Matt and team took the time to properly diagnose my vehicle and worked through the logical steps before recommending major repairs. They even found one issue that was simply a disconnected component, and fixed it on the spot without taking advantage of the situation. My recent experience here was not only a prime example of unethical billing but also a horrifying instance of mechanical negligence that nearly cost me my life. ​Initially, their inspection report stated that I only needed to replace my rear brake pads. However, the final estimate and invoice heavily inflated the scope of work, charging me for rear brake pads, rotors, and a brake fluid exchange. ​The real nightmare began a few days after I got my car back. While driving, a brake caliper bolt completely fell out. This is an absolutely unacceptable and fatal error for a mechanic to make. Due to their incompetent work, my brakes failed, and it could have easily resulted in a deadly accident. ​I managed to slowly and carefully limp my car to a nearby, different auto shop to get it safely re-attached and repaired. When I contacted Team Ryan to demand a refund for their botched brake job as well as the emergency repair costs from the other shop, their response was completely absurd. They agreed to reimburse the cost of the emergency repair but blatantly refused to refund the original brake job, claiming that "the work was already done." ​They charged me for unnecessary parts, performed incredibly dangerous and sloppy work that endangered my life, and still felt entitled to keep the money for the labor they completely botched. ​If you value your safety, your life, and your hard-earned money, do not bring your car to Team Ryan. This is not a shop you can trust. ​[UPDATE in response to the owner's reply] ​It is terrifying that you publicly classify leaving a brake caliper bolt loose on a heavy vehicle as mere "human error" rather than "severe negligence." Failing to properly secure a critical life-safety component is the absolute definition of negligence. ​Yes, you paid for the secondary shop's emergency repair--but only because your botched work left me stranded with an imminent catastrophic failure. However, you conveniently left out the fact that you are STILL refusing to refund the nearly $1,000 I paid YOU for the original, dangerously defective brake job. ​"Standing behind your work" should mean fully refunding a service that actively put a customer's life at risk, not just paying off the emergency fix while pocketing the money for the failed job. My warning to other drivers stands: Avoid this place.

I expect nothing short of the best as these are expensive machines and as much as I enjoy getting on that throttle, I do not play around with maintenance. My wife knew I wanted to do more with the car, however, I have been down the tuning road before and ran into many problems. It took some time for me to warm up to the crew (personally I jived with them great, however, I am always hesitant when it comes to business) she introduced me to. I have had them do all of my EVO's maintenance on top of the Outlander Sport and not only have they been upfront with costs and expectations, but also ethical. Allen in particular has been nothing but encouraging with a touch of conservative as they blend performance and reliability. To sum it up, if you are looking for a crew that does great work alongside taking pride in their work, you should at least check them out. I have since had them install my Cobb Stage 3 kit on the EVO X MR and have been nothing but happy with the installation process. I cannot speak for every car but I do know Allen knows his EVO's and that's reassuring. I'm looking forward to enjoying the journey with these guys and my one wish for them is to always uphold integrity and continue to work towards the industry in which they clearly love. A true car enthusiast I even consider him a friend of mine at this point. It was very easy getting my appointment set up I brought the car in they diagnosed the problem very quickly and replaced my O2 sensors after having that work done by them I was very comfortable sending my car back recently for a new intake system because my previous one was four years old and I wanted to replace. The work was done on time and professionally installed with no issue, they even custom fit me a hose they couldn't find due to back order issues. But the next day they found the part and put it on free of charge! I was very pleased with the way it looks, Alan the owner is super cool and very easy to work with. I will keep coming here for anything and everything on all my cars. Doesn't matter if you have a performance car or a daily driver, they will repair and service. Engine swaps to oil changes they got you covered. If you want professional work and great customer service then this is the place to go I am having some other issues with my car that they cannot fix (due to specific tuning and software specific to my car) but Alan sent me right to a tuning shop who are very professional and knowledgeable. All it took was a phone call * I noticed another review about being overpriced I would have to disagree.
