Michaels is makin' moves and by moves I mean catching up with the times and updating their store…read moreconcept. This location is the very first of its kind and just opened back up after all the changes they made. As a self proclaimed crafty queen and frequent Michaels shopper, I had to pay it a special visit just to check it out. My first thought... yessssssss!!!!!! I see you Michaels, I see you. For starters, same feel. I felt like I was in a Michaels store. It's not like their entire identity changed. It was still familiar, I knew what to look for and where. The flow of the store made sense. I really liked the new flower bouquet and plant area right at the front, along with their party room and upgraded supply section complete with a balloon bar. I'm not a big fan of Party City and goodness, they are giving them a run for their money with this refresh. Lastly, their fabric section certainly got a glow up. I'm not a seamstress and fabric is not my medium of choice, but it's super obvious how much better it is now. I will say that I've noticed the prices are getting a little outta hand for some things. This isn't specific to this Michaels location, but refers to all of them. There's no way I'm paying $25 for a tray because it's trendy right now. Overall, I'm glad they made these changes and are living in 2026 now. I'll definitely be coming to this location more.

They do not follow corporate return policy. I purchased online and in person, the product was way…read morelarger than portrayed and wouldn't work for my project. Within a few hours we returned with the scan code for returns on the front of the bag. The return wasn't going through and they asked if we bought through Paypal, which we did and has never been a problem anywhere. They said due to that, they had to issue a gift card. I don't shop here regularly, that is of no use to me. Trying to find a customer service option on the main website is near impossible. After looking at the return policy online, it CLEARLY states all purchases made with Paypal will be refunded cash!!! (See pic) I'd like my cash back please because it feels shady that I'm forced into a gift card when your own website says that shouldn't be the case.

Unfortunately, you're…read moreunable to enjoy your meal there so instead they instruct you on how to reheat or finish what ever you've made at home. I took the class by myself and had enough food to make a meal for 4 and have left overs. Everything was measured out for us when we go there. Only thing I really had to do to prep was chop the veggies. The teacher was informative. I think this class was really great for people who maybe don't have a lot of experience cooking. Or good for someone who cooks a lot but maybe wants to try and master a recipe. I've made pasta before but it didn't come out near as good as when I made it here. It gave me the opportunity to try out a pasta rolling machine with out having to buy one. Definitely worth buying one by the way if you're wondering. With our pasta we made a flavorful Bolognese sauce and a side salad. The teacher packaged up all of our stuff for us once we were done and sadly my vinaigrette didn't make it into the bag and I didn't notice until I was getting ready to set the table. I luckily had most of the ingredients at home or some variation of the sort so I whipped up a new batch but was not as good as the original. So highly suggest you check your bag to make sure it's all there. Also, you do get a 10% discount that you can use the day of class in store. Aprons were provided. I suggest wearing comfy shoes since you'll be standing for approx 2 hours give or take some time.

A "date" can be almost anything. So, don't feel like you have to have a special date, but it is a great way to spend the evening together, learn something new and share in a meal. You can bring your own bottle of wine along, if you wish. The cooking class lasted two and a half hours. The chef leading the event was quite knowledgeable, kept us on time, checked-in with each team regularly answering questions and sharing suggestions, while sharing personal stories to make the event interesting. It was fun! Met some new folks and swapped travel stories. Class size tonight was 13 people. Learned about some of the different kitchen tools as well as techniques. (I can poach an egg now!) They provide copies of the recipes so you can make the meal again later. The staff here at Sur La Table were wonderful. Made us feel right at home! You do get a 10% off discount for purchasing any merchandise in the store after the class. Plus, they will give you a $10 discount for each individual, if you sign up for another class that day. I signed up for another class as there are so many more fun classes to choose from. It's a great way to get out of the house and spend time with friends, family or a special some one.

Not only did our macarons turn out tasty and look great, but the team from Sur La Table was very helpful as they instructed us step by step. Our class had 9 people, so we had 3 groups of 3. This is my happy place. I like this location much better than their old location and the space works better for them than it did for Williams Sonoma. The staff is friendly and offered to help me determine which set of knives I may want to upgrade. I decided to just sharpen my old Wustoff set and maybe get some new pans another day. It always pays to invest in quality cookware. If you take care of it they often last a lifetime. If you look at it that way the items in this store cease to be expensive and become a great value. While there I noticed Sur La Table had knocked out some of William Sonomas walls which elongated the store and also allowed for a much bigger cooking class area. The store was beautiful. Nice job relocating. The store is gorgeous and fun to shop at. .
