From there make your way to their large display of paint brushes, pencils, sponges and different textures for your pottery with a nice array of beautiful colors of paint to choose from. We created our plate on Tuesday and it was ready for pick up on Sunday. They charge based on the pottery item itself and not by the hour. Meaning, you can spend all day perfecting your masterpiece if you'd like. It's also BYO food, drinks, etc. or they have a small selection of snacks and drinks if you prefer. The staff are incredibly helpful by explaining the process step by step and are willing to provide a helping hand and even suggestions if needed. We painted a couple plates for Christmas and couldn't be happier with our experience and the memories created. No previous painting experience needed. Highly recommend!

We booked a private holiday event for the designers in our office at this shop. My assistant spoke…read morewith the owner and made all the arrangements. I was in the room and heard the entire conversation, the owner was curt and unfriendly. A few days prior to our event, the owner call our office and asked for my assistant and was told she was in a meeting and needed to call her back. The owner said "NO, I need to talk to her now" So we interrupted the meeting and confirmed our event with the owner. It was no emergency, the owner just wanted to reconfirm. 8 of us showed up, on a Tuesday at 1pm, we had arranged for the event to happen on a day the shop was closed, so it was a closed event and we rented the shop for a period of time. The employee acted nervous and had to keep calling the owner and reporting. When we made our reservation, we asked if we could bring refreshments and was told yes. We brought enough wine and beer for everyone to have one small glass of wine OR one bottle of beer during the event. We also brought snacks. The employee felt she should call the owner and report this. The owner asked for my assistant to get on the phone and told her to "get it out now". My assistant explained we had asked and the owner said " I don't remember you asking". I was in the room when my assistant asked, when she made the initial booking. So we proceeded to pour it all down the drain in the sink. I would never recommend this place for a group event for adults or kids. The owner is just not a friendly person. We were a group of designers that needed no help, should have brought our own paintbrushes instead of using the horrible ones they had on hand, we were just wanting to have a fun holiday outing. We did not deserve to be treated so rudely - especially my assistant, who was very professional with the owner. I was a shop owner for many years and understand how difficult it is to manage a small business, deal with the public, and stay in business. This lady needs to learn that kindness goes a long way.. and most people are very forgiving if treated with kindness and respect.

I bought cookies from the cafe, and my girlfriend enjoyed a coffee and muffin. We spent a relaxing hour at the table, taking our time to relax and talk. Another customer joined us and we had a really nice conversation about the holidays. Our pieces were left with the shop to be fired in the kiln; a few days later, we were called to pick up our pieces. My gnome turned out greater than expected; so good that I will not be placing it on the porch with our other small plants and gnomes. My girlfriend's pieces are going to make wonderful Christmas gifts. I wish I could custom make some gingerbread men and snowmen ornaments for our relatives that lost every in the recent floods. We will be returning soon to take pottery wheel classes, and to make custom dishes. Oh,,, while painting our pieces, I noticed that the brush holder cups, the cookie plate, and several other items in the shop were handmade. This is a great way to show the practicality of making things, and the creative ideas put to use. I felt very welcomed in this place of business, and look forward to returning many times in the future. Thanks Juliette (the owner) for answering all of my questions, and making me and my girlfriend feel comfortable and appreciated.

The main reason being that the parking lot is much more friendly, there are plenty of spots, and the store seemed less busy overall. It's located as a standalone which I think is mainly why it's a little less chaotic than its sister store. They have all the same offerings you'd expect to find for this chain. Staff was super friendly and I was greeted throughout my entire store visit. I was offered help twice as well. I knew what I wanted and I grabbed a few things and checked out their clearance sections per usual. They do have some really great deals on summer toys right now at 40% off, which is very tempting given hot Florida days! Overall: A+ Out of the way from our house, but definitely worth a little bit of an extra hike for a great experience.

We scoped out some after Easter sales and found a pretty good selection. They have different stuff than the other Hobby Lobby's maybe based on the area but I'm not sure. A lot of the stuff is the same. The prices are also the same as well as the sales! I would never buy anything full price decor wise unless I just HAD to have it because they run great sales consistently. Just give it a few weeks and you will get a sale. It doesn't matter what Hobby Lobby you go to when it comes to friendly service. I have always found someone to help me find something and the registers open quickly if there are more than three in the line.
