Prices are crazy. No way am I going to spend $300 on a tree. I can get a permit for $10 and cut my own or go to a big box store and pay $80. Totally taking advantage of people. Shame on you!!! read more

Didn't want to forget to post this based on our awesome experience with this business this last Christmas. The folks here have made it sooooo easy to get an excellent tree and service was top notch. We were able to select a tree online and pay online, and have it delivered to our house..amazing. We will be using them again next Christmas so thanks again to an excellent local business doing it right! Have been going here now multiple years since our previous favorite tree lot has not moved farther away from Castro Valley. I can definitely say this is our family's new favorite lot! The staff is so cordial and always wanting to help out. Pricing is right. Beautiful trees. Beautiful flocking. Great location in Dublin next to the old Toys R Us. Beautiful Oregon trees. I love this place so much I asked if I could purchase a hat from them and they happily let me. This will be our families go to Christmas Tree lot as long as they're around:) read more

Such a disappointing experience this year :( I visited this tree lot 5 times before I finally found a tree here. I felt like the tree selection throughout this area was not so great this year to begin with, so when I FINALLY found one, I was pretty excited. We paid $184 for an 8ft Normand tree (flocked). I requested it to be medium flocked, with heavy flocking at the tips. I didn't mind paying $5 a ft to have it flocked, but $45 for this is not what I was expecting. There's more green than there is white and there are plenty of places on the tree where there isn't any flocking at all :( we also asked them to cut the bottom of the tree for us (to have a fresh cut, and also to take the wood X at the bottom off because it had a dozen thick nails in it) and they said that they didn't do that for flocked trees. I was happy to have found something so close to home, but for as much as I paid for this tree, it definitely wasn't worth it to revisit here next year. One star for location and one for the guy working there always saying hi or by when we walked through. Such a bummer though :( read more

So this morning I decided to take my girls to the Christmas tree lot at the Mt Shasta mall and DAMN, the trees are beautiful. I've never seen trees on a lot that were so full and healthy looking. They were also very reasonably priced. Their flocked trees are absolutely amazing with varying degrees of flocking from a light dusting where it looks like the snow is resting on the branches to a full blown whiteout. They have mastered the art of making the tree look as though the snow has fallen on the tree and not just sprayed white and calling it a day. I also met Brian who owns the farm where these trees are grown. He told me that this is his first time in Redding so if you guys are looking for a beautiful tree, I'd highly recommend this place. Stopped by here unexpectedly after going to the mall. It was raining so I didn't really want to get out of my car. But after seeing how beautiful and lush the trees were from my warm car, I was more than willing to brave the damp and cold weather. I purchased a 6ft flocked Douglas Fir and can not be more pleased. The customer service was top notch. They double bagged the tree to keep it from getting wet and tied it to my car securely. The owner was extremely helpful and kind. After our usual tree lot moved to Livermore, I wanted to find a new lot somewhere closer to home (Pleasanton). I read some great reviews of Colley Tree Farm from some Facebook friends, so decided to check them out. So glad we did! Great selection of trees, super friendly and helpful staff. We drove home with a gorgeous 7' noble fir which they kindly bagged for us for easy transport. It's their first year in Pleasanton, traveling down from Oregon. Would love to see them drum up more business this year so they'll return next year! Oh, and Santa pops in now and again to say hello. :) read more
