Definitely not kid friendly. We used to stop here on our road trips on I-80, and look at all the fun stuff from the Amanas and pick out yummy cookies. They replaced that area with alcohol, crude t-shirts and a sign on the floor making sure no one under 21 goes in. The Amana products they advertise are on a random shelf and in a cooler by the bathroom. The bathrooms weren't clean, there were signs everywhere saying not to bring in large bags. We ordered food at the counter and in the middle of ordering the man stopped to get on to our son that if he "breaks the toy he was playing with, he would buy it." It was a race car. Well duh, of course we would buy it. Staff was not friendly, and one of our favorite stops will no longer be on our radar. I left while my husband purchased our food, because I didn't want to be in there. The experience wasn't friendly at all. read more

It's a BP gas station with country store carrying goods made locally. The location provides ample parking for those "truckstopping" or needing a break from the highways. As others have mentioned the bathrooms are outdated and gross looking / smelling. During lulls in the day, I wonder why they can't get someone into the washroom to light a candle, the smells emanating from their plumbing is revolting. I'm probably overrating them here but I found value in getting "souvenirs" without having to stop elsewhere. They offer all kinds of food gifts. From wines to candies, fudge, cheese curds, popcorn, syrups, meats (sausages) and more. The food store has ample space and more. A problem however is that many items lack price stickers. I'm sure that keeps many from buying more. I saw some tasty caramels and cappuccino fudge that made it into my basket. With the help of the attendant I also picked up some sweet wine for my father, which I am told was made with cranberries. I'd guess much of what I purchased had a "covid" surcharge. Being that I spent close to fifty dollars and hadn't much to show for it. In retrospect I should have grabbed more fudge. I'd guess that due to Covid, they cannot do tastings. I wish I could have tasted the caramels and fudge first. If you are reading this review and considering buying fudge, just do it! The recipient of cappuccino fudge loved it and asked if I could get more.. Another time perhaps. read more

Stopped at Colony Point. It used to be a great store- not so much any more. Very disorganized & junky inside. Shelves were not well stocked. I miss the local foods they used to provide i.e. Kalona noodles, etc. That stuff is no longer there. Sandwich was mediocre, nothing like they used to be. Hard pass stopping again. read more

Stopped by for gas. Payed at the pump with a credit car. When I checked my account an additional dollars was charged an my card. At no time during the fueling process any warning was given that an additional dollar would be charged. Fraud??? read more

So let me start by this by saying, it pains me greatly to have have to give a one star. I love many things about this place, the Amana meats/cheeses/breads, small bags of Sterzings, RC Cola in 20 oz and 1 Liters... But enough is enough. It is highly annoying that the Deli on a normal day closes at 5PM. Fine, whatever, this is American and if you want to limit your sales you can do that. But because I'm not completely heartless, I decided to hit them up before 5pm as I was in the area (2/6/2020) I got there about 4:45 with hunger pains looking forward to the The Colony Point (#1) with that killer dill spread. I planned on getting one for my wife back home and a few other items. So I step in, and I notice that there is no one behind the counter. I am about to ask for help but then I see the sign that depletes my spirit and costs them about $40 in sales. "Deli Closes at 4pm Jan-Mar" Unbelievable. Sure they had pre-made sandwiches but I'm mad at this point and decide I am not going to support their business choices until they get inline with the rest of the world. They burned me for the last time. I left without buying anything. I'm pretty sure I have left a review on here before, but not finding it right now. I'll gladly go and change this back to at least 4 star if their hours warrant them. read more

This place has an awesome sandwich shop inside. I don't know why they don't advertise it but it's very very good and reasonably priced. I recommend the colony point sandwich. It's big enough for two people or two meals. read more

Used to love to stop here for there amazing cookies. Also love that they have popcorn. Apparently this all shuts down at 5:00pm. We have stopped before and usually we're able to beg them for cookies even when the deli was closed Today we were told no. Last time we come here. From now on we will go up Caseys. read more

The door says the station is open until 9 pm, I was there @ 8:30 pm on 04/30/15 & the place was locked up. SO DISAPPOINTED! I LOVE their sandwiches, & the restrooms are always clean! Just really wish they had still been open during business hours! read more

I'm it giving this place any stars yet, but I don't like pre paying or filling at the pump. I passed through Williamsburg and stopped at the Colony Point coming home from Adventureland. That was 7-21. I pd cash for my gas inside. Guess what? I still got a charge even though I told the counter people that I didn't want to use my credit card. They said they weren't sure what to do but okay, they ring up my transaction. So when I call the station the manager Elenor tells me that I have to call bp since they weren't a bp station. But hey hey sell bp gas. Go figure. I call the number for bp that the manager gave me and when I talk to them the lady tells me that they can't do anything about it because it's the stations responsibility to call, not me. So I call and talk to the manager Elenor again. She again tells me that they're not a bp station and they have no control of the pumps. I told her that I talked to bp and they said the station itself is supposed to call bp and not me. She did call me back, and gave her the info she wanted. My question is what happened to the cash I gave the counter people? Did they split it or actually put it in the drawer? Next time I'll get gas cheaper in Altoona since filling up along the interstate is always more expensive than in town. I'm glad I have my own snacks and pop in my cooler and eat them in their parking lot. I'll skip this place next time. read more

Really confused... sign says open until 8. I just watched an employee lock the doors and it is 7:08 on a Friday. Gas pumps are still functioning and the parking lot is full of customers. Apparently the convenience store closes an hour earlier than the pumps? read more

Stopped in to buy snacks and used credit card for purchases. The young guy at the counter was polite. 30 minutes later I get a fraud alert text from my credit card company. I had not used that card anywhere else for several days. $30 in collect calls were attempting to use my card. I cancelled card. Coincidence? read more

Can't even leave a star for a review...bought gas at the pump and then my wife went into buy 2 drinks and was told you have to spend $5.00 in order slide your debit card. Has to be the most ridiculous rule ever. We took our money across the street to Casey's and bought drinks there instead. In fact it was cheaper at Casey's! Screw Colony Point Gas Station. read more
