For whatever reason, I'd been having a hard time going to the bathroom. Maybe once every other day…read more For the record, I am an active runner, I walk my dog two hours a day, I'm not overweight, not sedentary, don't smoke or drink. I tried everything you can think of: warm lemon water with honey and ginger, warm prune juice, cold prune juice, room temperature prune juice, prunes (anywhere between 6 and 20 YES TWENTY), ginger, asparagus, apples, bananas, gummy probiotics, smooth move tea, milk of magnesia. Nothing worked except for once when I had TWO smooth move tea bags in one cup I did go quite a bit the next morning, but I really didn't want to have to rely on having two smooth move tea bags every day. So I felt a bit desperate coming to Pure Colonics for the first time, which I honestly just found on Yelp. I was nervous it wouldn't work just like all the other things that hadn't. I met with Gayatri who was so nice, calming, and easy-going. I'd had colonics before where they just leave you in the room alone to fend for yourself but this is not like that. Gayatri was with me the whole time, massaging my stomach and giving me all sorts of great advice on nutrition, diet, mental health, even finance. She gave me book recommendations, acted almost like a therapist (in a good way that was welcoming), and I left there with a bunch of good info. Obviously it's more expensive than smooth move tea, but I think it was a good bang for my buck. In the five days since my colonic, I've gone once OR TWICE (!) a day, which is crazy for me. I'm down two pounds. I feel lighter. The only thing I've changed about my diet is that I've upped my fruit intake during the early part of the day, but other than that, I think it was the colonic that got things moving again. This is a nice, clean, well-run place where I can tell they truly care. And IT WORKS. Thank you Pure Colonics, and thank you everyone for reading this long post about my pooping.

She also used Reiki while helping me stretch out one problem shoulder I had. It was amazing, so I also had a few Reiki treatments from her. I am incredibly grateful for the positive impact that this wellness center is on health journey…read more The team always accommodated me and made the long hour and a half drive worthwhile each time with their exceptional hospitality, private room set up, knowledge, and high quality products. While some may casually mention being willing to travel far for services, this center truly exceeded my expectations. Despite being over 60 miles from East Hampton, where I was vacationing for two months, I needed a colonic after finding them on Google. At the time, they were offering an incredible deal for a package of 3. I knew I had to purchase plus add an extra session to the initial package. I made it a priority to drive to them multiple times for 90 minute extended colonics. Despite initial nervousness about trying an open system without assistance from a Hydro therapist providing a body massage, I was surprised by the effectiveness of their machine and their "Detox Clay." I purchased a second package of 3, totaling 4 sessions and 3 bottles of the "detox clay" and a bottle of body oil on my last session. I will continue supporting this business. Thank you!

Vanessa is the owner and she is awesome as well as her staff. The Colenz - Highly recommended that you take the fiber, or even the clay they have for purchase it's make the process smooth and less cramping depending on much much build up you have in your colon. Also recommend doing a Juice fast before or after the cleanse which Vanessa sells as well. This is the best way to get a colonic I have done research and also had it done other ways and this is truly the safest and best way. And if you are into Hot Yoga. I recommend doing a class of hot yoga and getting cleansed after. You will feel amazing and a lot of toxins will go out. They have 2 other locations which are in Garden City, and now NJ. Not only do they offer the Colenz, but they have the Fitwrap- it makes you sweat and lose inches The Footbath- it lets you know what toxins are in your body The Suna, and also ear candling which was a very interesting experience and a few more services that I haven't tried yet. Best Colonics Ever!…read more I've been getting colonics for over 20 years, and the best have been from Cassie Karopkin. I've been seeing her for about 10 years now. Cassie has a deep knowledge of the digestive system, vegan diet, and overall wellness. Her Chelsea studio is comfortable, clean, and peaceful. I've recommended many friends who are new to colon therapy, and they always feel at ease with Cassie's warm, friendly approach. She's genuinely curious about mind-body wellness herself and loves sharing her favorite podcasts, health books, vegan spots and wellness travel experiences, in case her clients want to explore those areas of interest too. The sense of community she creates -- sharing a lifestyle that nourishes mind, body, and spirit -- is what Cassie exudes, and it's contagious.
