After neglecting exercise all of my life, my body began feeling the consequences. For years I bounced between yoga, physical therapy, personal trainers, boxing, deep tissue massage, with little to show for them, and an accelerating rate of injuries. Pilates has helped me understand my body and physiology in ways I never could (sometimes in ways that still don't make rational sense). To not rant on for too long, I can confirm I am hooked on pilates for life. 2. Six Degrees is an incredible studio. Every teacher is supremely skilled not just in their practice but also in coaching. But instead of just taking my word, I think the best evidence is simply the number of students that have been coming to this studio for 10, 15+ years. I can't imagine many other studios and teachers have that kind of track record. It's a special place with special people. P.S. the massages offered there are incredible too. A perfect pairing!

Their membership is high if you compare it to other places in the area that offer the same exact, and even better, classes - at the time I joined, I did not know the Wayne Community Center offered those, and I wish I had because they charge 50% less than Spa23 and have amazing trainers. In all honesty, I'm disappointed at how they handled my last billing. I had decided to set up personal training sessions with a trainer named Ricky, I trusted him and my mistake was not asking questions when we sat down to sign the contract, however, as an employee, he should've made sure I understood what I was signing - he did not explain what his rates were, nor how much I'd be billed for the month, so they billed me $212! I had already moved and canceled my membership with them, but they still billed my account. The person that reached out to me to explain the situation was nice, but no resolution was given - I'm now 45 minutes from Spa23, my money was never refunded, and credits for a different service can't be given. I know people who had gone to Spa23 and ended up leaving, both trainers and members, due to their dislike of it and how much of a "chain management" it had, but I truly didn't think I'd experience that firsthand.

It stinks because rest of gym is quite comfortable, nice and cool. Why wouldn't they invest in some ceiling fans to circulate the air at least?? at the rates they charge? when I joined my current gym I made a comment about the temps there as well... about a week or 2 later, they went and installed fans in every corner of the gym to circulate the air. I was impressed. My current gym is much smaller, their fees are more than half of Spa 23, and they are 24/7 which is huge for me, and its nice and cool. Their treadmills even have little fans built in which are pretty strong. So I will not be returning here... too bad, they're equipment is pretty impressive.

I had prior injuries that was aggravated by my experience with my previous trainer and doing CrossFit with an inexperienced and under-qualified CrossFit Coach. I had gained a lot of weight during my senior year of college due to stress, depression from a really bad break up with my ex-girlfriend, and regularly being around alcohol and bad food. I was moving back to the area when I stumbled upon an ad for Krank. I was initially hesitant to come in and try it out at first due to my previous experience doing CrossFit and the intimidating cult like culture I had experienced. I had met LJ, the owner, his assistant and GM Josel, and trainer Valerie during my first week working out at Krank. At that point I had recently just quit smoking and drinking. What I loved during my first week was the non-judgmental and supportive nature of everyone working out. It was still a very intense workout, competitive, but most of all what I loved was I felt like I was part of a family. Getting in shape doesn't have to be tedious, monotonous, and boring. LJ and his team are highly experienced professionals with years of experience in the fitness industry. I love working with LJ, what makes him different is his caring and down to earth attitude. He's not your typical gung-ho trainer. He's very dedicated to helping you get in the best shape possible with a sharp attention to detail and up-to-date and innovative approach to fitness. Josel his assistant is also a very dedicated trainer with a background in physical therapy and is also a former athlete. I enjoyed working with him as he's incorporated physical therapy and rehabilitation into his group training and one-on-one sessions. I used to suffer from chronic lower back pain and a tight neck before I started incorporating Josel's methodology. It's been 8 months, I'm not depressed anymore, I've dropped tons of body fat, gotten rid of my chronic injuries, packed on 15 pounds of lean muscle, and have tons of energy. If you want to get the group fitness experience, never be bored working out, & have the one-on-one training all packed into one, I highly suggest you try it out for a week. Now, magically they are no longer handling the account and I'm suddenly being sent to collections. Completely unacceptable. This company has been an absolute failure when it comes to customer support, communication, and basic account management. Instead of resolving a legitimate billing issue caused by their own system failures, they've chosen to harass a former customer over charges that should never have existed in the first place. At this point, I'd rather just pay the money and never deal with this gym or ABC Fitness Solutions again. That's how exhausting and frustrating this entire process has been. Avoid if you value transparent billing practices or competent customer service.

F45 has a few different membership options and offers student and military discount (same discount). The classes here are excellent! The atmosphere is extremely encouraging and it's nice to just walk in and have your (super efficient, 45 minute) workout planned for you. To me that is awesome because it makes a trainer have to work harder and keep themselves up to date with new exercises, I am writing this long review because I have been with other trainers and they suck. They put you on a treadmill for 20 minutes and leave you there! Why would I pay for someone to do that when I can walk by myself... Anyway, this is a really cool place, I did get a free training session out of the chat and can't wait to see what is in store next week.
