We are more than 3,000 miles from home and did not want her riding in the back seat all the way back to a Tesla service center. We called OHS' Body Shop in Columbia Falls. Mark told us to come on in. In about 15 minutes he had the problem fixed and we were back on the road -- and he did it at no charge. That kind of help, when you are a long way from home, is rare. My mom Honda fit has a short or something wrong on the dash display that off and on has the fuel gauge info and millage display lines and hashes.
