They are great at keeping our kiddos very happy and well taken care of. Both of our littles started in the infant room and the staff has always listened and followed our instructions, and have loved our kiddos like their own. Our oldest is in the toddler room now and is such a booming toddler (always singing songs, art, colors, counting, etc) We feel very lucky to have Kidoodles for our girls.

Half the time I called "the director was away for the week and she will get back to you with where you are on the list." From my searches, I haven't been able to find another school that takes a holistic approach to programming while fully engaging the child and providing support and flexibility for parents. I enjoy the Spring Fling, the opportunity to take pictures with Santa, the pancake breakfast, and other activities such as the kid-friendly Halloween Trunk-or-Treat event. All the staff have been incredibly kind and supportive of my family. This school is wholly dedicated to the family unit. We are going to be adding a second child to this daycare in the Fall. When we got pregnant with our second we thought about getting an au pair because it would be about the same price as ACL but we just feel like he is as smart as he is because of the interaction and the curriculum at this daycare. If you are interested in ACL you need to get on the waitlist early. It's very competitive because so many people want to send their kids here. If you work for the VA you priority so keep this in mind. Patricia in the baby room is outstanding as are Teri and Kamala in the 2 year old room. We've been at the school for about…read more6 months now and have had an absolutely amazing experience. 1) we love the staff -- both the administrators and the teachers. Ms. Kayla has been particularly amazing. She has been with our daughter in the explorer classroom since we started and has been a true partner to us in our child's development. If we ever are having a challenge at home, we know we can bring it to the teachers at GHM and they'll help reinforce our parenting efforts in the classroom as well. The administrative team is hands on (yay for Jesse, Alyscia, and Jessica!) and so welcoming and kind. I regularly see them in classroom and getting g involved with the kids and as teacher support. Love to see it. 2) GHM strives to foster community amongst parents and families at the school. There are dad's nights, mom's nights, family barbecues and more! I have had the chance to get to know most of the parents of the kids in my daughter's classroom, which is awesome. 3) Parent teacher conferences are regularly scheduled and the staff comes prepared with detailed notes on your child's development and milestones. You can really have a collaborative discussion about your child and their needs! It felt really lovely to hear their perspective because they were so detailed and thoughtful in their assessment. 4) Look, all schools are dealing with staffing shortages, but we have had far less of an issue with this at GHM than we did at our last school. Our daughters teachers have been very consistent and in the event of staff turnover, Jesse, Alyscia and Jessica will do everything in their power to keep the school open - we've never had a school closure due to short staffing -- at our last school this was a regular occurrence. 5) We love that the school takes care of breakfast, lunch and snacks for the kids! Balanced meals, and such a relief to not have to do this at home every night. Helps free up the time we have at home with our daughter for play and connection! The neglect of my son not being given water or having sun block put on him by the director of the center while she was in preschool filling in for the lack of consistent teachers and chaos in preschool as is.. Coming home with his underwear having serious skid marks from the teachers not caring for his proper hygene, to his paints and underwear being backwards and shoes on the wrong feet. When I tried to tell the teacher she raised her voice to talk over me and interrupt me to tell me " Well he did that" before I was able to voice my other concerns, veing please wipe his butt better next time and clothes on properly. I thought teachers are supposed to teach the kids how to do things the right way and stand for GHM own "Morals and standards" what a joke. He hires woman is mini shirts and people who have no experience becaude he is desperate for the fill in. No wonder with the way he treats and represents people internally. It looks sparkly on the outside until you get your child in and your family in then you realize it is nothing but terrible communication, an owner out for money and a director who doesnt support her teachers or get out of her chair. Then I got a phone call, not the decency of a face to face conversation by the owner Jesse being told I screamed in the classroom, an over reaction, he nor his teachers cared to listen to my concerns. This is just one exampke of many. There is a new teacher there every week and they don't last for for then a couple weeks if that. I have called state and jeffco for child neglect a few weeks ago and will do so again. The countless teachers that come through this center is unreal. Eight teachers I counted in April and the list goes on. Your child will not have consistent teachers or care. Preschool is out of control as I have had a sub teacher tell me how the director thinks that yelling and screaming gets 3 years to listen and they feel inadiquite and uncomfortable there because they feel it a lost cause. If you want true care for your child and genuine "Vetran Buisness owners" who care about the true well being, BEWARE. Take your money elsewhere as you will be highly disappointed. We are expecting our second and have recently toured over a dozen other daycares in the areas and very few have impressed the same way. My only complaint is the cost and the fact that tuition increases every year. However, in comparison to Denver daycare costs, it is fairly reasonable.

My daughter been going to this site since she was 2 &1/2. She graduates this year. They have staff there who aren't properly trained and or have no experience. They have been on probation for their childcare license since November of 2018. My daughter almost died in their care. Yesterday on April 8th 2019, I arrive to get my daughter during nap time , and I see white stuff by her mouth. I assumed it was food. As I'm pulling, it's getting stuck and I sit her up immediately only to pull a wad of tissue out her mouth. (Will post a pic) when I arrived both Jillian and Dalena were on their cell phones. (This is a licensing violation) I asked why there was tissue paper in her mouth while she was sleeping. Not either of them could answer my question as to how it got into her mouth and why it was there or how they didn't catch it was in there. Maybe they didn't catch it because their faces were stuck to their phones. I showed Jillian the tissue she kept saying "I'll get rid of that, hand it to me" I refused to hand it to her. She was eager to get it and dispose of it. Furious to not getting answers I grabbed my daughter and left. When I got home I immediately called the manager Heidi, she was unavailable so I left a message regarding my concerns. She did not call me back. I spoke to some girl named Mary, she contacted me back. Told me she'd contact Jillian and get back to me, which she did. But she was no help, very unprofessional and ignorant to the whole situation. She did not care that my daughter could've choked and died. She told me in her exact words "Jillian didn't know how it got there and was on her phone doing some work related things" I asked "how can we prevent something like this happening from the future to ensure my daughters safety?" She said "we're going to continue doing what we're doing, we not doing anything wrong" I was so appalled and humiliated for her. She obviously doesn't have training. I said "excuse me?" She said "this is just where we're at right now" "if you don't feel like your daughter is safe why send her here" I was in so much shock and disbelief that she said that. I responded "you think this is just going to be swept under the rug like it's no big deal? My daughter could've choked and died in her sleep" she said "it's just where we're at right now" I responded "if I have to take my daughter out for a safety concern that could easily be fixed I'm gonna go above and beyond to make sure you're facility gets closed down" "I will NOT allow you guys to treat me like I'm wrong for wanting a plan in place when it come to my daughter safety" I have requested a meeting with Heidi in person, let's see if she gets back to me. I would NEVER want any parent to go through what I went through and be treated the way I have!! I will NOT STOP UNTIL I GET ANSWERS AND CLOSURE. They need to be held accountable for their staffs action. Oh and the sad part, the director was in the class and still couldn't provide answers. They need to retrain their staff or throw them all away and start over. No innocent child should be in a position where they are not cared for, watched properly or safe. Will keep you guys updated once I meet with Heidi and let you know if I get this situation handled properly. I refuse to pull my daughter out. She deserves to be part of graduation like anyone else!! She absolutely loves it, and has progressed so much due to the care and attention she receives from her teachers. She loves going there every morning, and is always happy when we pick her up. We get good, consistent feedback from the staff there, and they genuinely seem happy to see our daughter each day. Also, the new location at 10th and Fillmore is so nice! The 1 star reviews for this place are not accurate at all in our experience, so please be sure to give these guys a try.
