I had Mike as a driving instructor and he was kind, patience, awesome driving instructor that I learned from and kept telling me good compliments and also helpful. I also had Shazia as a driving instructor and she was giving me also helpful driving advices that she has driving knowledge from, she is patient, helpful and also kept giving me good compliments as well. We did look at other schools in the area and even tried one of them out, and another that we cancelled because they did not show up on time. After looking at a lot of reviews Safeway Driving First Colony had the highest satisfaction rate so we opted to try them. There were other schools that cost less but so were the reviews. Sometimes you get what you pay for and this is definitely one of those times. We are 100% satisfied with the service and highly recommend.

They answered all of my questions with ease, and my my decision to sign up for their program without any hesitation. They also had a promotion at this time, so I lucked out with paying a little less than their original price. I'm a 31 year old new driver, and I can't believe how driving for the first time came became so easy with their guidance. At first the 6-hour online class seemed a bit dreadful, but in hind sight it was extremely helpful and I learned a lot. I took my lessons, and passed my DPS driving test through Safeway all within a month. I would suggest Safeway to all new drivers, and recommend Nagib as an instructor! Will Thornton was the instructor for the DPS driving test and taught me new tricks and tips even in my last session before the driving test. At Safeway, you have an option to book an hour session for your DPS driving test. You get a 45 minute refresher session and get tested in the last 15 minutes. I felt comfortable and confident and passed my test with very few mistakes!

It's super cool, super laid back and Brit (the instructor) is funny and knows how to get things done. This class almost flew by, sort of. I mean, if it hadn't been for her I would have passed out is all I'm saying. If I have to go into a class to take defensive driving, this is the one I would choose every time. Six hours and, yeah, you're almost comatose from the common info that you should know if you've been driving any amount of time. It helps on the final test, though. Super fun, easy class that is informative too. What more could you ask for. The only thing I think could have used a little more solemnity was when they were talking about organ donation. I don't think there's really a place for jokes there even in a comedy setting. One of my good friends had a double transplant and I'm so thankful for her every day of my life. To emphasize organ donation instead of sort of mocking it (I get it, I get it, it's a comedy class) would be much more beneficial, in my opinion. He didn't see her and told her "This is America, I don't know what y'all do in Colombia but you need to get with what Americans do. You should have walked over to my car at 9am." He also called me and repeated this same message. Dan taught her parallel parking and she doesn't know how to part forward facing into a spot. The manager said today because regular parking isn't on the test . We are having trouble with turns and staying in the lane. I told the manager I was not happy and shared our experience. He said Dan is an excellent teacher and not racist because he's Hispanic. I never called Dan racist I said I was offended by that comment. It's unkind to tell someone that. Our driver doesn't know the basics and uses her blinker at roundabouts and leaving the driveway. Dan told her to use the blinker each time she goes left or right. The manager recorded my call when I was complaining and I asked to speak to someone else. He was not helpful at all. I didn't feel heard or like he cared. I would not recommend this driving school to ANYONE. Complete rip off. They will just take your money.

I even remember the conversation she and I had about upcoming concerts. Honestly if your business was good, you would not pull this stunt and be so bitter.
