I was walking around little Italy in need of a frozen beverage. I got exactly what I wanted in my frozen margarita!!! It's a great balance of booze and sweetness. They also have henny colada's!! I popped by for happy hour and it was a steal at $10. Service is quick, noise is average for a restaurant. I will definitely be back here this summer. read more

Gambling on a new delivery spot in this city is always Russian Roulette, and my first round with this place was a straight-up crime scene. The Strawberry Lemonade, a heavy rotation of Tacos, and enough hope to fill a second order after the first one went sideways. Let's get the ugly out of the way first. My maiden voyage here was a disaster--the bag arrived looking like it had gone twelve rounds with a subway turnstile. The birria consommé had breached the hull, soaking everything in a grease-bomb catastrophe. I'm a forgiving guy--I know the hustle, I know delivery drivers don't always care--so I ran it back for a second try. The food arrived intact this time, but we were still missing items. Someone in that kitchen needs to double-check the ticket before the bag gets stapled shut. However, here is why I'm still typing: the food actually lives up to the social media hype. The tacos are a solid four stars--good tortilla texture, meat seasoned right, nothing to complain about. But the real heavyweight champion is that fresh Strawberry Lemonade. It is genuinely out of this world. I threw it over some extra ice at home, and it was the kind of refreshing that makes you forget about the headache of getting it there. The logistics are a mess and you might have to roll the dice on actually receiving your full order, but that lemonade alone is almost worth the gamble. read more

No fancy atmosphere here but don't let that deter you from coming in. The food was bomb.com. Yup you can tell I'm no young'in anymore lol. My dad ate the sizzling mixed meat fajita- shrimp, steak and chicken. It also came with rice and beans on the side. He couldn't even finish it and that man loves his belly. I had the corn- I can't remember what you call that kind of salt thing they sometimes add on the brim of margaritas but it was added on the corn and it was tooo too much for me. Couldn't finish it because of the salty taste. My steak tostada was delish. Ate every bite plus I had the birria tacos with the intention of giving it to my son but nope my greedy self ate it all smh. Get a margarita or 2. I left stuffed and buzzed. Go ahead and check them out. read more

Was here on a Saturday for lunch. My cousin was visiting from Italy and she has never had tacos before so we decided to try Colima Taqueria because I usually order their rice bowls and they're amazing. As the pictures show we ordered the Pollo Asado tacos and the Birria Tacos and let me tell you the best TACOS I've ever had!!!! The birria ones were TO DIE FOR!!! My cousin was in a big cultural shock moment as she enjoyed every bite of it. Overall we enjoyed everything we ordered, the guacamole as well! Totally recommend it! Service was incredible the staff is so friendly and is very attentive! Loved that they recommend the best tacos for someone who's never had them before. Loved the inside atmosphere and ambiance will definitely return here to try other tacos! Can not wait!! read more

So I will admit I am easily influenced. I have ordered from here several times in sites like Uber eats but felt the need to come in person. I came to the one in little Italy The Bronx. While its small it does have sitting room and is welcoming for those who would like to dine in. They also offer outdoor seating too. I came in on a Friday around 3pm. They actually had a lot of traffic at this time and a full house. Originally I was on the fence about my waiter and his service . He was not as on point as I expected. But I later chalked it up to him being a little socially awkward. I ordered a lime mojito, elote, and 3 tacos. The mojito was a good treat. I did not expect a quality and strong drink from a razzle dazzle taqueria. My drink was the quality of a drink from a "bar". I personally was not a fan of the elote but that was my fault. I forgot to tell them very light tajin. The corn was a good size, tender, and sweet. It was heavily cheesed and tajin. I got 3 different tacos. The queso surf and turf, pollo asado, and baja fried fish. I did not care for the fish taco. The protein was small and skimpy. Felt like I was eating an overcooked fishstick drenched in coleslaw. The pollo asado was ok. Felt like the "tacos" I make when I have felt over chicken and tortillas at home. However the star of the show is hands down surf and turf. This and the mojito are the reason I am going back. I was not there for Happy Hour yet my check was affordable. I would give this place 3 based on social media over hyped it but as a local taqueria it deserves a 4. (Pure food not service) I will be returning but would want to catch happy hour or taco Tuesday and I will try their new location as well. True 3.5 read more

