The friendly guys at Monro completely saved my day (and my life!). They were absolute angels…read more Driving into Providence from South County, I realized something was dangerously off with my brakes.. I'd had past good experiences with this Monro, and they're located near cafes, in case the wait was going to be long, Not only did they have room to fit me in with only a short wait, I arrived there at 4pm and needed to have my car drivable to get to an artist-showcase by 6:30. And I also needed my car for a 4-hour road trip the next day. My entire brake system needed an urgent replacement - my car was un-drivable. The guys at this Monro fixed it all, and I got to relax at a cafe around the corner. Was it cheap? Definitely not. Would I have found less expensive service somewhere else? Maybe, but with what time?? In life, you spend money or you spend time and today, I had no time to spend. I made it to my art-event on time with my car brakes working as good as new and that's what matters. I didn't die on the highway today. I'm so grateful to Monro and I'll recommend them to anyone!

To Whom It May Concern,…read more I am formally filing a complaint regarding my treatment by the Midas location on Reservoir Avenue in Cranston. I have been a loyal customer for approximately four years. On the day in question, Nick instructed me to drop my vehicle off at 8:00 a.m. for service. I did exactly that. After receiving no communication for hours, I called around 11:00 a.m. and was informed that my vehicle would not be serviced. The fact that no one contacted me and simply left my vehicle sitting there for hours is completely unacceptable. My time was wasted, and no service was provided despite my willingness to pay for the work. I also find it deeply concerning that personal feelings appeared to play a role in this decision. Business decisions should be based on professionalism, not personal disagreements. I specifically want to address Nuno Aguiar. I purchased a vehicle through him and have spent thousands of dollars repairing and maintaining it since buying the burden of a "car". That experience has been a significant financial burden, and I cannot ignore the role it has played in my loss of confidence in this business. I also want to address Rob, who hung up on me during our conversation. Regardless of any disagreement, hanging up on a long-time customer is unprofessional and disrespectful. The facts are simple: I was told to bring my car in at 8:00 a.m., I complied, I received no communication, I had to call for answers myself, and I was ultimately denied service after waiting for hours. That is not acceptable customer service. Midas has lost a customer who trusted this business, paid for services, and remained loyal for years. My trust in this location has been completely broken, and I will be taking my business elsewhere. In addition to the significant mechanical issues I experienced with the vehicle I purchased, I was also subjected to conduct that I found unacceptable and unprofessional. During my interactions with the dealership, I was met with threats, vulgar language, and obscene remarks. Nuno Aguiar's son, Tyler, followed me outside and made threatening comments directed toward my boyfriend. I found this behavior intimidating, inappropriate, and completely inconsistent with the level of professionalism customers should expect from a business. I attempted to address my concerns regarding the vehicle and sought a reasonable resolution. Instead, I was left feeling disrespected and mistreated. Regardless of any disagreement, customers should be treated with courtesy and professionalism. The conduct I experienced fell far below that standard. Based on my experience, both the condition of the vehicle and the manner in which I was treated were extremely disappointing and unprofessional. I expect this complaint to be reviewed by management and documented accordingly Angela Michael
