Asked for a cheerful bouquet, mentioned pinks and reds. So much more than I expected.

I would never consider any other florist ever, Keith is wonderful. I live across the country and wanted to send flowers to a relative who struggles with her health, it was her birthday. Keith was a fantastic listener and made a beautiful arrangement and delivered it on time on a Sunday! Not only was the arrangement beautifully done, but Keith went so far above and beyond it was unbelievable. My idiot relatives did not answer me or Keith. I had made arrangements with my brother in advance telling him to expect am delivery because they have a history of not answering calls or doors. Keith made close to 80 phone calls to them to make sure they picked up the flowers so they would not get ruined in the heat. Meanwhile, I spent hours calling them and finally called the police to check on them- turns out one of their daughters had already called it in! Meanwhile, I mixed up Keith's number with another relative and I was furiously texting thinking it was a daughter but it was Keith, responding with care and concern and even consoling me while I sent ever more desperate texts about not reaching the family. I cannot get over how truly, truly caring and kind Keith was to a perfect stranger, that's why I assumed it was the relative. I can only hope this review gets him a ton of business because it will be a long time before I send my sister in law anything again- she didn't feel like talking and told my brother not to call me back yet- despite my desperate messages. If I could nominate Keith for citizen of the year I would- he gave me ideas on how to get a hold of them, never once questioned why I was texting over and over and was so incredibly kind. The flowers were gorgeous too. Thank you so much Keith, you are a wonderful person and great florist!

What florist will call over 90 times to your idiot loved one with the phone off the hook just to make sure the flowers are received and not wilting on the porch? This guy. Also coached back with me and checked in to see if loved one was okay. Heck of a nice guy and great florist! Highly recommended! read more

Keith is great. My wife isn't much on flowers, but I decided to deliver them in a unique way. I asked a bunch of my friends to go to Keith and pick up a single flower and deliver it to her. My friends came through, and so did Keith! Instead of single flowers, he dressed them up with great wrapping and foliage to make them beautiful. And the price was amazing! Definitely my go-to florist from here on out! read more

I called New York flowers and Keith answered, I told him my bad story. I ordered flowers online. My auntie passed away and the online company did not delivery my flowers they lost them. I called Keith who I did not know, I was hart broken and crying he and his wife jumped into action! I wanted an exotic arrangement for one of them and he called his seller to make sure they had some in stock before completing the transaction. I've always been impressed with this store. My absolute go-to for Redding. I'm a picky guy when it comes to flower shops, I've only ever experienced one place in Humboldt county that was as consistent as NY florist in their quality. He's gifted. Very fairly priced as well. read more

I wanted to shop local from afar so I called Keith and ordered Christmas flowers to be delivered to the family we can't be with this year. Keith suggested a sleigh and the result was beautiful! Amazing! I live pretty far from my mom but wanted to have some flowers delivered to her on Mother's Day. Due to some complications, I was only able to place a delivery very last minute. I called New York florist around 10 am ON Mother's Day and Keith arranged a beautiful bouquet for my mom that she said was one of the most stunning arrangements she's ever seen. What's amazing is that even though I called so last minute, he still got it delivered to her by 2pm. Amazing service read more

I ordered an arrangement for my mother's 86th birthday from NYF website on Friday for a Monday delivery. Monday morning at 10:46am I received an email saying the order could not be filled because they had run out of flowers (Mother's Day). When I called the shop the owner, I presume, was very rude and talked over me so that I could not even get a word in. He told me it wasn't his fault that it was FTD's. He told me that I should have called and talked to him, not order on the internet. My order had nothing to do with FTD. I used the link in yelp to order from his shop. The confirmation email has his logo printed at the top so he must have some affiliation with the company that processed the order. Why is there a link to an order page if he doesn't honor online orders? Why didn't his shop contact me on Saturday if they didn't have enough flowers for orders on Monday? If someone had contacted me earlier I would have been able to make other arrangements but because I wasn't notified until after all the other flower shops delivery time, that wasn't possible. I'm so disappointed that I have nothing for my mother and will never recommend this place and will be sure to tell my Redding friends and family. read more

I told him I didn't want the typical funeral flowers of lilies, carnations, etc. and we wanted more roses, peonies, etc., and Patrick, who we spoke with said, "oh you want like a garden style." We told him that is exactly what we want and we sent him Pinterest pictures. We wanted special vases that we purchased. We sent him a picture and he said he could do that no problem and then he came to our house to pick up the vases. I spoke with him on Monday and the funeral was on Friday and Thursday was New Year's Day. The flowers absolutely blew us away. We were so pleased. And, their prices were very reasonable. We highly recommend Blumen Luneas for your floral needs. You won't be disappointed.

What a wonderful surprise when my doorbell rang on Wednesday & all I could see was this HUGE flower arrangement above some feet! Keith, from New York Florist, said, this is heavy, where would you like it? I told him to follow me to the dining room table, as that would be the best place for it! I was extra pleased to see it was from my niece & her husband from WA. Keith does wonders with flowers! I live in Texas (From Cottonwood originally) and have used other florists in Redding, for over 35 years and this Florist is going to be a keeper. I ordered an arrangement for my M-i-l's birthday, and she loved it! Actually, the whole family did too! I got sent pictures of the arrangement and they were very impressed by how beautiful it was. Arrived in Redding Saturday afternoon to attend a funeral on Monday, but had forgotten to order flowers ahead of time. Found New York Florist online and it was the only one open on Sunday. So I went in and spoke with Keith the owner and he said he didn't have many flowers left, but he would put something together for me and have it delivered to the funeral the next day. I've been getting flowers from them for a few years. They're always beautiful. There's nothing worse then when you purchase flowers and they're dead in two days. The flowers I have ordered from New York Florist here in Redding are always fresh and last a long time. Also they have been great at delivering on short notice.
