They quoted $450 and said we had a 1500 gal. tank. They came out, pumped the tank, said everything look great, and there saw no problems. The driver did not tell me how much was pumped. A few people on a local newsgroup said Ace also charged them for 1500 gal., but their tank was only 1,000 gal., so called the health dept, who confirmed ours is only 1000 gal. I asked Ace why they have been charging us for 1500. They said there are a number of reasons why more than a 1,000 gal. could have more waste - heavy rain, backups, etc. - none of which were true in my case. The problem is they quoted $450 and said we had a 1500 gal tank BEFORE they even came out. They have pumped our tank 3 times and each time charged for 1500 gal. They refused to refund us the $125 difference. We will not be using their services again.

We live in Oak Harbor, Purchased our previous Kinetico products from a business 15 miles away, Fremont Ohio in the 90's & had great service. Unfortunately they had sold out and the new business Findlay and was not very helpful when I called in with questions regarding my system, prices had went up on salt & system needs. In 2012 they weren't helpful in answering if my 7 or 8 year old RO drinking water system was compatible with new tech refrigerator. Just pressing me to buy a new one and not really explaining what was going on. Googled & called TWC, the lady that answered, was prompt, informative and professional. She had a gentleman quickly call us back for information / pricing & what tech had changed pressure needs of new refrigerators & no hard sell!!. At the time TWC was much cheaper than Findlay, and were able to even work out a trade on our old Kinetico RO. Since then, I have bought products , had some mailed to save time. I've had great service by all staff & Norb on site. I'd also like to note the old Kinetico needed to be replaced after 26 years of working beautifully in 2019. Again, TWC provided a great price, prompt service on the replacement and respect of my property for the install as if it were their own home. TWC is definitely a go to place for your Kinetico. Also, I might add, I was impressed with Kinetico softener lasting with long time compared to the big box, stores with really, really hard country water in my area.

I cannot begin to report that Durochers had the best salespeople and delivery workers I have ever seen in the appliance business. For starters, saleswoman Kathy C. went out of her way to help me with scheduling my most recent delivery. Even on her day off, she kindly helped me with some questions I asked her about. The delivery and installation men were Superlative. I had the best experience with Justin and Stephen. They were very prompt and gave me updates on when they would arrive, complete with texted maps of where they were in terms of getting to my house. Their installation was very well done, and I contribute that to the attention to detail they had in doing it. They was extremely courteous and respectful. I give Durochers great credit for having delivery and service people like these two young men. Outstanding! I have always been pleased with the appliances, service and delivery at Durochers. In addition when I needed a broken refrigerator shelf replaced the service department was excellent. I actually received the shelf a day after I ordered it. I was also given information on how to get reimbursed by the glass company as the shelf was still under warranty. ( I want to add that I had a $500 gift certificate from Lowes that I could have used, but preferred to deal with Durochers instead. By dealing with them I avoided the aggravation and hassles in dealing with a big box store that I felt could care less about its' customers).

When we closed in April, we noticed that the warming drawer did not close straight or flush and has a gap of about 1/2" at the top. After notifying the builder, we nobody came out to look at it until May 19. The tech that came couldn't fix it but identified that it was installed with the rear higher than the front and that the installers would have to fix it and that he'd order some parts for them (not sure what parts). After nothing for a month, I contacted the person who sold the appliance on Jun 16. He responded that some parts were on order and he'd have to schedule instllers to come out. I asked what was on order and when installers would come out but have recieved no response. I've left multiple voice mails on his phone line and at both the Monroe and Sylvania stores in addition to my email inquiries. All have been ignored. It is now Jul 30 (2-1/2 months) and still nobody has contacted me.

They scheduled an appointment for the next day and their technicians came on time and put a new, simpler thermostat that did not need to use an app or the Internet to work. The fan bearing had gone out and they did not fix, yet the he stated I had to tell their tech that I wanted it fixed. ? Seriously? I have to direct their technicians, even though I have been paying close to $500 annualy for their VIP program? He later wanted to reimburse me for the VIP and NOT fix the problem to avoid taking care of it. After a final legal threat, a tech was sent out to replace. They have no after hours support even though they claim to. Their on-call tech was sick when we called. He could not reach his backup or the Serv Mgr. Extremely poor management in my opinion. I contacted another Carrier HVAC company and they came out immediately as I smelled something foul in the house. They discovered that poisenous gases were in our house from a plugged heat exchanger. This same heat exchanger and model had a Class Action from over 20 years ago which Pugh did not notify me of or take advantage of. They had waited too long and compensation for a replacement had expired, now. This is inexcussable to allow to happen on Pugh's part. Thankfully, we have seperated and I now have a new furance and a company that I can trust my life with.