Came in for a drink and steak fajitas. Restaurant was clean with a grade A window in the window. Food came out quick! Drinks are on the small side for a regular margarita so next time I would get the frozen one for a couple $ more, I will order the mango one next time. Food came out quick and service was good. read more

Good services, drinks n food.............................................................

Very delicious food and great drinks to match. Our waitress was very sweet and helped us alot. Must come here.

Food was great I got the Al pastor tacos and paloma and the corn and churros were fantastic.

Very cute place that I randomly stumbled upon while in little Italy, Arthur Avenue searching for somewhere to have lunch. They served Authentic Mexican juices like horchatas and Jamaica. As well as different Mexican dishes and ramen. The server who was also the owners son was really nice. I enjoyed the food. The place was very vibrant and welcoming. read more

The food is really good I love it there and they are super nice and they serve us okay

The whole theme and ambience was Excellent, the aesthetics of the place wants to make you stay there for ever its just perfect. Service was extremely quick, waiters were nice. Birria tacos were a 9.5 only due to the grease, maybe it was due to the Chesse, the consomé was extremely good, a bit greasy just a tiny bit. I don't recommend the alpastor nor the steak. 5.5 alpastor, weird taste and the 3.0 to the steak IT WAS GREASY. Overall, their pollo asado was the best in my opinion, their guacamole was extremely good but their chips were greasy, let it drain my boy.... Finally, I give this place a 8.7 out of 10... Go visit the place and show some love their price is are affordable for all. read more

Ordered delivery from Colima Taqueria since I was a bit further uptown for work and noticed a few good reviews regarding their birria tacos con consome on a delivery app so decided to give it a try. I'll say the birria tacos with the consome was definitely on point! Tons of flavor and the consome was great to tip the tacos into. Everything was well seasoned. Would definitely recommend trying these if you happen to be in the area or looking for some good food to be delivered. Looking forward to trying other items on their menu! read more

The early afternoon staff is much more inviting than the young, inexperienced, prejudice staff in the evening. They clearly have no organization and they are "culturally selective" and quite obvious about it. When choosing who gets seated during busy hours, be able to speak the language or you will be over seen. I was disgusted and hurt by the treatment I received from the waitress and the waiter. It was obvious they lacked professionalism and decorum. Next time put a sign out front that reads "we treat our kind better" this way we know not to come into the establishment! read more

Extremely busy place on an Extremely busy street. Arrived at 5 (!), by 5:15 packed. Shrimp ceviche was ok, Tacos were basic, service was efficient, price was reasonable. Very average. Not a place I'll be running back to. read more

I've ordered here from Uber Eats many times, but this was the first time I actually dined in the restaurant. It's pretty quaint. I went in and got seated almost immediately. I ordered quesatacos with birria(they come in 3) a side of consome, and a side of guacamole. It was so so so good. I had to order one more taco. The waiter was very attentive. All in all, it's a very nice restaurant. read more

Normally I do not leave reviews for food delivery experiences but just had my 3rd order from Colima's and their food is just DELICIOUS and warrants praise!! Food is packed securely, easy for quick eats and easy cleanup. Everything has been flavorful and totally worth all the door dash or uber eats fees lol So far I've had their Birria Tacos, Birria Ramen, Rice Bowl, Guac/Chips and everything has been BANGING! Definitely recommend! read more

Been looking for a good Mexican spot with good tacos. Found my guilty pleasure. Definitely cute and a nice vibe type of place. Service was great and the staff was really nice. read more

