An absolute gem in Brookings!…read more Fiona Bean is such an unexpected and delightful find. The shop offers a beautiful, thoughtfully curated mix of gifts, cozy loungewear, stylish clothing, jewelry, fragrances, and luxurious body care. Every corner feels intentional, unique, and full of charm--you can tell real care went into selecting each item. Whether you're looking for a special gift or something just for yourself, this is the kind of place you'll want to linger in. It's rare to find a boutique with such a great balance of quality, variety, and personality, especially in a coastal town. The ladies that run the shop are incredible and have an eye for buying just the right things. I just bought the coziest dress! If you're in Brookings, Fiona Bean is an absolute must-stop. I make a point to stop in at least once a week as each trip I seem to find something that I had not seen before. So glad to have found Fiona Bean!!!

We came downtown to look for a store we always liked coming to that used to sell t-shirts and jam…read moreand cute girlie stuff but sadly we saw it was closed down and boarded up! So sad. Luckily the first store we checked out while walking around was this one, and it's absolutely lovely inside. Everything was so cute and beautifully displayed, the store smelled incredible, and the products were nicer than your typical made in China tchotchkes that I hate. My daughter immediately found some hand crafted soap and bought a few to gift me as well! There were lots of oil fragrances, clothes and cute stuffed animals, in addition to kitchen stuff and more. We would definitely come back when in the area.

H Street Antiques & Interiors - Beautiful vintage French marquetry table I purchased from H Street as a vanity table :)

This antique store is not to be missed!!! They carry such high quality, unique, beautiful pieces…read morethat it's hard to leave with just one thing. Prices are fair, service is great and I can't wait to go back. Thank you Karen and Jeff! I see why you've been in business 20 years.

I'm going to start out by saying the couple greeted us as soon as we walked through the door. Their…read moreselection and variety was fabulous. Very nicely put together and clean. And their prices range from reasonable to a little more than I would have expected. But that happens with antiques. They were friendly enough while we were there. . But then we found out two days later, that apparently we weren't the type of customers that they wanted in their store. They completely judged Us by our appearance, and told our friend that we were not welcome to come back and that they had debated on calling the police on us while we were there. This really took me by surprise since I thought we were pleasant and respectful. I was very careful about how I touched anything, and I even left my umbrella by the door. I'm not really sure what brought this on other than just judging a book by its cover. I will probably not return to that store. Even though there were a few items I was very interested in. So as much as I would love to give them a four or better, star rating, because of their behind our backs attitude I'm only giving them a two.

In this age where EVERYONE carries a camera in their pocket, I can't believe that I was chastised…read morefor taking a photo of a cute sign. There was no sign saying I couldn't, and that's a stupid outdated policy in today's world anyway. It's how we share with friends, spreading the word about what we like. I was trying to get a shot of a sign I wanted to send to some friends and she walked up to me like I'm a kid and said "Photography is not allowed." (For the record I'm in my 70s.) I guess the logic is I'll photograph it, go home and recreate it, spending way more time and money that would make it more expensive than simply shelling out the $7 for it. Really? C'mon, use some logic. Because of the condescension, I left the store instead of staying and buying something else. So, because she wouldn't let me take a simple photo to share on social media, which could have generated some more customers, she lost whatever sales I would have provided, shot a hole in the goodwill it would have created, and generated this poor review. Smooth move, better to make customers feel welcome and let them share than insulted and lose sales. But, who knows? Maybe it's some brilliant marketing strategy I just don't see.

Pretty cool selection of stuff! I even had my eyes on a pretty funny sign and was looking forward…read moreto asking for a price. But after looking around we noticed we were obviously being followed, as if we were about to steal. For the record, we're hispanic and everyone else looking around was left alone. Quickly left after that.
