will give you the positive energy and confidence to produce something pretty and unique. There's a $9 studio fee for adults, and you can buy a piece to paint for $15 and upwards. There are lots of options - ranging from useful things like mugs and plates all the way to more decorative items (like the chubby whale I picked up). Choosing colors and painting can take 1.5 to 3 hours. After you finish, just leave the piece at your table, and you can come back in a week to pick it up after it's been glazed. read more

My dad and I went here for a fun evening of painting. The girl with the short hair was very nice and helpful. We were finishing up painting and it was about ten til 7 (they close at 7 on Saturdays) and another girl with long hair came over and asked if we were going to finish or did we need to come back another time. I felt that was a little rushed and rude since it was not even 7 and we were clearly almost done. Then, that same girl checked us out and was very short with us and unkind and never said thank you, have a nice day or anything. Painting pottery is a fun, creative thing and the people working should be fun and upbeat and at least appreciative of our business. read more

What a great experience! I met four friends here and had a fun, relaxing time. So many cute pieces to select from. The place had a nice atmosphere: clean, organized, comfortable space. Staff was friendly and checked on us frequently to see if we needed any help. We spent about 3 hours here creating our master pieces. I went there with 8 other family and friends on 11/24/19. There were 2 girls working. One seemed to be very new and couldn't answer most of our questions about the process. The other spent time sitting in a chair while on her phone. The organizer of our event kept having to go to them for paint, brushes, fresh water etc. We were a little frustrated by the lack of assistance. Our organizer went to check out and politely asked the girl with the phone why there was a gratuity added to the bill. The employee yelled "J**** C*****. Are you going to go there over 65 cents? I make minimum wage!" She loudly made more comments. Our organizer then asked her if she would just check her out. The employee then took the payment and threw the change back. She slammed the cash drawer and left to the back room. After that no one else's payment could be processed. Their system wouldn't work. This employee eventually came back to the sales area to try and take payments. She was holding her phone to her ear the whole time. Several people had to leave without being able to make their payments. This was not a nice experience. Your employees need to be trained on customer service. read more

Huge selection of pieces to choose from, super friendly and helpful staff, and they even stayed open so that we could finished painting our pieces despite it being past closing time. I picked out three pieces to paint for Mothers day presents. I painted two of the three and I was running out of time before they closed. I asked the woman working if it was possible for me to come back and paint the third another day. She said yes. I asked her if I would have to pay the nine dollar studio fee again. She said no. She even put it on my receipt. I returned the next day and was told there wasn't any room for me to paint. That was disappointing but I understood. I was asked how much painting I had left on the piece. I told them I needed to paint the whole thing. Then the man working there said I would have to pay the fee again. I told him what the women from the night before said and showed him my receipt. He would not honor it. I know it is only 9 dollars but I had already spent 75 the day before and I don't have a ton of money. This was specifically budgeted for Mothers day. I'm extremely frustrated and disappointed with how they handled this and will not be going back in the future. read more

I enjoyed picking a piece of pottery and painting it. I painted a seahorse plate and it turned out very well! Color Me Mine has great pieces of pottery for all ages and it is nice to be able to choose which piece you would like to paint. However, I felt that it was a little pricey, especially since there is a $10 studio fee. But other than that, the pottery prices were pretty okay. So, my son painted a couple of mugs last week and we hadn't heard anything back. I called today and was told they didn't see them. They'd call and let us know when they were ready. They didn't have a system to check and see if they were going to be ready anytime soon or what was going on... For the 46.00 for 2 mugs and no clue when anything would be done, CRAZY!! read more

Fun and Relaxing! The staff is fabulous! Everyone makes you feel welcome to sit, paint and have a great time! I just recently renewed my second year long VIP membership--totally worth every penny! Great selection of pottery and Diane is always open to new ideas for pieces to bring in. Everyone has an encouraging attitude and are very good at offering tips and tricks and new fun painting techniques.
