Amazing spot! Neighborhood bar vibes and delicious food. Large menu so you can find anything to fit your craving. Large bar area as well as dining space for whatever fits your needs! Friendly staff and fast service!

We have been here quite a few times ! Always have GREAT service and delicious food! In the fall their homemade soups are a must have!! The fish here is always good and they have HUGE portions! The craft beer on hand is always different and fun to try new flavors!

Cheese picked off since the mgr is either perfect or can't admit a mistake.

Staff is friendly, management is the absolute worst. Food is decent, but the lack of respect and attention from the male manager is extremely rude and disappointing. Apparently you can't POLITELY complain about your order to him. Little does he know we record our phone conversations and after working my entire adult life in customer service know to complain with tact. He had absolute none. Long story short, we placed a take out order and the one meal was prepared incorrectly. Once home we found out and called and spoke to a very nice young lady who got the manager. We were very friendly and stated the one meal was wrong. The male manager asked how we paid and we said by card so he asked if we wanted it refunded to the card on file. We said yes and he hung up. So, we called back and said we were accidentally hung up on and he says "no I did not accidentally hang up, was there anything else we needed" and we said no, so he hung up again. Such a poor display of management. Absolutely 100% disrespectful. No apologies for them getting our order wrong and to be treated like this will never be back. Word will spread fast but unfortunately he doesn't seem to care since their parking lot was full. I'll be sure to deter anyone from patronizing this nastiness. Insult to injury, we even gave a $5 tip (15%) for OUR efforts. Look at my reviews... majority are 4 plus stars. I'd give zero for the way we were treated.

Consistently very good. Have mainly gone for fish on Fridays. Have never been disappointed. Entire group enjoyed the meal and would definitely return. My picture doesn't do it justice

Local restaurant/pub in North Fayette Township that's a a great spot for lenten Friday. The negative side being unless you're lucky to snag a table at the bar, you're in for a bit of a wait in a tiny area or outside. Once you get past that initial hurdle, it really is quite a local gem. Food is good with generous sized portions. The staff is friendly and accommodating, and the place is bustling, as they must see 4 or 5 hours of nonstop service. If you're a beer lover like me, they have a great rotating draft list. I was very surprised to see 3 Floyds, Double Nugget Nectar, Hitchhiker, and Dancing Gnome to name a few.

Small pub was has good food and a very good draft list. We've eaten there many times and always enjoyed our meals. The Ruben is giant, easily share by two. Specials are a good choice; the last time there the fish sandwich was big and delicious. Friendly staff makes this a good stop.

    Do they serve beer?

Of course. Pretty good rotating draft list too.

I noticed that this place used to have a pool table. Do you still have the pool table?

    Not anymore

The joys of traveling with an 18-year-old. After several days of working long hours and running on…read morevery little sleep, there were only a few things on my young travel companion's mind: sports, food, sleep, and probably girls--in no particular order! With an 8:50 PM flight out of Pittsburgh and not much time to spare, we decided to grab dinner on the way to the airport. I let my travel companion pick the restaurant, and since he's a lot like his father, he made a solid choice. All Star Sports Bar & Grill was conveniently located and an easy stop before heading to the airport. Thankfully, the restaurant wasn't busy when we arrived because we still had the rental car return, TSA and a flight ahead of us. We opted for the dining area rather than the bar, which gave me a chance to take in all the sports memorabilia. As a lifelong sports fan, I really enjoyed the atmosphere. Being in Pittsburgh, the walls were covered with Steelers and Penguins history, along with plenty of jerseys from players I grew up watching. Our server, Nicole, was excellent from start to finish. Friendly, attentive, and quick with recommendations. Before my coworker could even look at the menu, I spotted the Soft Pretzel Sticks and ordered them as an appetizer. Good decision. Warm, salty, and paired perfectly with the cheese sauce. Definitely order these When I asked Nicole for recommendations, she immediately suggested the Reuben and the wings. Had I not eaten a Reuben the day before, that's probably what I would have ordered. As for the wings, I'll admit it--I am a Wing Snob. If they're not homemade or from Western New York, I'm usually passing. That's not a knock on their wings; it's just a very high standard that comes from growing up around some of the best wings in the country. Wanting to try something local, I ordered the Pittsburger. For me, it was just okay. Not bad by any means, and I cleaned my plate, but it wasn't a sandwich I'd order again. Looking back, the Reuben probably would have been the better choice. The fries were also average. I requested them crispy and without seasoning, but they didn't really stand out. Meanwhile, my travel companion ordered boneless wings. What can I say? He's 18. I even tried explaining the superiority of blue cheese over ranch, but that lesson appears to have fallen on deaf ears. Overall, I'm giving All Star Sports Bar & Grill 3 stars. That rating has more to do with my particular food choices and the rushed nature of our visit than the restaurant itself. The sports atmosphere was excellent, the service from Nicole was outstanding, and there were several menu items I'd like to come back and try. If I'm back in the area with more time and a bigger appetite, I'd definitely give this place another shot.

I don't know how I'd feel bringing a family in here. The location is a bit wonky in a mall parking lot as well. However, the service was solid, but I was confused because two servers were taking care of us at the same time. If you're looking for a bar while you're at the mall, this is pretty much the only thing you've got that's within the same walking space. Enjoy.

Always packed, always impressive array of beer (one of the best breweries in region, IMO), and the food is tasty and reasonably priced. The site is so vast, there's never a shortage of seating, you just need to do a little bit of exploration to find a spot, but there's fun in that. Still trying to get to the upper command level - might need to head there during non-peak hours. Oh, I forgot to mention that each day/week there are a handful of beers and drinks that are super reasonably discounted - incredibly appreciated in the economic hellscape that is 2025.

The Millvale location is amazing, so I had to go check out the newish Grist House Command. First off, awesome spot. Absolutely massive. Great views, plenty of seating both indoor and outdoor. I liked the double bar set up, made grabbing a beer decently speedy. Beers were tasty as always, huge selection to choose from. One of the few Pittsburgh breweries that have a solid sour selection. Unfortunately, the food was absolutely terrible (details below): - Fresh Tortilla Chips: looks like a 10 year old sprinkled cheddar cheese over a pile of chips and microwaved it for a minute. This entire dish was a massive greasy congealed mess. The fact that they even serve this makes no sense. - Big Pretzel: the pretzel itself was actually really tasty, but the beer cheese was nasty. Terrible texture and extremely grainy. Tastes like someone dumped saw dust into this. Please find a new beer cheese recipe. - Command Style Dog: honestly not bad.... was it worth $7.50? Absolutely not. - Millvale Style Dog: has potential, but the chili is odd. The bun was mush before I even took my first bite. Overall, I'd give this place a 5/5 if it weren't for the food. I absolutely love Grist House, but someone needs to come in and fix the food menu asap.
