It's super cool, super laid back and Brit (the instructor) is funny and knows how to get things done. This class almost flew by, sort of. I mean, if it hadn't been for her I would have passed out is all I'm saying. If I have to go into a class to take defensive driving, this is the one I would choose every time. Six hours and, yeah, you're almost comatose from the common info that you should know if you've been driving any amount of time. It helps on the final test, though. Super fun, easy class that is informative too. What more could you ask for. The only thing I think could have used a little more solemnity was when they were talking about organ donation. I don't think there's really a place for jokes there even in a comedy setting. One of my good friends had a double transplant and I'm so thankful for her every day of my life. To emphasize organ donation instead of sort of mocking it (I get it, I get it, it's a comedy class) would be much more beneficial, in my opinion. She was extremely rude to my son and this is where I informed her that her rudeness was not necessary. I was, then, informed that I should look elsewhere for a driving school. To be fair, I find the whole learning to drive process confusing. Perhaps, she finds that annoying. I had a lot of questions. I also came prepared with all the necessary paperwork and certifications. I felt as though I was respectful, but when she was belittling my son, I felt it was my job to let her know that was enough. My son stood by me, did not speak much. When questions were asked, it took him awhile to think and answer. Maybe he took too much time, but again this process is new to us. Calling a child deaf and mute is completely inappropriate.

We did look at other schools in the area and even tried one of them out, and another that we cancelled because they did not show up on time. After looking at a lot of reviews Safeway Driving First Colony had the highest satisfaction rate so we opted to try them. There were other schools that cost less but so were the reviews. They answered all of my questions with ease, and my my decision to sign up for their program without any hesitation. They also had a promotion at this time, so I lucked out with paying a little less than their original price. I'm a 31 year old new driver, and I can't believe how driving for the first time came became so easy with their guidance. At first the 6-hour online class seemed a bit dreadful, but in hind sight it was extremely helpful and I learned a lot. I took my lessons, and passed my DPS driving test through Safeway all within a month. I would suggest Safeway to all new drivers, and recommend Nagib as an instructor! Will Thornton was the instructor for the DPS driving test and taught me new tricks and tips even in my last session before the driving test. At Safeway, you have an option to book an hour session for your DPS driving test. You get a 45 minute refresher session and get tested in the last 15 minutes. I felt comfortable and confident and passed my test with very few mistakes!
