Took my car to Burnside Automotive after a car accident. They were decent with communication during the process and got it done in a reasonable time frame. If it was just body/frame fixes, I'd have no complaints there. The problem came right after pickup. They power washed the car before handing it back (which is standard, I get it), but when I got to work and looked closer, the paint on the hood and front areas was chipping and flaking off in spots. It looked like the high-pressure wash blew off sections where the adhesion wasn't strong enough--paint peeled away easily, exposing primer or bare spots. This happened basically from their own cleaning, not from me driving to work that was only 10 mins away. I went back after work . They checked it and accuse me of picking the paint and refused to take responsibility even though it was their wash that caused the chipping. No offer to touch it up, repaint the affected areas, or even cover. Just brushed it off and sent me on my way. Felt really disappointing after otherwise solid work on the accident repair. If you're dealing with a bad crash and need reliable body work, they might do okay structurally. But for owning up when their process damages it? Not impressed. I'll be going elsewhere for any touch-ups or future needs. Take before/after pics of any cleaning, and consider a shop that stands behind the full job.

There was a big language barrier -- I speak only English, they spoke only Spanish -- and using a translator only helped a little. About 20 minutes after picking up my car, my check engine light came on. I immediately had it diagnosed at AutoZone and sent the results to JR Body Collision, but I never received a response. I also noticed my air conditioner wasn't working. JR Body Collision referred me to another mechanic and even drove me there. The mechanic was very helpful, diagnosed the problem, and confirmed the check engine light was still on. JR Body Collision told this mechanic they would pay for my A/C repairs. Once the repairs were done, JR Body Collision suddenly told me I would need to pay half of the cost, even though they had already told the mechanic they would cover it. Thankfully, the mechanic honored the original agreement and did not charge me. While I appreciated that they helped get my car repaired, the poor communication and last-minute change about paying for the A/C repair left a bad impression. I would caution others to be clear and get everything in writing if you choose to use this shop.

We took our car to this shop to get fixed and they made the car worse then lied about it. September 14th I met up with the manager and was told to go next door and order parts for my ($400 in parts) 2017 Honda Civic. I was told they would paint the bumper on the 15th and put everything in on the 16th. They didn't pain the bumper until the day of and it was a terrible paint job. Paint running. You can see where they tried to scrape paint off. September 16th I bring the car in, they were to put on a radiator support and a new bumper. When I go to pick up the car the mansuor the man that worked on the car tried to act like all my service lights were on when I dropped it off when this wasn't the case. Before I dropped the car off it was driving perfectly fine never had any issues with how the car drove, and the only serivice lights that was on was the tire light. Automatically he states that he did not touch anything electrical. Why he felt the need to point that out? We found out shortly after. He asked if we want to drive it and he gets in the driver seat to try and avoid me from driving it. When I asked to drive the car it did not drive the same at all. There was no power to my car. He then states that it must be a system issue. Drives the car around the corner nowhere to be seen instead of driving it back into the shop to fix it. Then later on he states to my wife that there was three wires that he accidentally broke while trying to fix the cars and is joking about it like it was funny. He brings the car back and it's driving better but all the lights were still on. He stated that the lights would go off in 60k miles. I drive to work and on my way home I stop at the gas station and as soon as I go to leave the car loses power again and shuts off. We take it back to the shop and the guy is nowhere to be found when he knew we were bringing the car in. Some new guys worked on it. Stated the car should be fixed and good to go now. It wasn't we were driving to work and the car overheated and shut off. We open the hood and the radiator cap wasnt put on correctly. The cap to my battery is missing, the stick to hold up the hood is now broken as well as the latch to lock the hood. The whole situation was terrible. Idk how people actually take their vehicle here.