Service was horrible, the waitress had an attitude which made it unpleasant. However, the owner was polite. The chips were oily and the salsa that came with it tasted as if they just opened up a can of tomatoes and put it in a bowl for us to eat. Tacos were not as bad but could've been better. I wanted to support their small business but I don't think I will be back. Get rid of the waitress as well as the cook. (This was their new location) read more

The first time I went to Colima the food was great. I had the enchiladas. Tonight we ordered tacos and my al pastor tacos had very little meat and large chunks of fat. I'm so confused. No one wants chunks of fat in place of meat. Please try to fix that Colima. read more

Ordered take out from Colima Taqueria and got a pretty good deal for taco Tuesday. I got 3 birria tacos with consomé for only $9. Wow! Talk about cheap !!! My daughter also got the same deal and she really liked the tacos. Just wish they put more meat and onions in there. I also got an order of small fries with a side of nacho cheese and the fries were perfectly salty and the nacho cheese was also good. Next time I'm def trying the birria ramen. read more

‼BIRRIA RAMEN Consume had flavor, the noodles was bland and had zero salt. It wasn't enjoyable at all. They sent the consume on the side (which I was expecting) would I order this birria ramen again NO!!! Only reason I gave a 2 star is because the brouth had some flavor. read more

Came here on a Saturday around 4:30pm with a party of 4. We were seated immediately. The staff was very attentive and our water was always filled. The ambiance was nice. We ordered birria tacos, surf and turf tacos, fried quesadilla, chicken quesadilla and equites. The surf and turf tacos were dry and had no sauce on them. They also had a strong shrimp flavor. The birria tacos were not bad but without the consome they were pretty bland and the portions of meat could have been more generous. The fried quesadilla was dry and it tasted like it was not fresh. The flour used was not a typical quesadilla flour it was more like an empanada flour. Overall, the portions were small and the food wasn't very flavorful compared to other Mexican places I have tried. read more

Their tacos del al pastor is an embarrassment and insult to the Mexican community i have bought multiple tacos de al pastor from many location and i will say these tacos are an abomination they on the menu marinated pork that pork is dry no marinated they forgot the pineapple on my tacos don't buy from here this place is not authentic it sad to see my culture get butchered like this read more

My order was nicely packaged and all items arrived at an appropriate temperature. However, flavor was lacking. The Birria Tacos arrived on soggy flour tortillas. I found the tacos and the consommé to be completely flavorless. The meat tasted really dry but was a bit better when dipped in the consommé. Despite having the sauce for dipping, I still didn't finish them because I didn't see the point wasting calories on something with no flavor. The churros were the saving grace of this order. They were delicious, nice and crispy on the outside, while soft and fluffy on the inside. They did not come with any dipping sauce or anything. Last, I ordered the Mexican coke. It arrived cold, my only issue was it tasted like it had been stored in a basement or garage. The packaging alone shows me that this place is high quality, I only rate it 3 stars because the tacos were expensive and lacked flavor. I'm willing to try other items on the menu. read more

Kind of a small spot wasn't crowded, I was able to order my food quickly, but there was a bit of a wait for it to be made. The cashier was very friendly and accommodating. I ordered the Birria. Queso tacos, they were pretty tasty but don't know if I'd get them again. They seem to have pretty good deals on Mondays and Tuesdays so I'll probably come back for that. read more

Bad service bad customer support. I'm from Jersey. The Food: I ordered Three birria tacos. By looks they looked appetizing and well made. Salsas are available once you get your food if you're dining in. The tacos are a solid 7/10 the meat was a bit dry and a bit chewy. The consomé that comes with it lacked flavor and felt it was an out of the can broth. Birria tacos are to complement each other with the consomé but in this case the tacos tasted better alone. A solid 7/10 since they were good tacos but not the best. Would I come back ? Perhaps as a last minute meal or a last resort. The service: the service is friendly but generic. It's a clear "welcome!, Order, goodbye" The ambience: it's a very nice place very colorful and with a happy vibe to it. On the other hand it does have that typical Americanized downtown Brooklyn Mexican restaurant esthetic read more
