I took my Chevy Malibu in to Collision Craft to get some body work done on it on Tuesday and got it back within a couple days. I had to get the grill and bumper replaced. They matched the paint perfectly. Not only was the body work great, but they also cleaned car and detailed it and put flowers in it and a couple starbursts in there with a "thank you" note. I have been to Collision Craft for body work on my GMC Acadia on several occasions (unfortunately).... But fortunately I just happened to find the best body shop in the Flathead Valley. Starting with the estimates which are quick and easy. First, a drive through estimate garage clearly visible from HWY 2 makes it easy to just pull into and have your estimate performed. Mark went through the process and by the time I was home their emailed estimate was waiting for me. Easy as can be. And did I mention to profession office staff. I'm pretty sure they keep the gears greased at Collision Craft. I have been there 3 times as I recall. It all seems so painless I can barely remember. Once, several years ago was on account of a mishap with ice and a telephone pole, and just a few months ago I was back because another driver ran into me. After a deer hit our Toyota Highlander at night on the freeway and damaged the front headlight and driver's side door panels, our insurance company referred us to Collision Craft and one other auto repair shop in Kalispell that were on their preferred list. Since we are new to the area (staying with family for a few months), I checked the Yelp reviews for them and was impressed with reports of how similar "deer suicides" were repaired by the Collision Craft crew. So we took our car there and we were not disappointed -- Diane and Christie were very helpful in getting our claim processed (as was our insurance company's estimator Ward). Despite waits due to CC having to order parts plus 2 short year-end holiday weeks, the repairs were done when promised and the Highlander looks great (nice paint job!). We also appreciate the patience and small kindnesses provided along with the repair services -- including flowers and chocolate kisses for us left inside our car when we picked it up! Highly recommend the CC crew for auto body work, esp in NW Montana where road hazards can be surprising for Los Angelenos like us! read more

AWFUL! They took 49 days to fix my car. It had 15k damage and was only worth 17k . They didn't even both to but the license plate holder on and the service light stays on. Their is still a dent in the hood and now the trade in value is $12,000. It took four days for them to get me a rental car that was filthy! AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COST!!! read more

After an accident our insurance company requested we take the car to Collision Craft for an assessment and to be fixed. The folks there were incredibly helpful-- they kept us up to date as they were assessing the damage to let us know if the car would be totaled before they submitted it to the insurance company. It was going to take some time to get all the parts in and do the repairs, and even though we didn't have rental car coverage from our insurance, Collision Craft rented us a car while ours was in the shop because all their loaner cars were out. I felt like they went above and beyond to take care of us, and like we were their priority, not the insurance company. I would definitely take our car back to them! read more

USAA gave me Collision Craft and another auto body operation as my choice,and after doing some online research of customer feedback, I decided to go with Collision Craft. This was a nice outfit to do business with...their communication was excellent. I got email updates each day telling me my progress, and they also have an option where you can log on and see pictures of the repair progress at the end of each day. I really liked the office staff and their assistance in getting me lined up with a rental car. When they started to get into the repairs they found a bit more damage than the initial estimate and they sent photos to USAA and got everything approved. My car looked great when I went to pick it up. Very professional and friendly and a very nice touch besides getting back a clean car is that they give the ladies flowers and a thank you card and a little treat in the car. These are normal people trying hard to make a living, like the rest of us. The trouble though is that there are expectations on all of us to do a decent job - in what we do. Collision Craft fell short on one basic expectation, repairing the damages to my vehicle. The people are nice and polite and they are good with the schmoozing. The free rental car was a nice, impressive hook. At the end of the day, I still want my vehicle fixed 100 percent. I have had to wait months for a part to come in and my truck while I'm driving it is not completely repaired. today my insurance company notified me that Collision Craft would be cutting me a check in the amount for the part and labor that they were not able to follow through with. I will be taking the money and having a different auto body repair shop take care of the remaining business on my vehicle. This is disappointing. I have no energy, following shoulder surgery, to find the part myself. Imagine if my shoulder surgeon told me that we got 95 percent of the work done but we will cut you a check for you to finish the remaining five percent. Am I unreasonable to expect my vehicle to be fixed completely? I think not. I will revisit Able Body, Ohs, and other shops. read more
