There are lots of gas pumps available under 2 separate canopies. Inside it's modern and clean. There is a walk in beer cooler and "Fresh Food Market" with lots of food choices. I did luck out and got some incredible deals on battery cables - they probably had been on the shelf a little while. I needed quite a few for a project and saved some serious dough. I think the food prices are a little on the high side so the only food I buy there is the chicken. Their fried chicken is the best in town and is friggin delicious when fresh. I would recommend buying the lunch chicken early - 11ish and the same thing at supper time - buy early and you'll get really crispy pieces. Gas and diesel prices are on a par with the other stations. One thing I like is that unlike many other stores, LD Express gives free air. It's also HIGH PRESSURE so I can fill the big van tires fast. LD also has a car wash with automatic and manual bays. I prefer to use the manual wash. It works just fine and the cost is reasonable. It is well maintained. On the downside, the store has a utilitarian feel to it - cement floors, dusty, etc. The other convenience stores in the area are brighter, less dusty, and more visually appealing. But when it comes down to buying a screwdriver, a fishing license, and a burger all in one trip, LD has everything covered.

Pretty standard gas station attendants who have been pleasant each time we've been inside. Easy on and off access from Coralville strip and about a mile from the freeway. I immediately went back to the store not really expecting to get my purse back. Lucky for me, one of their regular customers had pulled into the space where I had parked and turned in my purse to the Gasby's staff. The staff had my purse and all of the contents behind the counter waiting for me. They are a great bunch of people and I believe if they didn't have regulars that come into the store because they are so friendly I might not of ever got my purse back. The staff was as happy as I was to get my purse back to me. Thanks to the customer that turned it in and a big thanks to the staff, they are great.....and so is the food!!!
