The people who work in this florist are rude! I took my mom in there after my dad passed away to pick out flowers for his service. We literally only were looking for 2 items. We told them it was for my dad's service and they told us they were too busy beings the following week was Mother's Day. As we were walking out the door one of the women who I believe was the owner laughed as she wished us good luck! So rude and insensitive! We immediately drove to New York Florist and he welcomed us and did the most amazing wreath and bouquets I've ever seen AND he was busy that week too! We went to Redding Florist to order a prom corsage. It was a last minute order but the staff at Redding Florist welcomed us! We showed a picture of what we wanted and it was a special order with some extra sentimental items added to the corsage. The staff explained that they could not guarantee the exact flowers because of limited deliveries due to Covid. But they still listened and wrote down what we would like. The final corsage was absolutely gorgeous! It was creative, the exact colors we asked for and everything we had hoped for. They really listened and made a unique piece for us. We've been using this florist for over three years, and have spent quite a bit of money with them , my husband is in Africa working and wanted to send me a special bouquet, he ordered $139 bouquet and when it arrived I took it and set it on the counter and realized that it had a lot of damage flowers I called to talk to the manager or the owner and was told they weren't in for the day, so when my husband FaceTime me and asked me to show him the flowers he was upset so he called him and told him that I didn't like them . August 31 was my birthday and my husband ordered two dozen roses from them and they stuffed them in a little tiny vase, I complain to my Husband about them at the time of delivery because he was home at that time and he agreed with me they were stuffed into a small vase actually took them out and put them in one of my bigger vases. Because it was my birthday my husband called them back and ordered four dozen roses and 10 minutes later when I found out about it I told him know that I would make do with the two dozen that we already had. My husband immediately call them back and told them to cancel the second order and they said they were already working on it and charged us $60 to cancel the arrangement which was only roses so I don't think it went to been that hard to put the roses back and put them in another bouquet for someone else later. at that point I told my husband not to use them ever again but for some reason he have their number stored in his phone. The delivery man came to my door to pick the flowers up and when he came to the door I was going to show him the flowers that were damaged and he said give me the flowers and don't ever call us again and was very rude and said of apologizing and showing up with another bouquet of flowers! I also ordered a bouquet from them to send one of my friends jobs and I had a problem with that one too and called them about it we bit regular customers and they treat us like we're nobody we spend a lot of money on ordering flowers and we definitely will not use this company or recommend them again I mean just look at the flowers how do you send that out to somebody that paid good money. The arrangement had three roses and three lilies and the rest were mums and daisies which I feel are less expensive flowers so to have the flowers be damaged is ridiculous The moment I complain they should've sent me a new bouquet or had an owner or manager call me that's good business read more

Our Great Nephew died in a tragic traffic accident. 3-30-17 I ordered an arrangement with a cross, (paying $98.62 CASH, up front.). Redding Florist wired the arrangement to the Great Nephew's Memorial, which was on 4-3-17, the arrangement got separated from our condolence card, which was later found on the bottom of the delivery truck & then our condolence card was delivered with their apologies with a bud vase, explaining the mishap. The owner of Redding Florist offered to reimburse me my $98.62 CASH, with a check in the U.S. Mail, which I received, 4-10-17. Their was a separate letter saying she had stopped payment on my check of $98.62, as she changed her mind. I went into the Redding Florist I explained I had ordered this arrangement, over a 28 year period, twice, before, & had been happy with their service, but was most unhappy with their service, this time, & asked Deborah for a refund, as agreed, (& I wanted my CASH of $98.62,). She, (Deborah Lynn Smith & her husband, Michael James Smith, co-owners of Redding Florist), REFUSED. I told Deborah I planned to write to the Editor of Redding Searchlight, our local T.V. Stations, BBB, Small Claims Court & write a REVIEW on Yelp.com. Deborah, just rolled her eyes & replied: "Oh, well." I went into Redding Florist, because I have used this florist for over a 28 year period that my husband and I have lived in Redding, CA. I paid cash and I was not told about a phone number, to wire the arrangement, myself, as one of the florists said she had told me, (and yes, I did call her a liar.). I would have expected better treatment from the two owners, Deborah and Michel Smith, at the Redding Florist, Michael said: "You must be our most terrible customer", (saying this in front of their customer's, which was unprofessional.). Michael said he was going to call the police, (I could see he was just pretending to call the police, as he did it right in front of the customers), so I picked up my belongings and just left Redding, Florist, knowing I would do my speaking on YELP and BBB. Which I have done. All I can say to future customers is: BEWARE! I, once was a faithful customer, loyally only purchasing many, many floral arrangements over a 28 year period from Redding Florist. I could not ask for a better florist! This place is small quaint and family owned! I have personally never had a problem and I am 100 percent confident that if I did the would make it right! You don't get customer service like this anymore! Also you get what you pay for and I have been buying flowers my whole life it's just reality that a $60 bouquet isn't going to get you 12 roses designed in a vase and IM sure that was including a delivery fee. these ladies that work there are a mother and her daughters.
